Tinytootz rant-and-involve-some-food diary

But I bet it tasted like gooey warming goodness whilst you ate it :)

I'm a bit dodgy with creamy things, they can make me feel a bit *blergh* afterwards. I've just had some failed pasta bake, but it wasn't too nice, so the rest is going in the bin (or to the dog), and gonna do some SW wedges with baked beans I think. Need to save my HE's for tea.

Hope its just a sicky feeling and nothing more. Bet philly would make a lovely garlic mushroom dish. Shame I hate mushrooms :D

I wish I would stop getting a bad stomach! It's not bunged up, it's not the other, its a bit of both! Had stomach cramps and the works last night, and, well, wind that smelt like death. Still got a sore stomach this morning. I'm chucking the pasta out incase that was the culprit, but everything has been stored properly, so it's not food poisoning. I'm also wondering if it's the apple and kiwi, as I know apples are like a major super speed for me. So today (Thurs) I'm gonna skip the apple and kiwi, have some veg with lunch instead, and have some blueberries. Still having at least 1 glass of water a day, just don't like feeling poorly.

Foolishly jumped on the Wii this morning - 1lb up. Bit bummed, but I KNOW I have stuck to plan this week (apart from 2 syns) and your weight fluctuates throughout the week. And my bad tummy won't be helping much!

So far, at the min, I'm thinking Toad in the hole on Saturday, Chili Con Carne on Sunday, and then fish on Monday. It might change into sausage and mash, and cottage pie yet! So it looks like EE, EE and red to me, or maybe Red, Red and Red, depending on what I have for lunch :)

Will be out for lunch on Friday (as usual) so I'm weighing up my options. I will *try* and push for a jacket potato place, but my chances are slim! If we go the chippy, I'm thinking chicken donner and salad. If we go McDonalds, then I'm screwed. Possibly chicken nugget happy meal with fruit bag, or salad :(. If we go Burger King, then I am proper screwed. If KFC, then a boneless box, give OH popcorn chicken as I don't like it anyway. We don't normally go anywhere else really. But if we do, then I know the drill - jacket potato if it's there, or WM sandwich with chicken or the like. As you can tell, I am DESPERATE to lose this week!

Seems Saturdays are my down days. This Saturday especially - working 11am-7:30pm, then 10pm-3am. OH has to get up at 6am to get the bus to work, and I feel so bad for it. It's only 20 minutes earlier than Mon-Thurs, but it seems to effect him, and in turn, me. Proper gloomy day. The weather is grey, not quite rain, but not dry. I think it's cold, but the thermostat is telling me otherwise. Had to do a wash, and put it out inside on a rack. It'll take days to dry, as there is no heating on, and I can't put it out as it will drizzle for sure.

So yeah, thought I would use this little box here to rant a little. All I want to do is eat in a stupid attempt to cheer myself up. But I know it won't, it will only make me feel worse. So far, I've caved in and had a mini milk.

We went to the dogs home yesterday. OH wants another dog, and I'm ok with it. So along we went, and we saw a beautiful German Shepherd, which OH fell in love with. But as we had Hugo, they insisted we brought him along. So we went and got him, and Hugo barked at every person we saw, and when introduced to the GS, he barked, snarled and foamed at the mouth. So we were told it was a no go. The drive home was awful. OH was silent, I was crying, it pretty much tainted the day.

We then went to do some shopping. OH is insistent that we go swimming, so we went to get some swimwear. We bumped into his daughter and his grandparents when out, so his daughter wanted to come with us. I know she is his daughter, and I know she wants to spend time with him, but, I dunno. We get 1 day a week together, and I guess I get a bit miffed when our plans are sidelined. I know he feels the same, but he won't say it. We see her every Friday, and that I am fine with. But we went to take her back at 4pm, so we could get on with what we were wanting to do, but nobody was home, so we had to sideline that too. Then we get home eventually at about 7:45, walk the dog, then we finally get time alone at about 9pm, but have to sleep early as he is up at 6am. So our Friday was spent not doing what we wanted, or needed to do. I dunno. Perhaps its because I am feeling gloomy, and perhaps I am being overly selfish. We are taking her swimming next Friday in the morning, in an attempt to have the rest of the day to ourselves. His idea and words, not mine. It wouldn't be so bad, but she is so shy, she hardly speaks. She has been saying she wanted her ears pierced for ages, so I said we should do that. OH asked her, and she said she didn't want them done, so of course we didn't get them done. When she got home, her great nan asked her if she wanted them done, and she said yes. Asked her why she had said no, and she shrugged her shoulders. So I'm kinda hoping our plans next week are possibly go swimming, get some lunch, perhaps get her ears done, take her back, head home, have an afternoon nap, then we can stay up a bit later. Oh, we also have to pick up some birds to breed.......
I don't resent his daughter at all, not one bit. I think its the fact we have one day off a week, we enjoy each others company, and sometimes timings, and the fact he doesn't arrange anything (like telling his grandparents we will be back at 4pm, or the like) seems to throw everything else out the window.

Money is also a mini issue. I don't have a lot, he doesn't have lots. He often spends his money on me, which makes me uncomfortable. But then, I end up spending more when we go food shopping or the like, and I pay for the petrol *we* use, and the parking, and stuff, so it's almost like I am buying myself the things he buys. It's a mini niggle really. I use about £20 a week in petrol for us, but then he buys a weekly bus ticket for £18 to get him to work and back. So does that make us even? I spent £30 in Morrisons last night on stuff, much of which was stuff he picked up. He said he would give me £10 towards it, but it hasn't materialised, and I doubt it will. Even if I mentioned it, his reply would be along the lines of "well, I bought......for you", not in a nasty way. So I guess I will have to let it slide. Yesterday I spent about £100, lord knows what on! £25 petrol and some drinks, £30 Morrisons, £5 lunch, £20 Sports Direct, £10 Matalan and £15 on a shelf. OK, so that's where it all went! I need to stop spending so much. The £20 petrol will have to stay, need to stop buying bits for the house, and no more clothes. Infact, I have about £11 to return to Sports Direct, and £17 to Primark, so I guess that helps :)

There's ANOTHER two pizzas in the fridge from his nan, and a pack of sausages, some sandwich steak and an Ugo's panini. So I better offload the pizzas on mother again, the sausages can stay for OH (or offload on mum), steak in the freezer, and the panini, dunno!

That's a long ranty post. And it has no conclusion really. But it did keep me and my brain occupied for a bit, and helped me to possibly work out why I feel like I do.

Monday, oh Monday, how I dislike thee! Can't stop yawning. At least work wise Mondays ain't so bad - lots of little breaks between shifts - me likey.

Praying for a loss this week. Yes, I am possibly over my syns for the day and the week in total, but a loss would still be a nice way to start my restart :)

16/8/11

Weetabix - HE
Milk - HE

Leftover chilli and rice

Aero caramel mousse - 4.5

It'll be the usual wine later, will try and keep it low again.
* half a bottle of wine, and one 25ml vodka - oopsie - 13 and 3

OH is cooking, but he is being a mard about it. I asked what he was doing, and he says he doesn't know, but whatever he does will be a disaster.
FFS, last week was my fault! I thought it was pasta bake, it was veg bake, so didn't work. Therefore we had pasta and sauce packs. He should really have got over it by now. He seems to be in a mardy mood today, but alas, I'm not feeling overly sympathetic. Had a series of nightmares last night, which has set me up for a funny day, they always effect me.

*ended up randomly with sausage, bacon and cheese sandwiches! So......
2x WW sausages - 1
Trimmed bacon
2x WM bread
Cheese

Now, if I make it a red day, then I can use the WM and cheese as HE, and syn the rice for lunch. Well, either way I went over today. Oh well eh!

Congrats on your loss that's fab!!

Thankies :)

I'll update last nights diary in a min. It ain't pretty!

I have parents coming by for tea on Sunday. I'm working till 5am Sat night/Sun morning, then starting again 8am-6pm, so I need something pretty simple. I was thinking Jambalaya, but it takes a bit of watching over, a REALLY big pan, and I would have to buy in most of the stuff as we are short, so whaddya think to:

Starter: Either home made tomato soup, french onion soup or some kinda chicken or prawn salad
Main: Chilli con carne, rice, jacket potatoes, veg
Dessert: Fruit salad, maybe a crumble too.

At least with a chilli and jackets, I can make the chilli in the morning, and the jackets won't ruin if they sit in the oven for too long. Fruit salad can be made in advance, and the crumble, I'm undecided on yet. Actually, there's a cherry pie in the freezer which needs eating.....I could just use that, with the fruit salad, and some squirty cream and low fat custard....
The chilli might have to be made with full fat mince though, as ex lean is quite expensive, and I will be feeding 5 adults. I'll pour the fat off it anyway, but I'm always one for trying to keep the costs down!

Oh I give up! Size 14 slazenger swimsuit was a teeny bit big. Swapped for the 12, and it's a teeny bit too small. Sports Direct don't have changing rooms, so I have to take them back and get a credit note. I fancied having a day in today, but no, off to Matalan I go to get a swimsuit that I am happy-ish in for Friday morning. *sigh*

Not great news really. I hate swimwear, and am genuinely dreading Friday. Bought another one from Matalan today. Still not happy with it, but I figured I never will be! Would buy a shaping type one, but I'm kinda hoping it won't fit for too long, so would be a bit of a waste of pennies. At least the Matalan one has a bit of space for boobies, the sports ones don't at all, and squish you down like nothing on earth! I know that if you look confident, then peeps don't stare so much, but its difficult to feel confident in soggy lycra!

Food wise, not been that well behaved. Baked some biscuits for OH and some cakes, and had about 3 little biscuits. Also had a few crisps. Dunno why, just nibbley today it seems.
