Being On plan has paid off :) 1 1/2 off. 3 pounds back to target range 6 pounds to target....can i do it? YES I CAN

Really working on my all or nothing approach slowly but surely.

wednesday green day

small biscuit (the one you get free with coffee) 1 syn

lazy girl chow mein

layered cheese salad (1/2 syn)

treat going to try and make a choc/strawberry roulade should be 5 syns the whole thing !! Divine !! 5 syns very full now !

not that hungry maybe because i ate a lot of roulade late last night !!

syn free day unless something comes up as i am away this weekend and want all syns spare
 
Yesterday was hard and looking back at my planned menu I can see why. No way had a i planned enough food, silly me. I had only 4 hours sleep the night before as well.

So on top of that menu I had

a banana (free)
2 extra scan bran (but i also spread clover on 4 of them) 4 syns?
1/4 cheese sandwich i will say 3 syns as i could use the cheese from my hea (so really 1/2 slice of bread plus a smear of clover)
a few baked crisps ) 1 1/2 syns
a small piece of refrigerator cake counting this the same as a flapjack bite 4 1/2 syns

13 syns not fatal but not the zero i wanted !!

**** all change as running late and had to eat found some tuna skewers in freezer ALL free

dinner at my brother's

may make the roulade for eveyone tonight
if not fruit salad ( unless we go out to dinner)

Wow, I think you did very well with keeping control if you were hungry. In the back of my mind I know that a zero syn day would make me want syns even more (its the rebel inside!), so like you say it needs so much more planning to make sure there's enough food to stay satisfied :)

Hope you have a good weekend and manage to catch up on some sleep too!

Well I am away for the whole weekend at my brother's for a big family bbq so sleep is not something there is going to be a lot of but so far so good on the eating.

Only things added to yesterdays menu was
1 banana (free)
1 cornetto soft ice cream 9 1/2 syns (they have an ice cream machine here for the weekend !!)
olives 1
salad cream extra light 1 tblsp (not sure but i think only 1)

Today will be

5k run
HUGE bowl of fruit and a hi fi (heb)

More fruit

BBQ
chicken kebabs (free)
salad
maybe a kofta (will see what goes in them ...)

syns for the kofta and syns for an icecream, and extra light salad cream ( 9 1/2 + ???)

wholewheat pita (not an asda one but i am tweaking slightly to call this a heb just this once)

It was a great weekend although i am exhausted now LOL But extremely pleased with my eating

Amazing i have had 4 red days in a row !! I think I may try to see if i can do 2 more BUT not putting pressure on myself if they turn into EE

Excellent work on your weekend syns and running! And great that you had a good time too. I've not caught up with your diary for a while, but wow I see you are going red. I went fish shopping last night so I too will be venturing into the red plan or extra easy. I'll be pinching some of your ideas, he he hope you dont mind :)
 
Steal away. I am so proud of how i did last week, until monday and then it all went wrong :-( With school holidays coming up i need to find a better way of dealing with cooking with the kids i take care of.

Monday it was salmon en croute (request of the 7 year old who i swear wants to be the next jamie oliver !!) Which i did not plan on having but the portions he made were too large , i never have worked with puff pastry before and didn't realise how much it 'puffed' so they both had leftovers which I of course had to try and then finish, which would not have been awful had i not also foudn the need to try the vieniese biscuits AND the pastry swirls :-(

Then tuesday baking with the 4 yr old refrigerator cake, cake batter and cake icing all hopped in my mouth. Home scales this morning show me 2 pounds up from yesterday :-( so my hopes of a 1 1/2 pound loss are now looking at 1/2 a pound gain :-(

What is it about getting back to my target range this time, i have been trying most of this year !!!

1/2 on as expected :-(

Now figthing the urge to have a day off but if SW is for life what would a day off achieve? one day/week longer to get back to target? When I eventually get back to target i can then think about having the occasional relaxed day

But first i must get back to target !!

Wednesday
Today I am a bottomless pit !!

I didn't eat this am due to weigh in followed by dentist so didn't eat until 12.30 (not good!!)

since then i have had
one deli cheese square (part of healthy extra a)
1 choc hi fi bar

Huge lazy girl chow mein
2 more hi fi bars !!!!!!!

so I am green with 2 HEB and 6 syns used so far

Before group I am going to have a big bowl of fruit and fromage frais.

After group?
Fancy pasta n sauce but not sure i have any in . So maybe couscous
 
Hello, sorry to hear you had a gain this week, it is a little one though so I'm sure that and more will be gone by next weeks weigh in. The salmon en croute sounds lovely and these things happen!

Well done for not having a day off, brilliant stuff! Hope class goes well and I do hope you have some pasta n sauce at home, it feels like such a treat (I need to get myself some too) :)

We can do this! All the way to target (and beyond)!

Wow a whole week of no diary = half a week of rubbish eating and half a week of writing a paper dairy AND the realisation that when i eat crap i feel like crap and when i eat the SW way i feel fab!

1 pound off this week very very pleased being 100% for last 4 days has me feeling much more positive.

I am on a mission for a month of brutal honesty in a paper diary the good the bad and the ugly.

Will update here when i can :)

I'm glad you're feeling more positive now :) Well done on your pound loss too :) :) :) I feel the same as you in that when I do stay on track I feel fab!!!

You can do it, I'll be looking out for your progress report :)
