if you plan ahead and book in advance you can often get first class rail tickets surprisingly cheaply. Me and a friend travelled from Aberdeen to Newcastle one way, around 5 hours on the train and it was only £26 each 1st class. They never stopped giving us food and drinks on the journey either so it was fab value and so comfy

Evening Texty, just been catching up with your diary. Sorry about the gain once your back from holiday you'll get it off. York is brill I took the BF there for his birthday but that was over 5yrs ago. We had such a giggle, when you get there you can put your OH in the stocks from me for not looking after you better last Friday! But maybe he'll take you somewhere special to make up for it? :serenade: Xxx

I could be totally off here texty, but I sort of think that he has 'grown older' as lots of people do during a 30 year marriage, whereas you have stayed much younger in your attitude to life, or have gotten a new lease of life recently I haven't known you long enough to say which. Anyway perhaps there is some middle ground to be found, I hope so anyway and hope you enjoy York x

12 years here.....
But you know after my first husband died I got braver in my life. I realised how short it was and how little much of what we see around us matters. So when I met My 2nd husband and we clicked, and we were just so good for each other, well I worried for a short while about what people would think and then just thought sod it. We've been together 4 years now and I'm pretty sure the gossip has died down now lol.

Ahh ok I thought it was this weekend!
it will probably be a while before we can get away without the kids again but that's where I have in mind to go!x
