Sona on Dukan Diet- Restart

Morning!!

Managed to get a shift swap today and didnt start work till 9.30 which meant i didnt get out of bed till 7.30!! woop a whole hour and half extra in bed! plus only 2 n a half hours to go till food time when i get home!! WOOP!

Made my quiche yesterday.. i ended up making one square on in a glass dish instead of minis... not really impressed!

I used 4 eggs, 1.5 table spoon of formage fraise, 1 table spoon level of cream cheese, 1 table spoon of cottage creese sprinkled all over.. salt and red chilli flakes ( i cant eat bland!)

layerd the dish with sliced chicken sausage (3 franks)
poured the mix in and baked for 45 mins.. looked a bit water so gave it another 15 mins till it was golden on top.. turned the oven off and left there for 5 mins and it seemed to have shrunk down but he moisture was gone. all the sausages and chilli flakes were on the top and the salt aswell so the rest of the pie was kinda bland.

Had a slice for brekki and some porridge, hope this keeps me going! im defo in a better mood today!
 
Perhaps you'd find the quiche more palatable in smaller muffin moulds... the way you did it this time, for me, would be too eggy... I stuff mine full of fish things (tasty I think because I use smoked salmon or other smoked fish, prawns, and herbs), and the egg bit is really purely to bind. I don't much like overly eggy quiches!

Great to hear about your "lie in"! And better still that you'll only wait 2.5 hours before eating... that's probably a difficult time for you?

unfortunalty have gained 4lbs but home to get back on some#
kinda track on monday!! will be goodish this weekend!!
 
Hey - I can imagine ts quite hard dukanning when fasting babes! just get back on track when you can xxxxx Plus Dukan says no skipping meals so you cant do it ;)
 
Today

b- bit of chicken from last night
Dukan bread with chicken sauage

S- ww yog

L- chicken and sausage chopped up

S- ww yog

D- beef burgers with cottage cheese. and scrambled egg.

Later had a cup of milk and an apple.
just needed it!

I'm not surprised Sona - it must be very hard indeed with all that tempting food around! (I've always smiled, though, when people refer to it as a month of "fasting"...)
 
today WI 11.11 duno if it will last!

B- porrige
S- chicken drum and 2 coffee's
L- chicken breast and kebab - ketchup.
S- ww yog (a few rainbow drops 3-4)
D- Stir fry with chicken sausage and some sauces
gona have some fruit aswell, probs just a nibble.
S- Gona make some cauliflower soup for laters

Glass of milk before bed may help with this heart burn issue!
 
Well i didnt have stirfry so had beef burger n kebab instead. And cauliflower soup..... Then later had a few bites of choc shortcake n ruined the whole day!

All was not lost with the shortcake i didnt put any weight ON.

today ive come armed at work as ive been getting extra pekkish!

S- Cauliflower soup
D- I really want some chicken drumsticks so might pick some up and
steam them with some marinate on them......... if not.. Beek and cottage cheese.

Maybe some apple.
 
You're doing really well to resist. A fully garnished couscous with ALL the meats and veg is my absolute favourite. I would scoff, no question.:eek:

And phew that there was no gain this morning.:)

i got one of my friends on dukan this week and
she started without the book on my advice and is 5lbs down in 3 days!! Shes started PV today! i really need to get my butt in gear!

Oh I love dates, fresh are nicer though! But dates in porridge in winter are lovely (I'm guessing dried fruit is no good on conso? That will have to wait until winter 2011!)
 
If you really miss something (like dates or ANYTHING really), ensure you include them as part of a treat meal in CONSOLIDATION. (Some people used to have the odd BREAKFAST treat meal, as opposed to lunches and dinners, to be able to have fruit juice, muesli, etc.!!)
