Sausage - well done for sticking to plan and for STS. That means that you are still at the halfway point. That is a good thing
. This week therefore is another VERY important week. I sometimes find that when I am very good, the results are a bit delayed, therefore if you keep this up, you should see some results. I wondered mid week about suggesting that you revise the exercise target. Sometimes I am a bit the same that if I am going to fail anyway, then blow it, might as well not bother. Which is why I tend to set quite low targets so that at least I achieve them.
Dawn - 0.75lb is a good loss. However I am a bit concerned that you have been ravenous all week. For me, that would not be a sustainable plan. I can only stick at that for so long. Is there any possibility that you can increase your superfree or drink a bit more ??? I'll try and have another look at your food diaries again - this week has been a tad (ie ridiculously) busy. I might make the same comment that I have made to sausage about target setting too - 10lb is pretty tough for a month. In the past (when I had more to lose) I would have set a maximum target of 1lb a week, now my targets (if I set them) are 0.5lb per week and as long as I achieve that, I'm happy. Anything else is a bonus.
WG - Well done on STS. It looks like you know why and have a strategy so keep it up
Rayven - 1lb loss is great. You have had lots of things going on and you are turning it round. Good on you.
Madmavey - STS is good. You know why. Fingers crossed for this week. Hugs.
Why_d - Ha ha. STS is good (I seem to be repeating myself here..................!). Well done.
Nettie - I think Spanx made some good comments. This will definitely be a journey with ups and downs. You have to commit and to accept the consequences of 'off plan moments' as well as accepting that sometimes even on plan, you will have a gain. It's ok to gain, we've all done it. If you don't WI, you may be really good all week and then STS - that may well have been a good loss but if you don't weigh, you could just be disappointed that all your efforts have amounted to 'nothing'. However if you decide to WI, have a think about your strategy beforehand. There really is no point in going on a binge if you gain - you will only hurt yourself. However as I said above, it is possible that by not weighing, you are just moving the binge from this week to next week for slightly different reasons ??? At the end of the day, you know yourself and we are all different but I would encourage you to see this as a journey and just accept the hills along with the dips. Sorry if I sound harsh, I really don't mean to be - I've been there, still go there at times. Big hugs because I know it's not easy.
Kwise - Never mind. It will come off and you have your incentive. If you have a big meal yesterday that might also be part of the reason. For your anniversary dinner, if you want calamari, then work your food around that. Plan what you are going to have (including extras) then work the week around that. Most of all, have fun. You will be back in the 'normal' zone (well weight wise at least) soon as long as you stick to the plan. It might be next week, it might not but it WILL be soon.
JackJane - Yay. 3lb is fab. Now you can move on. Have a fantastic time in London. If you end up in Hello, please let us know which page........
Jo - 2lb is good. It's a great start. I know successful losers who have had big first week losses and those who put on in the first week. It's going in the right direction. Welcome back
Honey - You are just AMAZING. I am so so proud of you. I don't blame you for being emotional. Just think how you'll be in a couple of months on your 1 yr anniversary. Wow. Just fantastic.
Spanx - I tried to rep you again but it won't let me !! STS is a great result after this week. Fantastic. Go and have an amazing holiday. Do your best and we will see you back here after that.
Pinktoaster - your comment made me laugh. STS is ok. You have been struggling a bit recently so that is a good result.
I lost 2lb this week. Am delighted with that considering I lost 5lbs (unexpectedly) last week. My scales this morning said 11st 13.8 lbs so technically I am still in the 12's. But I don't care. I can see the light !!! Next week is my last WI before a big holiday so even if I get officially into the 11's, it's only likely to be 1 week, however I will get there eventually no matter how long it takes. This is my way of life now. I feel amazing, so it doesn't matter whether it takes me another 6 months or another 60 months, as long the general direction is either maintain or down I don't care. Big hugs everyone. Hope next week is better for most of you.
