Third Time Lucky...!

Ah no! That's the only thing about doing it yourself I guess, not sure I'd dye my own hair blonde I'd be too scared!
 
I did it for three years so thought I would be fine! Oh well!

Food has been good today. I got up late so didn't have breakfast. Dinner was delicious - two crumpets with butter, two fried eggs and some chorizo. Bit random but it was delicious!

I did week 2 resistance of kettleworx so finished week two now. I started on 3kg and have now gone to 4kg so it bloody killed!!

Having film night tonight so have some skittles and a ripple - within cals tho!
 
That's good planning then. You'll soon get used to the 4kg and move up to 5, you'll be surprised how quickly you'll go through them. Good luck with the hairdresser!
 
I've lost 6lb in 5 days - I think a mixture of water weight and kettlebells and eating well!

So after my horrible realisation that I actually weighed 10lbs more on my new scales, I have lost 6 of those so doing pretty well!

I'll be good today - going to get my hair cut and then I'll do kettlebells when I get back. Not sure what to do - I would start my new kettlebell week in Monday - but I'm away until Thursday. So, not sure if I want to start week three today, knowing I can't do it again until Thursday or Friday, or do one of those extras they have - fast abs or the other one. Anyone done those?

Food will be good today. Film night again tonight so will let myself have something. Everyone else gets huge bags of sweets and choc and crisps so I will get myself something small.

Tomorrow I should be fine.

Monday I am going to Cardiff - ill be going out at night so lots of drinking. Hopefully lots of dancing too though. I'll have a sensible breakfast and take lunch with me but not sure what we are having for tea.

Tuesday we will be hungover I expect! An going away with my brothers so we will probably have to eat out. I'm going to try not to have breakfast - not the best idea but it'll save me some cals for the evening. Hopefully we will go shopping during the day so will have a good walk. I think we may go to Hooters for dinner!

Wednesday we are coming back home so I will probably have a breakfast, and try to last until I get home for lunch.

I'm then going to the cinema with my ex (probs a bad idea!) and dinner I think so not sure what tea will be.

So I have a busy week ahead!
 
That's an AMAZING loss, well done! I've done both the extras, they're good. You could always do that and start the next week when you're back. Hope you have a good week!

I haven't done the extras yet, but have quickly watched them and they look really good. I would be tempted to do what Caroline suggested and do the extras and start a new week when you get back.

It's not often I actually sit down at my computer and log on here - I usually use the app on my phone.

I'm watching The Biggest Loser at the moment - the current one in the US. I downloaded the episodes and am currently on episode 2. They are at the supermarket and are looking at foods and what they used to eat and how they can adapt it now - why do they not do this on the UK version?!

The UK version just seems to focus completely on exercise and I hate that they get them to eat food but then advertise a shake diet - what a good way... not.

Another thing I have notived, the challenge I am currently watching gives a prize of six months of food delivered to their door - they give decent prizes which will actually help them afterwards!

Anyway...... BL rant over!

Food wise...... Today has been not great. I had crumpets with spread and marmite for breakfast - that's what I usually have and I love it. Fills me up and keeps me going. Lunch was my usual wrap and crisps - again, fills me up and fits in with my daily calories.

My friend bought me a bag of mini eggs and I ate them all. Wasn't planning on doing any exercise but decided to do some kettlebells to hopefully counteract my eggs!

So, I did the fat burn one - found it really hard! Harder than the usual cardio ones! Athough that may be because I am feeling the burn from yesterday!

For dinner I am having the same as I had for dinner yesterday. Bit random - two crumpets with spread, two fried eggs and six slices of chorizo! I'm going to have some garlic mushrooms with it too - use spread and garlic paste and it's pretty low cal!

I then have some Skittles for when I watch a film later too - shouldn't have them really but everyone else is gonna be having pizza, popcorn, crisps, choc and sweets so I'm better off leeting myself havea small bag of Skittles than sharing theirs!

I did my measurements today - that's ten days after I last measured and one week of Kettleworx later -

This really is turning in to an essay! It's good to get things written down though!

I managed to get my hair fixed at the hair dressers and I feel much more confident already - always did with my blonde hair.

I've been looking at dresses for my Dad's wedding as I'm allowed anything apparently! I've been looking for dresses that I can wear with no tights - so I'm looking at ones just above the knee - quite a big thing for me as I have always hated my legs but I am going to get a spray tan a few days before and hopefully be a few lbs lighter!

That'll do for now.... until next time I manage to get on my laptop!
 
I've been getting in to the biggest loser that is on in the US at the moment. Love that they have made each week focus on an excuse we give for not losing weight!

It's motivating me as I wasn't going to exercise today but I think I will now!

Went shopping and bought some of the sugar free marshmallows - I had them before but couldn't trust myself! Would eat the whole bag! But I'm going to try to keep them for hot choc- so bought some options hot choc too.

I felt really confident walking around sainsburys! Loved it- my dress looked nice, my hair looked nice, and I got a few nice looks from men! ;)
 
We are actually very good at making excuses....
No money..... Exercise doesn't have to cost money, walking and cycling are free
No time .... We seem to make time for every one else
Generally CBA. Don't have a come back for that....
All of the above have been excuses for me in the past, until now!
 
Yay I exercised! Biggest Loser motivated me... only did 15 mins but was 300 cals burned on Kettleworx. I'm feeling good!

Been trying to plan for my trip to Cardiff. Went to Sainsburys and picked up a few things to help me out. My brothers will probably want to eat out more so my plan is...

Monday
B: 2 x crumpets, spread and marmite - (205)
L: will be in the car so... wrap and crisps (402)
D: no idea! We are drinking so I am going to suggest we just grab a quick bite from somewhere - I'll try to get Subway - have it all planned! Just checked the Subway website and it says 356 for a 6" sweet chicken teriyaki sub with cheese, so I'll have that with a packet of crisps (451)

That takes me to 1058 for the day but I am drinking in the evening too.

Tuesday

L: Subway again! Would ideally have something else but I think it is best to have a cheap and healthy option and this is definitely readily available. (453)
D: Think we may go out for dinner here... maybe to somewhere like TGI Fridays or Hooters! (with my brothers!) but I might try to persuade to go to Nandos. I know I can get my favourite meal there for 745 cals which is quite good really!

That would take me to 1430 for the day, and I'm sure we will be walking around a lot.

Wednesday

L: not sure... not sure when we are driving home. Probably after check out at 11, so not entirely sure. If I can, I'll get Subway or a Boots meal deal or something!
D: I think I'm going for dinner with my ex - no idea where. But he is usually trying to be healthy so hopefully we can go somewhere healthyish! Then cinema... and I know I'll be OK there... never really fancy anything they sell.

So.... there we go! Sound like a good plan? Let's hope I stick to it!

I usually get to this weight and then something like a trip away, or a few nights out, gets in the way and pushes me back and I am determined not to let this happen this time!

I had a brill time away in Cardiff - wasn't perfect with food but I think I actually was ok overall and we did a fair bit of walking too.

Today I am back at home so being perfect again.

B: lucky charms and skimmed milk (I am in love with lucky charms! Spent £8 on a box!!)

L: wrap with Philly and salami, Pom bears and a mousse

S: milky way

E: walk and kettlebells

Not sure what to have for dinner - have plenty of cals so probably a pie and mash combo!
 
Yes had a brilliant time!

Did Cardio week 3 today so am going to try to do core and resistance before Monday as I want to start week 4 then. I hurt a lot when doing the exercise but not too much afterwards - I feel I should ache more but I am really putting my all in to it, and I can't use a higher weight physically atthe moment.

Food has been good today. I just finished the day with 8 sugar free marshmallows melted in the microwave! Bit random but was really nice and only 40 cals!
 
Sounds like a good day, well done. How are you liking Kettleworx?
 
That's what I love about kettleworx too! Just one more and I'll have finished the 6 weeks, trying to decide what to do next, start again or move on.
