Suzyflo's food diary....back on the wagon, target reached, now I need to stay there!!

Hey was wondering how hard is it to stay at target are you still really strict? Not that I'm there yet but I was wondering as I want to prepare for when I get to target so I don't just go yay I can eat whatever now! Xx

The eggs wouldn't have looked so nice if I'd cooked them! they always stick for me and end up mushed up - hubby can do nice fried eggs though (as above) so I leave them to him to do :) I eat loads of eggs too....I have a panic on if we get down to only having half a dozen in the house!!

I still need to be strict with myself at target, unfortunately I'm not one of these lucky people who keeps losing when keeping to the original plan, I can't ever see me getting under the lower target limit, however I would like to get down to the lower end before I go on holiday in June to give me a bit of leeway if I need it, will have to work hard on that though. I will still write everything down and try and stick within my 5-15 syns a day. I'm programmed to the s/w way of eating now as I've done it for so long! Also I'm a serial weigher and I find that keeps me on the right track (although I know I shouldn't really do this!).

I don't ever want to go out of my target range again so I will be as careful as I need to be to stay there.

Hi suzyflo, yup we're doing very well for our age. I bumped into a family who's son I used to coach rugby, they were saying that they spotted me but said it couldn't be me as the person was too young! Their 16 yr old son said I was getting younger! I def don't feel 50 and don't dress like a fuddy 50.

I'm sure you will have a giggle at your reunion and peoples jaws will drop when they see you!


That extra 2lb I put on is starting to get to me, the truth is its 4 pound on from my lowest weight of 12'8.


Having a real busy period at work and home. Didn't get any lunch yesterday, bloody starving.

Oh well, I will crack on.

You are going really well, keep it up.
 
That was a nice compliment that you got, it gives you a great boost and makes you realise how well you've done don't you think?

This 2lb/4lb thing...you can shift it, mind you it won't help if you're missing meals out! Busy or not you still need to make time to eat! You're doing great too :)

Oooh how many syns r those sausages? They sound and look delish! Wish I had the patience to make risotto I can just never be bothered with all that stirring! Xx
 
The sausages are free on green/extra easy, quite tasty. I think its only Asda that sell them though. The risotto was a doddle to make, its a packet one from aldi, 1.5 syns per 100g serving. I just bunged it in a dish in the microwave with 700ml of boiling water for 10-12 mins & stirred half way through...simples!
