Maybe try a different size 10? Sometimes just a different pair in the same size will give just that wiggle room needed (also the only way to get into skinny jean!) x

Good idea, I ordered them mail order, and sent them back, but might head into town and go to the actual shop, it'd be nice to wear a 10 on Hols :)
 
So, woke up at 3am, but managed to go back to sleep, then again at 4.30, and now am getting up at 5.45. Feel ok though, not too tired, probably got 6hrs sleep.

Day 1 of CWP about to start. Felt so rubbish about my jeans yesterday but thinking positively and that in a few short weeks they may even be a bit roomy...

Just had my very first shake- butterscotch. It was an... interesting ... flavour! Had to force the last bit down, and then keep tasting it when it makes an (un)happy reappearance!

I'm hoping the shakes will grow on me, or I find some others that I prefer, or I become immune to their taste!

Does anyone know if muller light yoghurt is allowed on ss+?

bleughhh, I don't much like butterscotch either, and I really struggled with the shakes to start off with. Having them with very cold water really makes them nicer(putting an ice cube in the shaker does the trick) or blending with ice if you have the equipment/effort!

I often wonder If i actually like this stuff or am just used to it! I just live on choc shakes these days, I'm not a big chocolate person but I find them nice, non-offensive and best of all they don't repeat on me!!

Plain yogurt with less than 1% fat can be used as your "milk" allowance, but since mullers are flavoured I'm thinking not, there might be things in them that mess with ketosis - do you like the total 0%? mixed with a bit of shake it's nice.
 
Half way thru Day 2 of CWP today and woke up with a really bad headache. Can't be dehydration coz I had my water allowance properly yesterday... Still managed to go to the gym thinking it'll help a bit which it did but then headache and nausea returned. Did anyone else feel like this in the beginning too? Is this normal and how long does it last?!

Yeah, it can be a side effect of going into ketosis, I don't usually the nausea but I did yesterday! Not fun, but you'll be fine by tomorrow x
 
I love total, and the 0% is nice! I'll try that :) Had the choc for lunch, it was actually ok! Porridge later, we'll see how that goes down...

Had the busiest day at work, but managed to get my water in nevertheless! Not feeling tired or headachy or anything- hope this feeling lasts! If it wasn't for the fact that I've done so much exercise for 5 days on the trot and I might screw up my joints I'd go for a run. Actually, really itching to go... Will go tomorrow though...

Shame Southampton is kinda far from me Ria, would be up for meeting and exploring Indian things with a buddy! You wouldn't stand out, you could just pass as my super fair Indian friend :p

I smell rava halva cooking (indian semolina)- yummy! Will live vicariously off the smell *inhales deeply*

My porridge just exploded in the microwave! 1min was too long! :eek:

Waiting for it to cool... Smells ok thankfully

The maple pecan porridge did not go down well :( I literally couldn't stomach it after a few bites and binned it. The many lumps didn't help.

Oh dear, I hope I find more that I like, or I might just be living off chocolate!

Day 1 has been ok thanks hon :) work was busy which helped, plus I didn't feel too hungry, no headaches or anything. I'm a bit hungry now but that's probably cos I binned most of my porridge! Was watching "the great British bake off" (an old one on "Watch") but had to stop as it was making me crazy looking at the scrummy bread they baked! So I've taken myself off to read away from the tv.

Hows your day been bubbly? What day are you on?
 
Just read your updates Illy. Try soups if the shakes are turning your stomach! You'll get better at making shakes and porridge s etc. it's a skill!!! X

I've got some soups. Just making my way through and trying different thinks to see which I like. Soup is on the menu tomorrow, I think I'll need a bit of distance from the porridge for a couple days before I can tackle a different one! It's definitely a skill I reckon in making them! x



Not much wrong with living off if chocolate - jut picked up my order of 20! :p

Stayed the same.... Better than a gain, back to basics 100% tomorrow for at least a week.

No I haven't been.... May do one day though :)
 
It's 1.50am :( waaaaaaay too early to be awake but I went to the loo and just can't get back to sleep now. Does anyone know any ways to help with sleeping whilst on the plan? I don't sleep so well at the best of times so am not surprised I'm struggling now x

Tried to go back to sleep but it just wasn't happening! So instead of worrying I'm going to get up, and hopefully I'll make it through the day and will sleep better tonight because of it.

Off to watch some (probably extremely bad!) early morning telly, or see what I have recorded more likely! Then spinning before work x
