Smelly Elle's fantastic diary: Weight Loss? What Weight Loss?

Elle I knew that the taste of normality would help, so. . . . . . yay pre Xmas weight!!!

Even though I am having a CD product every morning, because I'm actually calorie counting, I am just living life normally. Which darl you did re inspire me to do. As what you are doing now I did years ago and kept the weight off until work got in the way of my exercise routine and then over 2 yrs and the death of my dad, then depression, the weight slowly crept on.

So babe anyways YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU GO GIRL

guys i managed to keep my weight constant over the weekend when i weighed this morning, even though fri didnt go so well (although i did have a 2 hr walk..). But unfortunately i fear things will change as today i have become a chocolate monster, devouring any that lurks in my path. And when I say lurks in my path I mean within dark corners of cupboards where I have to search and search lol. I've also come out with tonnes of spots so I feel we can all put two and two together (well the ladies can...) and figure out what's going on here. Tomorrow will be a better day im sure because when im at work i have more control. And also, they rate im going, we'll have no chocolate left in the house to devour tomorrow anyway:p

Well, at least im cheerful about it. Although part of me feels like ill be stuck at 12st 9lbs forever and a half...

A picture that I was quite happy with body-wise from friday night, lol..

I'm loving your pic, wish I knew how to put them on here like that!! Don't worry about the chocolate binge...surely you couldn't have ALL that much in the house? lol xx

Don't believe it Hope - If I went on the rampage I'd be in REAL trouble. I have a "naughty box" that I keep in the cupboard for if I feel like and can "afford" to have a treat. The fact that it's there and I can but it's not in my face all the time means that I treat it with respect - but the possibility is there for a mega-choccie binge!!!!

Elle - Don't worry about the blow-out - as long as you don't keep at it of course!

Yehhh, well, I suppose it's not been as bad as christmas but I've had a decent amount lol. I can't understand why sometimes, even if you sit there and say to yourself "gosh elle, you really must stop now or you will truly regret this", it doesn't necessarily mean you'll take your own advise! it's like if I was pricking my finger with a needle lol - i'm aware that i'm 'harming' myself but I'm just not stopping. and really, well, that's a bit stupid. I have noticed, though, that women seem to be worse at this than men. :(

Oh blady 'ell... x

Yea I know just what you mean - it's almost as if you are watching yourself do it - in some sort of detached way. These days I try not to eat unconciously. Even if I have something I perhaps shouldn't I try to do it after making a concious decision to do so (if that makes any sense) That way it tends to be moderated better x

I catch your drift :) i managed to scoop it up with one hand in fact :p

Well, I'm going to make a promise and stick to it this next week.

Until next Friday: I won't have any chocolate
I will drink 2l of water a day
I will keep my portions down when I get home and
have dinner
I will go on at least one long walk
I will do my exercises every night again
I will play on the wii every other day at least
I will not count calories.

Lets see how many I can keep lol...

Wish me lu-uuuuck :D

And now bed... xxx

I reckon you'll find it easy to keep to the last one ;)

Woooo hooo, elle is a beauty. :) I've got the weekend from Hell coming up. Friday night we're all out with the company, somewhere in the mailbox. Saturday is our 36th wedding anniversary and we are going out for a meal, Sunday Eleanor and Nick have decided to have a Chinese at Modern China. That will be fun but talk about a blowout weekend. :p

For the Brummies amongst us that's the old Stockland green pub

Modern China, chinese restaurant, inn chinese restaurant, restaurants - chinese, chinese takeaway, chinese takeaway birmingham

Ha ha Jim - This year is 36 years for me and Mr Stone too (the train robbers did'nt get 36 years did they) hehehe

36 years wed, 38.5 years together, not a life sentence, well not for me anyway ;)

36 years wed, 38.5 years together, not a life sentence, well not for me anyway ;)

36 years in July for me Jim and only joking about the life sentence :D I reckon we're a bit of a rarity these days though don't you? :)

I know you were joking Gem, or you wouldn't still be together:) Apart from a few Army mates I don't know anyone who is still married to their first partner, well no one over the age of 40 anyway Gem. Some of my friends are on their 3rd or 4th partner.

Same here Jim. Mr Stone and I have our own separate interests and don't live in each others pockets all the time. We have different work interests and friends. He's into cars, I'm into music, art and people stuff but somehow it works.

Same with us Gem, maybe that's the secret?
