A haslet roll (in this case at least) was a white co-op roll that was lying about the kitchen with a slice of haslet (sort of a porky meatloaf, I suppose, for those who may not have partaken of it) in the middle. With a little WW sandwich spread and ketchup. Was very tasty!
Thanks. I'll probably decide on Sunday if I'm doing skin or not, although if it turns out as greasy as it looks from looking at the raw bird I'll probably do it without...nothing worse than greasy skin. Quite excited really. Not very often I get to try something new. Last time it was partridge (minus the pear tree, and certainly no lords a leaping...makes it hard to cook having insane earls farting about in the kitchen! lol), which was nice.
