Third Time Lucky...!

How's it going hun?

As you all know, I have been calorie counting for about 2 years now and have lost about 3 stone. However, this was all in the first 6 months really and since then I have been at uni and finding CCing really difficult - I have managed to maintain, which I am pleased with, as it seems like everyone else here has put on at least a stone! But, I need to lose this weight, I really need it off. It is upsetting me a lot and I still have 2 years left at uni once this year is over and I don't want to go on as I have been.

So... although I know that CCing is the best way to lose weight, I have just ordered a month's worth of Exante. It is not something I ever thought I would do but I think if I can just try it, and kick start some weight loss again, then maybe I can come back to CCing.

Just want to thank you all for all your support - and I am still going to keep this diary if people don't mind!

:)

Course we don't mind. You need to do what feels right for you hun, so if you wanna give exante a go then do it. I really hope it works for you, if not then just get your bum back to ccing. Maybe your body just needs that little push that exante will give you.

Sorry things have been difficult at uni. Hope things start to brighten up this week. :) xxx

As Squeezy said, of course we don't mind. You have to do what's right for you. I personally don't agree with diets like that LONG term but as a kick start they can be great and could be just what you need to help you get on track. Good luck with it, not sure I could do it anymore!

Hi here to follow I've just posted a diary in the healthy eating section as that is what I'm doing although I'm cal counting to just keep me on track and not going mad as I'm used to having rules! Your doing great just wanted to say hi

Good luck chick. Hope it works :)

Is it replacing all your meals? So no proper food, just packs?

Wow good luck! Totally dunno how people do that. The only reason i can do ccing is cos i can have what i want if i watch portions. Telling myself i can't have nothing would send me doolally! You starting tomorrow then? How long you doing it for?

Good luck! The first few days are hardest but after that it does get a lot easier, honest. If you're struggling, come and talk to us! I've been there before so know what it's like. My biggest piece of advice is drink lots, helps with the side effects of ketosis like headaches, which some people get.

I hate water on its own and I think that is going to be the biggest challenge because I can't mix it with squash! Ahhhh!

I had a bit more time this morning so I am having a strawberry shake - a very lumpy one! I don't have a whisk... Uh oh!

I do have a blender at home so I'll be fine when on placement.

Then a bar for lunch and a soup for dinner.

Strawberry shake was ok - not as nice as a frijj!! Haha

Does it fill you up til your lunch time bar? Also you might as well get a cheap whisk. Id get all the kit i could to make summat like that as easy as i could lol.

Good luck honey, keep posting, don't think you can't talk to us cos your doing something different. Looking forward to seeing your results :) xxx

It's never your last chance. As long as you're alive there will be chances, so make the absolute best of this one but remember there are lots of paths to the same goal and you'll get there as long as you keep going. Good luck!
