I've finally plucked up the courage to do the zumba game again. I did the 20 minute lesson which was okay, but my leg is aching now. It was a bit of a shock really because it's been fine for weeks! But it's the same ache I got when I first went back to work, so I'm not worried. I think I'll stick to doing these 20 minute classes for a while though, to build up my strength before going back to my usual class. Not sure I'd manage an hour yet without hurting myself.

I'm sitting with my ice pack on for a little while, but it felt good getting back to it.

I can't wait for Sunday to get back on track again. This time I've told a few friends at work, just to make myself more accountable there too. I'm looking forward to 3 weeks of not having to plan and think ahead about what I'm eating.

just seen the end of BL, it's US voting time so next weeks is going to be pants! the week after will be the biggie i think :) i'm so tired. time for bed i think and it's only 8.50!
 
i was ok, got clapped :) just put on my confident face and just did it. pauline thought she was too fat and unfit to continue with her idea of teaching zumba but i think she's fine. honestly i do. she's so lovely and kind and would be a very good and patient teacher.
 
Aw it's cr@p when you feel that way, and I'm sure she'd be fab at it! Such a shame :( Glad you did it though!!

Im gutted BL is almost over :( I don't know what I'll do without it. Hopefully the next season will follow on quite quickly!!
 
you know what to do with zumba sally, take it lower. you can do an hour but just don't go all out. i've got zumba again tomorrow and i'm going to take it easy, lol however, i do get carried away sometimes though. can't help myself i just go off into my own little zumba world! back to ss+ tomorrow 4 shakes and milk. good job as i've ran out of cottage cheese but i do have salad in so i might give that to my mum. i'm thinking if i do ss+ from thur to sun i might loose my excess and a little bit more, then go 810 for a week and then do a low carb idea if i can, if not then i'll just have to get it off again with ss+ or a longer vision of 1000/1200 and look on it as a slow loss. i really don't know why i'm not a stick but then again there are others out there that do far more exercise than me.

That sounds like a good old plan Nikki!! I'm wishing the days away until Sunday so I can crack back on lol. I prob won't even enjoy the meal that much, so hopefully won't over eat at it.

I'm an all or nothing girl when it comes to exercise, I can't take it easy :( even a couple of minutes into the game I was giving it rock all because I just can't help myself lol, so I think going back to proper zumba right now will land me right back in A&E :eek:

you sometimes have to take a step back from giving it your all. i do that from time to time and really enjoy the no cal burn pressure workout. much more fun to take it lower and still do a low cal plan than give it all up. i think i've got bum problems, rock solid bum problems which might account for the pound gain on low carb plan. nevermind fully charged and raring to go on ss+ as of tomorrow. can't wait for the amazing K to hit me full on.
 
Thats my trouble. I live by extremes with exercise, food... Most things I need to learn to get a hold of it and function in the middle lol. I'll get there. Mind you I think the routines at my zumba are less complicated than the game.

Yes I think you are right. My neighbour was struggling on beginner 20mins. I do intermediate 45 when I do it. I want to sweat the night away!
 
No I'm here!! Not feeling too chatty tonight lol, I'm so tired, woke up a couple of times in the night last night boo!! So I'm probably heading off to bed in a bit.

BUT before I go I can't wait to get back onto CD on Sunday, I've told the girls this is what I'm doing and I told them I won't go on about being on a diet, I'm just going to quietly get on with it. So I'm going to need to vent on here I'm sure. The response from them was mostly positive apart from the girl who lost tons on LL then gained it back, she said I'm being stupid, blah blah blah, the diet is bad for me Blah blah blah, I'll put it back on as soon as I stop the diet blah blah blah. I switched off and let her rant lol. It's not the diets fault the weight went back on her, I didn't even bother to defend my choice, just said it's my choice and thats what i'm doing!!

got my new zumba stuff today. love it. i wanted desperately to go to a zumba class tonight to try it out. already done zumba this am.
 
How exciting!!! I'm gutted I emailled Play.com to find out how long they expect it to be before my 30 Day Shred is back in stock and they said up to 28 days so cancelled my order and ordered it from Amazon instead, paid more but at least I won't have to wait so long!!

Oh you are brave buying the 30 day shred!! I keep hearing about it and it sounds very effective but very scary! I don't think I could manage 1 minute let alone 30 days :eek:

Good Luck for starting CD next week!
