Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

Morning all

I am one Very Happy Bunny today. got some new spray and charmingly named Mucus Relief tablets from the chemist last night and had a pretty good night's sleep.

Sadly, got woken at 1am by my dearest friend in NZ to say her mum had died. It has been expected for some time but is still very sad for her (TBH I only met her mum a couple of times years ago, but Angie was my rock when Mum was ill).

Then I had a lovely dream where she and her mum, and me and mine, were all on the balcony of a villa in Italy at sunset, drinking wine and admiring the view over the mountains. Woke up with a smile on my face :)

Feeling very good about SW at the moment, definitely feeling a slight difference in bra fitting, etc.

B - eggs on toast, tea, latte
L - chicken stir fry
D - baked bean lasagne
S - sauteed potato, yoghurt
W - 2 litres
E - shouting at people
A - no

Have a great day xxx

I'm sorry to hear about friend's mum ... It must bring up stuff about your mum! Hugs...

But.... Great news about SW!! I'm well pleased for you Susie! :)

yey menu sounds lovely glad you feeling good too x

Sounds like a wonderful dream Susie, cottage looks nice too :D - really sorry to hear about your friend's Mum though, very sad for her.
:hug99:

omh how romantic suze and im sure i saw some furry creature in there ;) x

WOW. drinking some nice prosecco looking at those views. Nibbling on some antipasti and roast peppers drizzled in olive oil and garlic. The smell of fresh basil and oregano wafting from the kitchen...that hazy afternoon sunshine just warming your skin as the cold prosecco bubbles dance on your tongue....

Hi Susie,
I love your dreams:). Excluding the method of possibly raising money (ahem!!!) - unfortunately it probably needs lots of care and yet more dosh. I suggest you dream about it, rent it and let someone else do the worrying:D. In fact - please can i come too - dreamming of prosecco and the view...we could have a great meet;)

Driving over lemons... Loved the book ... Always been my dream... Pater Mayle was my hero in the 80s! :)

Evening all - arrived home in an unknown (for me) burst of energy, so washing is done, beef casserole is on, celeriac chips are in the oven and glass of wine is poured!

Now - I've lost my Rev and Customs online login so can't do the PAYE so instead there's time to dream about houses in Italy, prosecco and the perfume of lemons, lavender and herbs ahhh :D

Other favourite travel books - just finished the three part Jamie Ivey series, starting with Extremely Pale Rose (with an accent over the e) - also Frances Maye (Under the Tuscan Sun - book is great; the movie is an all time fav girly's movie), Susan Loomis, Carol Drinkwater and of course Peter Mayle.

Reading a charming book right now called The Surprise of Cremona by a 1950s author, Edith Templeton.

I did two years of Italian at uni but am so not fluent - so going to look online for evening courses right now :D

I'm so impressed with the burst of energy Susie! :) I love under the Tuscan sun ... I've just been recommended House in France by somebody Gully ... The chap who recommended it writes a book column for a property mag and he's so wonderful to listen to ... Eloquent and a huge vocab... I'm going to try and find the book on kindle... :)

Morning Susie, ah, now you have me dreaming of Languedoc-Rousillon and we have no more holiday left until next year :(

Buongiorno tutti, com'e stai? (how are you all?) :)

Nice day here but working from home as the cold is back, so am cruelly keeping my germs to myself instead of sharing them with the office.

Not sure what's on the menu today, will probably eat up the casserole.
