The Princess Diaries ♥ (DIARY CLOSED - LINK TO NEW DIARY ON LAST PAGE)

You know what you've got to work on and there's only you that can change things. I for one love reading your diary and its upsetting to read how down you are :( I think the guilt thing and not being able to move on from a bad day should be the first thing you should overcome. 1 bad flower doesn't mean to throw the whole bunch away!! Just concentre on one thing at a time x

Ok so as I've promised myself (and you guys!), I'm going to start listing the positives / things that went well each day, in an attempt to lose the guilt and have a more positive outlook. Some days there may only be one or two, others there may be loads. Here goes...

1. I got back on plan.
2. I have been totally honest with the way I was feeling and feel like a huge weight has been lifted. I feel like I can now move on from the last few weeks.
3. I have had a fantastic support network behind me helping me get through this. I can always count on my friends and family, Consultant and lovely Mini's friends.
4. I haven't weighed myself today. And I haven't really thought about it. I haven't felt the need to get on the scales at home.
5. I managed to resist the chocolate muffins that were in the office today for a colleagues birthday.
6. I tried a new Healthy Extra today - a Weight Watchers wholemeal pitta. Very tasty and filling, will definitely have those again.
7. I have managed to use a few Syns without feeling guilty for doing so.

^^^ I'd say that was pretty good for a first day back on plan. And a big turn around from how I was feeling last night / this morning :)

Hey chick,

I don't often post but I always read. You're journey is such an inspirational one because its real. You don't dress it up and make out like this is an easy process, you're honest with the ups and downs and that for me makes your diary such a brilliant and reassuring diary to read.
Please don't be hard on yourself, you're human and this is tough. I lost 3.5st quickly and since Xmas have struggled to get back on track 100% but we're all in this together and I really get that kind of feeling about you.
Take one day at a time, remember how brilliant you look!

Xx
P.s also- I've been looking everywhere for Ww wholemeal pittas- where did you find yours hun?

Aww, your coments made me blub! In a positive way though! It's just so nice to know that there are so many lovely people out there that genuinely care and want to help. It's quite overwhelming. I can't put into words how much the support from you all means, and I will never be able to repay you all. There is absolutely no way I could do this without you.

This week the main thing I'm working on is the guilt, in all senses of the word. I need to tackle my problems one at a time. Once I have conquered one thing I will move onto the next. I won't let these things get the better of me. This is just a little set back, it's not for good.

Regarding the WW pittas, I got mine from Tesco! I think it's quite hit and miss though. I went one night last week and there were none. Went again this morning and there was a shelf full! Our Tesco is useless though, it never has anything in.

Thank you both again so so much xx

I've seen the wholemeal ww pittas in my tesco too. I've got a pack of the old asdas ones somewhere in the freezer but I know we ain't allowed them anymore so they're just sat in there lol x

Good to hear you're back on track and sounding very focused! :) xx

Helloo! Don't worry I'm still here, I haven't fallen off the wagon just yet :giggle:

I'm late posting today as I've been out of the office all morning. I've been to one of the infant / junior schools helping out with a MEGA Motion walk to school and assembly. It was such good fun! I work for the council and my team is close with the Sustainable Transport team. They needed people to help out so I said I would. They do walks to school every Friday (Thursday this week with it being the bank holiday), as a way of promoting being active and healthy and also safe usage of the roads. Once a month it has a special theme which is chosen through a competition that the pupils take part in - today's theme was "Sportacus" from LazyTown. There was an actor playing the part of Sportacus and leading the walking trains, and then the kids, teachers and us lot dressed in our sports gear! Everyone made so much effort and we all got to school safely and on time.

After the walk to school there was an assembly and Sportacus told his story and got kids up to the front to take part too. I dressed up as Max Motion who is the original character behind the MEGA Motion campaign, and a colleague dressed up as SAM (Sixty Active Minutes) - the kids absolutely loved it!! Max is basically a giant medal, and Sam is a stopwatch. We had our photo's taken so once I get hold of it I'll share it with you all.

It was just so refreshing to see so many happy little faces. They were absolutely over the moon to see us there - waving, high-fiving and hugging us. Little peeps are so cute!!

So really feeling quite positive after that morning. It has made me smile :)

Didn't have time for breakfast with all of that going on this morning, so have just had an apple to keep me going. Going to pop out to the little Tesco over the road from work in half an hour or so and get some lunch.

Morning Stevie - what a wonderful start to your day!!

Deffo want to see photos lol

Have a lovely Easter weekend xx

Yes it's really perked me up!! There is no nicer sound than children laughing. A smiley, happy face is sometimes all it takes to turn things around.

Hope you have a lovely Easter too, whatever you are doing! Enjoy :) xx

^^ As promised! That's me in the yellow :giggle:

Oh my! Lol!

Surprised the pic of the child is allowed to be circulated....thats my safeguarding head on lol x

Oh. Never thought of that. Maybe I'll take it down? It was on the MEGA Motion FB page so I just stole it from there. Oops. Feeling a bit naughty now xx

That is a great photo and I can totally see why the experience cheered you up! Looking goood haha! You going wear that on the town some weekend? Hehe;)

You are so disciplined with your good! I've notices you don't use a lot of codiments and sauces. In your kebab was it literally just pita with salad inside? I find i need something moist, or some chicken or something.

Well done for being so honest about everything, you are doing so well and are a huge inspiration to us all!

Oh Stevie!! That has made me chuckle!! All that effort to lose weight then they go and put you in something like that, ha ha!

You're a little superstar!

Lmao I know!! Cheeky so and so's :giggle: One of my colleagues actually joked and said you should do a before and after pic with it lol! xx

It was such an amazing experience. I love seeing little peeps so happy and excited. Makes me feel all warm inside :) They do the themed walk / assembly once a month so I've told them that whenever they need a hand to count me in!! Great fun.

I can tell you now I haven't been that disciplined lately. The last few weeks have been terrible, but I think the gain on Tuesday was the kick up the backside I needed. The week has been really easy so far, but I know the hard work begins tomorrow as I'm off work and out of routine. The good thing is I'll be getting up and going to the gym 9-11 so that should keep me out of trouble for a few hours at least!

My kebab was so nice!! I marinated a chicken breast with Aromat, ground cumin, a little ground ginger and some garlic & chilli flakes. Popped it in a pan with FryLight and let it cook on the highest temperature before slicing. It always comes out delicious - I sometimes make a warm salad with it too. The spices go all charred and lovely, yum yum!! I find that there was enough flavour in that and the fresh salad that I didn't really need any sauce, the chicken was so juicy.

Thanks for your lovely, kind words. It really does mean so much! xx

I notice you dont use much sauce either, dont know how you do it lol, i love sauces, my bf used to say im obsessed and give me the extra sauce ha, i love sweet chilli mixed with greek yougurt for my jacket etc :) x

In all honesty I'm not a great lover of sauces! The smell alone of tomato ketchup / brown sauce makes me wretch, yuck! The only condiment I really like is mayo, but I only like the full fat variety - none of that lighter than light rubbish! And it's so high in Syns. I don't like to use my Syns for things like that, it feels like I'm wasting them. I'd rather have a nice piece of chocolate, or a drink or two ;) I do like sweet chilli though! I sometimes have that. But I tend to use a lot of spices and herbs in my cooking so I find things already have enough flavours going on. Do like the sound sweet chilli and greek yogurt to make a JP filling. Will give that a go! xx

Looks like you had a fun day!

are the galaxy bubbles hot choc nice? I was going to buy the orange one from asda but keep forgetting. X

It really was great fun!! Hoping to do it again soon :)

I've not tried the hot chocolate yet. I'm keeping it for about half an hours time and I'm going to have my Special K bar with it as a sweet treat before bed. I usually stick to either Options or Highlights hot chocolate, but noticed the Galaxy Bubbles was the same Syns! I love Galaxy so thought I'd give it a go, although I've gone for the plain chocolate one rather than chocolate orange. Will let you know how it is xx

Okay, so here go my positives for today...

1. I had a lovely morning at the school which left me feeling positive and in a really great mood for the rest of the day.
2. I took part in a walk to school, adding that extra little bit of Body Magic to my week!
3. Although I skipped breakfast and didn't have chance to eat anything until 11.30am, it didn't throw me off plan. I stayed strong and had an apple to tide me over until lunch.
4. I did a 45 minute "Bums, Legs & Tums" class at the gym.
5. I made a new yummy tea tonight - "fakeaway" chicken kebab, yum!!
6. I still have my HExA, HExB and Syns left and am just about to enjoy a milky hot chocolate and Special K bar before bed, knowing there is no work alarm in the morning :)
