So today is the last day of the Salad Challenge. I wont be able to post my results until next week as I have this week booked as holiday. I am starting another week tomorrow with a few of my mins friends. I am going to change the guidelines slightly just to turbo charge those losses. I will be posting the new guidelines up in a bit. :D

Linda a couple of us are starting the challenge from next week, I start tomorrow, a fresh week. I am changing the guidelines slightly to further boost our losses. I will be posting them up later tonight. Have a read through, if your still keen then let me know and I will add your name to the list hun :) xx

Thx Kay - not sure how I'll wake up in the morning - and not sure whether to do something strict to recover whatever gain I'll have or go more gently - but either way - crossing fingers that whatever 2moro brings - I can stop the rot!! Of course I know it's only me that can sort it!! Good luck to u all on the challenge!!
 
UPDATED GUIDLINES

We are restarting the Salad Challenge from next week. I have amended the guidelines slightly to boost our losses further :p. Here they are :-

1. THE PLAN - The plans will alternate from RED DAYS to GREEN/EE DAYS and they must be followed in the sequence set out in the spreadsheet.

2. CARBS - This is a low carb challenge, the days you are allowed carbs is set out in the spreadsheet.

3. WATER - I have increased this to 2.5 litres a day minimum. (The more you drink, the more you shrink :D) You can have nas squash, but carbonated drinks are not part of the 2.5 litres.

4. BODY MAGIC - I have increased this to daily where as before it was on alternate days. A minimum of 30 mins a day is required. (Vonnie you've just had your op, please only do the exercises the doc has given you ).

5. SALT - Try and have your salad without salt and keep salt low the rest of the week.

6. SALAD - At least one meal a day must be salad and it has to be a maincourse not a side to go with something else.

7. SYNS - I have lowered these from 10 to 8 only maximum a day.

I weigh-in on Weds Kay ;) Gonna read the thread for info & inspiration!!

Issy the thread is too long to read and u might fall asleep lol, I have just summarised it in my last post hun, feel free to ask me any questions if you have any. Also what day would u like to start ? you'll need to buy some salad stuff first xx
 
Linda :), I've just posted the new guidelines hun, I hear you when u say u might not want to be having a strict week. If you feel like reverting back to the previous one that's fine too hun, its a bit more flexible. I'll wait for you to get back to me when your ready lovely xx

I'm up for it Hun,
Did panic bit bout the exercise then read your little addition, Thank you ,
I do my exercises every hour 6 diff exercises of 6 reps , I know it prob only takes 10 mins each hour but over the day it will give me over 30 mins, but it's not very calorie burning ,
and I want to start on my crunches again ,

Take it easy Vonnie and go with the docs advice :), but I think u will smash the rest of the challenge ! :D How do u like the rest of it, do u think the changes will boost our losses ? xx

I think so yea,
Body magic got to help and upping the water will help flush toxins as well as filling us up,
I'm excited :)

Ah that's not too bad Kay! I'm already doing almost an hour exercise everyday at the moment and never add salt to my meals anyway. But the red / green days and low carb will definitely make a difference!

Il take it easy with regard to my knee but I tried crunches and didn't pull or jolt my knee , I do them on the couch with my knees slightly bent, it hurts my back too much on the floor, And this still gives a good pull on the stomach muscles Sent from my iPhone using MiniMins

I know you'll do smashing on it Ruby, u lost a whopping 5.5lbs last time ! :eek: :D Superwoman ! :superwoman: I've put u down to start on Monday, hope I got your weigh in day right ? xx
