Sunday Weighers... or is it only me?

Well done guys! fantastic week for me with another 12lbs off!!

OMG - 12 pounds! Well done!!

Everyone has had a great weight loss this week - mid-week I was on course to do the same, and despite a really good week (kept a diary, 100% SW plan and loads of exercise as I was off work) I have lost a measly 0.2 kgs which is a smidge under half a pound. Midweek I was down by over 2 pounds on last Sunday, and thought I was going to have a great week.

(Sorry if this is TMI) However, I chart my cycles and today I am due to ovulate, and having done a bit of googling, this can cause water gain, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that my hard work catches up with me next weigh day!

thanks! dont worry about this week, as you've assumed, next week will tell a truer picture

Welcome Bumblebum!

Why d - that is fantastic ! What a difference a week makes. And Honey will have her 2 stone sticky in no time!

Hi Sparky - a loss is a loss. Look at it in the context of the whole month. I lost only 0.5 last week and STS the week before. Combined with this week's loss I am happy over all. I think Why d's last few weeks show a similar pattern and he had a massive loss this week. Some weeks are just better than others.

well said!

my food diary tells all, but basically i reread the books and bought a load of quorn, lol i'm usually an EE kinda guy but threw in a few green days and made sure i was getting enough superfree on the EE days

Well done to everyone who has lost this week.

I am feeling very chuffed because I have lost 4 lbs this week weighing in this morning despite going out for a curry yesterday with friends. (Total now 19lbs in 6 weeks). I was sensible last night (but had yummy food) and it has obviously paid off !

Feeling a bit 'munchie' now but have been inspired by all the stories here so am going to go and make myself something sensible but filling to try and stave off those feelings.

Thanks everyone.

Well done Gail!

Must admit, I'm finding this great. I've found loads of things I can eat and I'm getting quite inventive with what I'm cooking. And its only been one week lol!

And yes....I've bought loads of quorn too!!

Wow there's some great losses out there this week - special mention to whyd! A 2lb gain for me - expected something as didn't go to gym at all last week cause of OH's man-flu!
*big sigh*
Keep plodding and fingers crossed to shift it this Sunday

Up early this week as the OH is off running a race, so no lie in!

Well, I have done nothing different this week to last, and this week the scales are telling me I have lost 2.3kgs, or 5 lbs in old money. That's the 2 and a bit I really lost last week, plus another this week. :D

Am sure you will see a loss this week Babysham. Have you managed to get to the gym this week?

well after such a good loss last week, i knew i couldnt expect much this week. so more than happy with a STS :)

Well done guys! That's really good.

I've put on a pound, so am a bit despondent. I've checked my food diaries, and I did go over my SYNS a few days, even though I ate a lot less. I mean, for a couple of meals in the evening I got in very late, so had a tin of soup (10 SYNS), despite not having a large meal.

Just shows, SYNS do count - I thought I would be all right, because I was really eating very little this week (it's been a difficult week), and no binges or over-eating. I'm not too upset, it was a surprise because I *feel* thinner - I suspect it's water retention also. Anyway, my first instinct was to not log my weight, but apparently one of the big things to achieving your goals (in any area) is to make them public, make them small, and make yourself accountable.

I'm hoping for a steady loss next week, and my plan for this week is to also drink a lot more water, which I neglect to do all the time.

Good luck with your week ahead!

Well done Babysham on the 4 pound loss!

Why_d - think you were expecting it after such fantastic losses the previous weeks. Still, onwards and downwards:D

Honey - Am sure you will be back on track next week. I think the water issue is a big one. I try and drink 2 litres a day or else I start retaining it:(
