Ahh Sophie - i used to say all sorts to my mum when i was younger "i hate you" "i wish i lived in a different family" and the classic "you're a horrible mum" and i always thought it was just obvious that i was having a tantrum but i remember one day when i was 16 or 17 i was out having a girly day with my mum and she said it really upset her when i used to say stuff like that which just really surprised me. So, as I'm sure you know, all kids say those things to their mums even if, like me, they actually love them to death but I'm sorry you've had a bad day anyway.
When I want to cheat i never really fancy boiled eggs either - you could have a pan fried chicken fillet with spray-light rather than butter (120 cals) or a fish fillet (90 cals) or sometimes when i know I just want flavour and a snack not health food I have a slice of cheddar and eat it really slowly by scraping it with a knife and then sucking the cheese off the knife (sounds gross i know but makes it last for ages and is actually v satisfying...plus I just love cheese and it makes me feel less deprived). Haha as you can see i cheat a lot but you know it doesn't effect the scales that much unless you go much beyond 650 cals a day and/or dip into carbs/sugar. One of my friends on this diet always cheated with apples and bananas thinking it was a healthy way to cheat...de-railed her every time: bacon and crackling fried in butter would be better!
I know how it can get on this diet though: you become a bit afraid of food and think you'll muck stuff up if you give in even a little but you won't - it's fine - loads of people have great weight loss on ss+ so if you need some chicken or something one day to keep you going then it is worth it.
