Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

Cake sounds mega - looking forward to report:D
Xx

Morning Susie love. ;)

Morning Jim and all you lovely ladies :)

Well, that weekend went by too fast! Found it very difficult to get out of bed this morning - but it is a gorgeous day out there :)

We've just tried some cake and it's not bad - but despite all the spices I put in you can just taste some of the zinginess of the ginger.

It reminds me of moist poppyseed cake, that sort of texture - maybe a bit lighter. The frosting has worked well too.

Am busy yawning my head off here - got loads to do but just can't focus!

Morning Susie, love reading about all your lovely weather lol.

Cake frosting sounds lush. Every time I try to order the syrups on lcm they're sold out!

Have a good day )

Evening all after a rather frustrating day... a senior academic decided 4.30pm was the best time to edit an award submission - which was due in at 5pm (they'd had it since Thursday).

Got the final version in just after 6....give me strength...:(

Evening Susie! Sounds stressful! Hope you're chilling! Xx

Evening Susie, typical! Hope you are having a calmer evening
Xxx

Evening Soooz... Hope you're able to relax this evening xx

Morning all

Nothing much to report, having a bit of a bah humbug morning - can't wait until my passport comes back and then I can plan a holiday somewhere (probably Provence - some sunshine and lavender, just what I need :))

Enjoy your day

Morning Susie, Hope your passport comes though soon. I had major passport problems (mostly my own doing) after getting it back the first place we went to was Provence. A little medieval village called Uzes.

Hope you have a good day:)

Morning lovely. Your post reminded me of the earlier one about getting academics to a meeting lol.
Provence sounds lovely, hope it arrives soon or you're gonna burn out!

Just sent out the following email to press - yell out Londoners if you'd like free tickets! :)

Godspell and George come to Blackheath Halls

Musical theatre students from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance will demonstrate their wide range of dancing, singing and acting skills in a week of musical performances at Blackheath Halls at the end of March.

Third year students will perform Godspell, the fun modern day retelling of parables from the Gospel according to St Matthew, from Thursday 22 to Saturday 24 March. Godspell opened off Broadway in 1971, and has played in various touring companies and revivals many times since, including a 2011 revival now playing on Broadway. Several cast albums have been released over the years and one of its songs, "Day by Day" from the original cast album, reached #13 on the Billboard pop singles chart in the summer of 1972.

From Tuesday 27-Wednesday 28 March, second year students will perform the musical made famous by Bernadette Peters, Sunday in the Park with George. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Sunday in the Park with George was inspired by the painting "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" by the pointillist artist Georges Seurat.

As the UK's first conservatoire of music and dance, Trinity Laban offers specialist classes in singing, dancing and acting alongside high quality individual vocal training. Trinity Laban graduates appear in Musical Theatre productions in the West End, international and UK touring productions, and film and TV, as well as within the wider entertainment industry.
