Morning all

Probably not going to be around much as it is likely to be a mad few days here. Full dress rehearsal today, then community music and dance from 3pm tomorrow, then the concert - and I'll be escorting media around, taking them round London, taking them to lunch/dinner.

Have decided not to carry prepared food round with me, I'm going to have my hands full, will try my best to stay Atkins-ish, but expect a bit of bread to creep in. Hopefully the scales won't show too horrendous a jump up!

Have a fab few days lovely people, and I'll catch up with you all soon xxx

Morning all

After a busy but wonderful couple of days, I'm back We had a full house at the Royal Festival Hall, and I got quite emotional - our students played magnificently, in what's a hugely challenging piece of contemporary music-performance art.

It's not everyone's cup of tea, but if you fancy hearing it the concert was played in full on Radio 3 -

Oh and I'm also going to try not to worry about the house purchase - heard on Friday that there's a problem with the legals to do with the freehold - which, if it's as bad as it sounds, may force me to pull out!
