Surfhunny's Countdown to Florida

The wedding was absolutely gorgeous. I'm probably slightly biased because it's my favourite cousin though lol. We spent tons of time together when we were teenagers, getting into all kinds of mischief, always his fault never mine ;) his wife Kim is lovely, they've been together for ages and I'm so glad they're finally married :D

The ceremony was outside which was lovely, in a little iron gazebo thing. I'll post pics when I get home tonight cos they're all on my camera.

I don't know whether it's because it was a small wedding of close family and friends but I felt really comfortable in my dress, and didn't have to make people retake photos all the time. I guess my hard work paid off :D

Right back on the wagon tomorrow, I've got a lot more hard work to do yet. I'm quite proud of myself this weekend really. I have over eaten, no doubt about that, but nowhere near as much as I would've done before Beck. And I've got no problem what so ever with getting back on it either, in fact I can't wait, I'm sick of eating!!!
 
OMG OMG OMG Surf I have to ask where did you go for the wedding -

I only ask as I went to stay over at a hotel this weekend for my 10th wedding anniversary and when I was having breakfast I saw a lady and Im SURE it was you.

Were you staying at Rossett Hall Hotel by any chance ? The other reason I was convinced it was you was the guests all had northern / geordie accents and I know you are from teeside.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!! I Knew it my hb said there was no way it would be you because of being from different areas of the country and the odds on us both being in the same hotel and I said well I will show you her pic on minis when we get home Im 90% sure its her and when i showed him the pic he was like well it does look like her but I dont reckon it will be.............. I knew I was right! IM so amazed!!!!

we were sitting on the top bit in oscars and you walked past us to go out after you had finished your breakfast

I wish I had said somet now so we could hav met properly but you know what its like if it had been mistaken identity its so embarrassing.

Glad you had a nice time at the wedding its such a lovely hotel isnt it. We got married at the hotel 10years ago but they didnt have the iron gazebo then and unfortunately it peed down all day aswell but we had such a nice time.

I am hoping to be around a bit more this next few months I need to get some weight off for my hols in June but from whats been going on on here I think I need to get Beck seems everyone is doin it and its helping loads.

Whats the 5HTP and whats it for and does it help lose weight quicker or is it more of a mood balancer - could def do with that aswell! Im always ok for the first few months on the diet but then my mood really plummets so anything that can help that would be ace.

Wow that's amazing!! Its a shame but youre right it couldve been really embarrassing if it hadnt have been me. Are you from this area then? My cousin lives in Wrexham and we've got other family down here. He met his wife Kim when he was at NEWI in Wrexham, my little bro also went to NEWI cos we've got family here.

It's too nice to have to drive all the way back up Norfff lol. We're going out for lunch (bleurgh sick of eating) then driving home.
 
Yes its my home town. I live about half way between wrexham town and rossett hall. its a lovely area of the country - I came up to newcastle to do my nurse training in the 90's and loved it up there but living city centre wasnt for me as I missed my family too much so came home.

it is TOO nice for you to be travelling all day I agree and i know what you mean about being sick of eating it gets like that when you have been ssing.

Oh I'm dreading going on the scales tomorrow, I feel like a house end :( I had such a fantastic weekend, but it's over now, back to SS tomorrow. I can't wait, I've had a constant full feeling since Friday night and I don't like it. And the other thing TMI alert .... I'd forgotten how what goes in must come out, I'm sick of going to the loo.

As soon as I get the photos on the computer I'll put some on here.
 
i'm joining you tomorrow surf. back to ss+ as i've put on like 8lbs in 2 weeks!
 
He he I think I've probably put that on in 2 days!!!! Dreading the scales tmw, but needs must!!!

Just realised I didn't answer your question about 5-htp!! It's a building block for seratonin which is a good mood hormone, so it does balance moods but I find that it gets rid of any cravings!! I haven't had a burning craving for anything since I started taking it! It's wonderful!!
 
Just had a look through my photos on my camera and only have one of me, so here it is. There's more on Dads camera so when I get my hands on them I'll put them on too.

Re the 5-htp stuff - I'll add my vote of confidence. I haven't been cheat-free since I started taking it, but I'm certain I've done better than I would've done without it. I'm so much more positive in myself - it's hard to explain. My mood seems to be on much more of an even keel.
 
I bloody hate my body!!! I have put on 8lbs in 3 days :( well 9 if you include the 1lb I managed to gain on SS before I even went!!! I'm back up well into the 14's again :( the first time I did CD I went away for a week and only gained 3lbs and I ate far more than I have this weekend.

It's things like this that make me wonder if I'll ever be able to eat again or am I just going to have to stick to CD for the rest of my life?? I know 4lbs give or take will be glycogen weight but I'm still gutted, I don't know why I even bothered trying to be good!
 
My theory is that you carry more water after cd and I would say that 7lbs will be water.

Started today shanny! Day 1 ss+ for me to loose 8lb that I managed to put on in 2 weeks :(
