Sunday Weighers... or is it only me?

Cross posting there Why-d - wasn't ignoring you. One pound off is still one pound in the right direction, and if you are feeling bloated you might find more will catch up with you later - well done.
 
Ooooh - I am getting tantilisingly close to getting under 200lb, and to my BMI making me merely overweight!

Come on mojo - don't fail me now!
 
Boooo! Sts again! Frustrating cos I have been good.
Did 100% week so no go go needed for me :)
All my size 14 trousers do up now, although some are still way too tight, but they do up! So, despite sts, I am holding on to that!
Grapefruit every day this week and will complete week 5 of c to 5 k

Hope everyone else gets a loss! I shall take myself over to the slow losers team!

Can I join the Sunday weigh in please?

I am starting tomorrow (planning and shopping today) so my current weight is 211lbs, my target is 140lbs, and I hope that this time next week I will be posting my first loss!!

Woodland Girl - don't be disheartened - the scales are only part of the story. I've had weeks where I have sts or even gained, and yet my clothes feel looser and people have commented that they can see I've lost more weight. Sometimes it just doesn't show in the scales, especially if you exercise as when you last worked out will affect your weight loss if only temporarily, so it can seem a bit erratic.

I did the Cto5K programme a while back too.

I guess if you are weighing in Sunday mornings you are going it alone at home rather than a class? Have you done SW before?

Hello Sunday weighers! I lost 3 1/2 lbs this week!!! Woo hoo and yay me. It takes me tantalisingly close to losing five stones, next week for sure.

I have had three very good weeks, and apart from the bottle of wine on Thursday have been mindful about eating well. I have a stinky cold this week, so no walking.

Am so glad to have had a big loss this week, to be honest, I think I lost more but I took the higher weight. When I lose 5 stones I want there to be doubt at all about it!!!!

Am so pleased, can't tell you. I feel great this week despite the cold, I can really tell that I have lost a lot of weight now, my face has changed totally, and I'm feeling motivated.

Right: my personal mini challenges this week .... Oh my, can't believe I am going to try these...

1. No sneaky scale peaks. I shall not weigh myself til next Sunday!!! Aaahhh!

2. No crisps. Not a single crisp shall touch these lips!!

3. Keep syns low- below 10 a day.

4. Only snack on super free. I normally do this one anyway!

Sounds like a great plan!! I love trying to work out my own challenges for the week. I've been having snacks of frozen berries (thawed out) with mulller light yoghurt - it's very very tasty.

Yes, I have done SW before, but let bad habits and poor self discipline beat me! However, tomorrow is IT!!

I love the weekly challenges you set yourselves, so I am going to set myself:

1. Stick to my planned out meals
2. Increase water intake
3. Keep daily syns to no more than 10 (may be having to partake in Champagne on Thursday so by restricting I will allow myself a small glass or 2!)
4. Other than Thursday no alcohol.


As for the frozen berries, I love them!! I defrost overnight and have them on top of my porridge for brekkie, love them!!

Hey dizzy, good luck!!! I know you can do it. I know this is a daft question, but why are you waiting till tomorrow? It's just that I've done that so many times, had one 'last' day of eating unhealthy and promising myself i was going to start tomorrow. It's my biggest failing, i would say.

But you have a plan, and that's fabulous! I think it's great to take Sundays to plan for the week ahead.

As "tantalising" is the word of the day, I am now tantalisingly close to my halfway point and to club 20.

No specific goals for next week. Will get my thinking head on today and think of something.

It must be fluid making you STS for sure- have tonnes of melon so you can pee like sausage - ;)

Thanks Honey - I am guessing now that my 3 lb gain the week before must have been something other than true weight, but I don't know what. It all averages out so I wont be too upset if I have a big gain again :)

I lost 2 despite eating a huge chocolate brownie and ice cream last Sunday. I took my syns as a weekly amount though, and had a few low days which clawed back the *coughs and mumbles something incomrehensible* syns I ate last Sunday.
 
Morning my lovely sunday weighers. First just wanted to start by saying a massive thank you to everyone for your supportive posts - it is so helpful to hear that others go through the same problems!

To keep you informed the mojo seems to be working its way back and I am now on day 4 of 100% and in such good spirits and feeling motivated again! Am loving that spring is here and bought loads of lovely fresh salad and veg items and some yummy fruits when I went shopping last night. Just sat and enjoyed a raspberry and cranberry mullerlight with chopped strawberries and raspberries on my bran flakes for my brekkie this morning! yum yum.

OK enough waffling.........massive well done Moz, Why_d, Sparky, Honey, Kwise and Silly Sausages on your losses (sorry if I missed anyone so hard keeping up with the posts). Bumper loss this week silly sausage so close to your next target - will be overpopulated with bunnies soon enough! ooh and well done on reaching your stone Kwise!

OK I wasn't expecting much this week with my bad start to the week but I have been really good for the last half of the week and had very low syn days and low and behold I managed a 2lb loss!! I am taking it with open arms. Finally tips me into the 12st range and am now only 3lb away from my 4 stone sticky. Looking forward to a 100% week x x
