Day 13: really struggled with gym, did just and hour but mainly weights and school run drama today. Breakfast was salmon (steamed plain) lunch was a shake and dinner went out the window and off course :---(.. Going to try and work harder on day 14 to stick on and stay hydrated as i didn't drink much water today as it was a busy day. Hoping to pre mix my shakes so they are ready on the go. Hopefully i can make a change in the scales come Friday morning. Push push push!!! How everyone getting on??
Day 14: Alot more on a positive note today. Keep carm and laid back today, had black tea (no sugar) and a bar around 7.30am this morning. Still not feeling that hungry so i will stretch out my lunch shake until 2.30pm ish. Drank about a litre of water so far and feeling strong.Did manage to make the gym today but don't feel too bad as my body does need rest as I think the problem started when i was over working myself in my workout made the shakes and bars unstainable. Keeping it mild and sticking to the goal plan... Getting rid of the weight. I think yesterdays miss haps have got me restarting ketosis so its not too bad as Im use to the feeling and know what to expect. Going to hold off gym till Friday and them space them out every other day as opposed to going gym 4/5 days in a row. As before. Keep it up guys!!! Im on the scales tomorrow and feeling a little worried
Hope tomorrow's WI goes well either way just put it behind you and move on, I think every other day for the gym sounds like a good idea don't know where you would get the energy from to do it more than that, hope you are having a good day x
Day 15: Today is WI day, a little nervous but never the less confident i haven't jumped over the scales too much. I would be happy if i was still in the 16st bracket... well I'll let u all know a little later. Take care all xxx
Week 2 WI is a lost of 1lbs:---( now Im 16st 7lbs on week 2. I let myself down Half way in the week and the results show.. Changed my routine and nuckled down on simple things like going to work with no money just a shake a bar and water to avoid temptation... Its frustrating but it helps. Hoping week 3 I can blast my way into the lower 16st Mark (i.e 16st 2/3lbs. learnt from my previous mistakes and now Im pressing onwards and upwards xxx
Don't be hard on yourself mate. 1lb is still a loss and at least you have recognised where you might have tripped yourself up. Even if you only lost 1lb a week for the next year you'd be nearly 4 stone lighter and i'm sure none of us would complain about that.
That's true footie, after looking at the scale i sent my body into shock, i spent 2 hrs in the gym on cardio trying to catch those excess calories. I managed to burn 950kcal. Going to have a day off tomorrow and bring it back to a more sensible cardio session come Sunday morning. Thanks for the support guys. It helped me keep my head up. Xxx mwah Xxx
Day 16: Had a great day yesterday stuck on 100%. The ketosisticks are starting to be promising. Having a day off gym today as its a resting day. Keep it up guys!! xxx
Day 16: Been suffering from headaches for a day solid now. Originaly started from a stuffy noise and a cold. Drinking lots of water and taking painkillers but it seems to be presistant. Hopefully it fades off later today as it effecting my concentration at work :-( also getting cold flushes every so often. Anyone else had a similar experience ?
Day 17: Feeling alot better today. Cold and stuffy nose gone and my head is feeling spot on. Ventured to the gym today had a great session. Jumped on the scale for a cheers peek and the pounds have started rolling back off so Im happy. Now looking forward to my week 3 WI
Day 18: woke up feeling full on energy after drinking God knows how much water last night. Had black tea with a orange and chock bar for my breakfast and off to the gum i went. Had yet another sneaky speek on them scales and Im 16st 4lbs so its moving off. i guess seing that had an effect on my workout as i was out on a mission with my cardio. As i burned 1000kcals today Im going to add a mackrel fillet in (plain steamed) along with my lunch shake to help me from not going too far off course as i have already burnt over my days calories intake. Also needed some extra protein to aid my muscle tone while taking in no extra carbs. Looking forward to Friday WI now hoping i can be within the 15st mark.. Keeping it up guys!!!! Keep on pushing off that weight!!!
Just catching up on some diaries.......... wow, great losses and where do you get the energy for the gymwork?? I think you're right too, sometimes we have to adjust the diet or our expectations to make it work for us! It is the start of long term changes after all Have a lovely 100% day xx
I think its the fact that Im a bus driver so most of my evenings and nights are spent sitting down so i try to compensate for that. As i only work after 3/4pm i can blast the morning away have lunch then sleep. While at work its just a shake and water. However i have found that i am drinking more water at night as come mid night my hunger kicks in as Im still awake and sometimes not finishing until 1/2am. So water is a a trick i use on my stomach so it stays quite while i finish and go sleep. Funny saying that when i wake up the next day Im not starving either?? So its strange but a good trick i use very often when on nights at work. One thing i lack is getting more than 8hrs sleep in one session as i do the school run. After work i may get around 5/6hrs before waking up them in the day i will try sleep for 1/2hrs. As you can image my days off and weekends are a God send
Day 19: Woke up with a spring in my step this morning and ventured back to the gym yet again. I did say a few days ago that i would rest a little but the energy has been here so i thought why not make use of it and burn that fat. Only managed 50mins of cardio and 1hrs of toning. Had to add a portion of steamed mackrel to the diet today as the weight lifting was rather demanding today. Currently feeling a little drain but thats expected. Day off work today so a good night sleep is well in order. That cheeky peek shows another 1lbs. Keep it it up guys
Day 20; With 2 days left to my week 3 WI i'm feeling a little nervous, i have been hitting the gym rather hard the past few days none stop as i felt guilty of my slip up in week 2, Still had energy today so i went off to the powerhouse mainly cardio today as my muscles are on the sore side from yesterdays lifts. I also purchased some scales and it would appear that i have reached somewhere within the target. it was reading 15st 9lbs?????? i stepped on and off about 6 times using the scales upstairs and downstairs. bedroom kicthcen and bathroom and still no change. Sounds convincing but Friday morning gym scales will be the master of the final say... starting to get alot of complements from other folks in the gym along with family and friends. I really can't see where its coming from or that i'm loosing anything. i think i look the same but the scales say otherwise. one thing i notice is that my trouser are not saying on!!!! having to buy belts and maybe a trip to westfields this weekend if i can smash my target of 15st 7lbs.
Day 21: Stuck to the diet today but activity wise and gym did none other than the normal school run. I felt my body was screaming out for a rest so i took it easy today. But as normal Im back on the gym tomorrow as its WI for my week 3 results which Im sure will be interesting.
