Sophie's Slimming World Diary (Friends welcome, I'm a newbie ♥)

I didn't have a HexB! I was trying to work out how I could incorporate it into the day, but it didn't seem like I could. I was really naughty this morning and weighed myself and I've lost 3lb! So pleased :) I'm going to wait til Saturday til I update anything on here though, on our proper weigh in day. Definitely a good start to the morning :) hope you have a good day!

I've only had my breakfast so far, an activia snackpot (0 syns) and a banana, i've got leftover shepherds pie and some salad (lettuce, cucumber and peppers - im fussy about everything else and hate dressings!) for my lunch which is all free too. HexA is my milk in my teas i will drink at work & my HexB will be olive oil when i do my dinner tonight. I'm making pasta with vegetables in a tomato sauce, adding sausages for my bf as he'll be sad if he doesnt have any meat! He'll have garlic bread with his too - i honestly dont know how i'm so good when i live with him who eats everything!
 
Me too! He's just eaten some mini pork pies, luckily I wouldn't normally eat that anyway haha. Garlic bread is my favourite food I don't know how you coped! I'm making a bit of everything tonight, I'm so excited. I may as well do my diary now.

Breakfast - Apple
Lunch - Apple, Banana, Babybels (HexA)
Dinner - Pasta with onion and garlic sauce, Flatbread (HexB) and Garlic New Potatoes and salad (lettuce, red onion, balsamic vinegar)

14g reduced fat Cheddar with dinner 2.5 Syns (used to top the flatbread with a little garlic)
White chocolate coins 8 Syns

I've not cooked dinner yet, I'm so excited to :) This looks like a really fat day...but I swear it's not :D haha. Hope you had a good day :)
 
I had pasta with onion and garlic sauce too! Did you homemake it? I didnt, i use tesco's and its 8.5 syns per jar. I roughly had about 4 syns last night and i've got half of whats left for todays lunch so that'll be 2 syns. I aso had cheese on top so thats another 2.5 syns. Bad syn day for me when i try to stick to 5! I had mine with some salad.

Today i've had

B - Weetabix (HexB)
L - Left over pasta (2 syns for sauce - no cheese!), salad and grapes
D - Chicken breasts and cous cous in a pepper :), roasted (no oil)

HexA - Skimmed milk

Weigh in tomorrow, am not looking forward to it as i weighed this morning and i'm still only at 1lb loss! I know a loss is still a loss but i'll be sad if its not 2lb or more because i've been really good and have exercised!
 
Lots of bad temptation at work today :( birthday cake which i worked out to be about 9 syns (!!!!!) and some homemade fudge and coconut ice! Weigh in tomorrow too so i am trying desperately to be good!
 
Hi guys! Thought I'd pop along and subscribe, nice to have two people's food diaries on one thread :p I've been doing Slimming World at home since March, so I may not have all the info from groups, SW online etc but I'd like to think I know quite a lot by now - so if you have any questions then go for it! You both seem to be doing very well :) x

Hello, sorry for the late reply, it's been a manic evening! My plans for cooking a healthy dinner tonight have failed beyond miserably...we needed to have something quick and easy. I debated pasta again but ended up having the following.

Breakfast- Apple
Lunch- Apple, Babybels (HexA)
Dinner- Margarita pizza (800cals), half a garlic baguette (god knows) and some potato wedges. That's got to be what...50 Syns at least?!
Dessert- 4 Lindt Lindors (4.5 Syns each)

I'm doing this to shame myself, I know we needed a quick meal but this is just a terrible excuse, I bet after losing this week I'll have put on when I weigh myself tomorrow for weigh in! Feel so full of food, I feel sick and like I've already slipped into my old ways and let myself down :'(

Pants! I hope you are all well.
 
Hey, i weighed in this morning and have lost 1.5lbs - bit less than i hoped but it wasnt unexpected. Last weekend i went and had a chicken/bacon baguette with bbq sauce and cheese with chips, then went on a night out and drank wine! Then on the sunday i have a mcdonalds bagel for breakfast and a pizza for lunch/dinner! So dont beat yourself up about last night, i ate more crap last weekend than you did last night and i still managed to scrape a loss!
We all have moments where we slip up, we just have to pick ourselves up again the next day. It doesnt mean we've failed, it means we're human. One day isnt going to ruin your hard work that you put in the rest of the week :)
Today is my treat day....yay! Although i'm going to try and be good with it. x

That has made me feel so much better <3 I weighed myself this morning, and I've lost 4.5lb! I started on Tuesday so I'm really really pleased! I could have done much better too (yesterday...ahem) but it's definitely spurred me on for the next week!

Well done on your loss, it's definitely moving in the right direction! :D How much should we aim for by next week? 2lb?

Yesterdays treat day really was awful haha....double cheeseburger and mozzarella dippers breakfast/lunch, lasagne and garlic bread for dinner then sweets and a packet of crisps! Need to try and make up for that today although i was meant to be going out for toby carvery so will need to try and make that as healthy as i can (eeek!)

Hey! This weekend hasn't been too bad so far, quesadilla for lunch and pasta for dinner last night, beans on toast so far today. I'm fairly sure I've eaten all the syns for the weekend in white chocolate though :D haha. It's definitely easier to do a food diary in the week than in is at the weekend. We go to London on the 2nd November, and I want to create a mini-goal by this date. So I have 19 days til then really to hit the target. Should I aim for 5lbs? Or more? I'm trying to work out a realistic amount but an amount that will also make me feel the difference, too.

I think a 5lb aim by 2nd Nov is a good one :) I'm seeing some of my bfs family on 10th nov and want to have lost about another 7lb by then - i haven't seen them since early september so i'll be 2 months and i'll hopefully have lost a stone and a few pounds by then so it'll be noticeable.

Awful weekend of eating, totally writing it off and starting again today! No point beating myself up over it, just have to work extra hard this week to make sure i continue the losses! Going to Zumba tonight, 8-9, its a horrible time to go because its so late but its the only time they do it that i can make. Swimming and gym this week too, going to sweat all the fat out haha.

Well if it makes you feel any better, we had Dominos last night! :O Awful. It was amazing, I didn't even feel guilty afterwards because I knew I was going to work hard this week to make up for it! It won't be happening next weekend though, haha. Thank you so much for saying that about my photo :) I was still smoking then (I quit in January, piled on so much weight) that was taken around Christmas time 2010. I really want to get back there as I was very happy at that size. I was thinking and slowly but surely I've lost all my confidence, I used to wear dresses even when I was a couple of stone heavier than in that photo, but I'd never wear one now. I'm really determined, just so glad I found this website and met you as it's made such a difference so far. I'll update my diary tonight :)
 
Aw bless you hun, well to be honesst i think its only coming on here and admitting what i'm eating that keeping me on the straight and narrow in the week! Weekends are a different matter, although next weekend i want to be good with eating during the day as i'm at a 30th birthday party saturday evening so i'll be drinking.
Smoking does make you put weight on but at least you've caught it early and nipped it in the bud :) ooooh i'm so jealous of your pizza! I love pizza so much :( actually i'm going to make that smash pizza tomorrow! i have tuesdays off so it gives me time to do it, will let you know how it goes x
