:eek: how much chorizo do you get.for 2.5 syns? Always assumed it would be high as it is fatty... Love it but BOY does it make us gassey when we have it :| and the gas smells like chorizo which is scary LOL

Not much! I buy the asda spicy chorizo slices which are in the chosen by you range. They're 0.5 syns per slice but have a nice flavour. I can't say they particularly make me gassy lol.

Lost half a lb this week, not sure how I managed it after my boozy and picky weekend, must have been the good week I had before.

Still feeling cold and run down, not sleeping fabulously well and my skin is awful! I've always had great skin but I'm blotchy and dry with eczema :( think its just all the stress with work issues.

Well done on the loss! Am jealous :p I think drinking yesterday botched my WI today, grr.

I've lost the plot all together since Thursday. Meals have been on plan mostly but just eating absolute rubbish the rest of the time. Star week arrived on Saturday and I've felt dreadful with cramps and headaches ever since. Sure that my diet isn't helping but nothing is beating the chocolate cravings :( sure I've sabotaged any loss I may have had this week.
 
Sorry to hear that you've felt so shoddy hun :( put the food stuff behind you and start afresh! Clean slate, don't snowball too far down the hill, you've been doing really well! :)
 
WI yesterday was a STS, think I've been really lucky the last few weeks considering how badly I've been eating/drinking. Back to basics for me now, EE to begin with, going to write food diaries and try not to use any more than 10 syns per day. Plan to allow myself 15 if I really need them but aiming for 10.

Today's foods

B-35g all bran yogurty flakes (hxb) with 150ml skimmed milk (HXa)

S-orange and bannana

L-sw red pepper houmous and veggie sticks (carrot, celery and cucumber). 0% fat activia. 1 miniature hero choc (2 syns)

S-fresh pineapple

D-nandos!! Butterfly chicken breast and spicy rice (6 syns) with corn on the cob and salad (syn free as didn't use dressing or butter and asked for corn without brushing any oil on

Options mint hot choc (2 syns)

10 syns total

1l sugar free squash, pint of water, fruit tea, 3 coffees, cup of tea.

Great that you are back on track.

Saw once on here when someone did the maths on a post and said that cutting out syn allowance wont make a huge difference on your overall WI... 5 less a day is 700cal less a week so would cause maybe 1lbs less weight over 5 weeks, but if you are coming back on the wagon it is safer to have all your syns and enjoy yourself than feel deprived and fall off again. X

D-whole meal pasta with bolognaise sauce made from extra lean beef mince with mushrooms, onions, peppers and passata.

S-ripple (8.5) and options (2)

10.5 syns

Fluids-1.5 l no added sugar squash, 1 fruit tea, 1 coffee, 500ml fanta zero.

It makes sense that 5 syns a day less wouldn't make much difference weight wise but I have a tendency to use them for the sake of it so cutting back to 10 is just about regaining a bit of control.

I'm off to chiquito tonight with friends so hoping to make some decent choices there instead of thinking "it's just one meal it won't make a difference".
 
Chiquito! I love mexican food!!! Just avoid the natchos and guac :( I miss guac but it is soo bloody suynfull for a tiny portion!

I understand what you mean about cutting back for control. Does also mean you will have 35 spare syns in case you go out or go over, gives you some breathing space if you slip which is nice.x
 
So my mates bailed and I ended up going on a date with my hubby. Went to a gorgeous little bistro but omg syns!!

Did body combat this morning so hopefully that may have counteracted a little?!?

Whoops! Was absolutely amazing food and so nice to get a bit dressed up and go out with hubby on my own.
 
Sounds so yum! And date with hubby sounds lovely :D I need to try and do that with my boyfriend some time, spend too much time in lifestyle mode, nice to get dolled up and go out!

It was such a lovely night, I enjoyed every minute and every mouthful and didn't feel even slightly bad about the syns/fat/calories!!
Had a busy day today, started Christmas shopping-shock!! And went to visit a friend who is pregnant and not coping too well with vommiting. Spent the evening so far cooking, made some soup for work lunches this week and dinner ready for when hubby gets bk from work. Need to do some ironing :-/ least fave job ever.

1lb off today. Had hoped for a tiny bit more, just 1.5 to get me on track for a Christmas mini goal of 3 stones off. I calculated 17lb loss by Christmas would be 1.4 lb a week loss.
Anyway focus on the positive, only 2lb to get 2 stone award. Hoping for this next week.

Will be back later to write my food diary, I find it really does help me with staying on track.

Exercise has fallen by the wayside a bit recently, am managing some body magic at the weekends but I'm spending every evening reading and doing interview preparations.

One onion ring is 3.5 syns? :| bloody hell! Have had a couple of cheeky onion rings over my year on SW without synning them :p

Am a little bummed about WI in terms of xmas challenge too (I gained a pound!) but I guess the point of setting a mini target is to motivate ourselves to be good, so if we are being good and not getting amazing losses we still know we are trying hard :)

Ouch, yeah... Like the time I went for a coconut milk noodle thai curry thinking it would be a healthy option only to find out that coconut milk is the most synful bloomin' thig ever!! Haha... I do know he syn value for most of my favourite foods as I looked them all up near the start, but things like one onion ring I'd just let slide usually :rolleyes: tut!

Where did you find the yoghurty flakes all bran? Are they nice? Have been looking out for them but to no prevail. Worried I will get bored of choc orange shreddies if I overdo them like at the mo :p love 'em! Always save a hex of each for a bowl in the evening for desert.
 
The yogurt flakes are really nice! They're from asda but are all bran branded.
