Tipperary will rock 2025

Anyway, reality time again. I have just weighed in and am a massive 76.7kg BMI 33.64 with a waist of 104cm, that's 41".
Feel like a whale and my face and abdomen all bloated. I would like to drop at least 2kg before the job...hard for me but now I have a very definite focus. And 2 inches from my abdomen so that trouser buttons don't pop.
Had soup and home made pitta made yesterday and have enough for today. Also have some puy lentils cooking and plan on making some Vietnamese rice paper rolls. That should sort out meals for a few days.
Two outings planned in next two weeks, well it is St Patrick's Day today but nothing planned for that but off to Dublin for a show tomorrow with daughter 2 and had planned on dinner out after. Then next weekend is darling husbands birthday. We are thinking about going away for a night or two as it will be the last chance we get before October.
Hmm, need to try very hard.

You could try no carbs and lots (and lots) of leafy greens.

Don't have any bread, pitta, potatoes or pasta/rice for a few days and stick to soup and smoothies made from cabbage/spinach/kale etc - and no vino :(. Oh and no/little dairy.

I know when I have SW Speed Protein days, which is low carb, I do feel a lot less bloated and do better come WI day.

Thanks, as I don't eat much meat at all I find with no carbs I am starving. So trying to make sure they ate at least healthy carbs. Have homemade wholewheat pitta bread and soup today and some lentils too.

I lost a week somehow, I don't have 2 weeks to start the job...I have one week. It starts 26th March, that's very soon to get references and security clearance sorted.
Been out for two walks today.
Deliberately not staying over in Dublin tomorrow night so that I avoid food and drink temptations.

Morning, well I drove up to Dublin yesterday and home again. It was snowing going up so a slow drive and unsure if I was going to.turn back. I was given tickets at Christmas to see Thriller Live yesterday and was meeting daughter 2 there. We originally where to see the show, have dinner and stay overnight but changed it to meet for lunch, see the show ( a matinee) and then I would drive home. Left home at 11am and back at 9 pm.
We had lunch at Wagama, I had udon noodles with chicken, I left half the noodles but picked all the veg out of it, and we shared some chicken gyoza. We also shared some crisps and chocolate during the show, we were very restrained towards what everyone else was eating.
I haven't looked out the window yet but the snow had gone when I got home last night and I am.hoping it isn't back.
I would love to go swimming today, it is a bank.holiday here so the pool.could be crowded.
Have a nice day.

Show was good but not great, the first half much more Motown and Jackson five but the second half was much better. Though I did say some bits I felt like it was x factor live auditions.
Have another interview on Friday but will cancel it, it is only part time and self employed contract work.and training overlaps with airport training. And it also needs lots of advance references and security checks, I don't want to piss off my referees. Then another Tuesday week, which is second day of new job training. Its for the health board and I've been waiting a long time to be called to it so trying to see if I can wrangle it somehow.

I'm sure you can have a can't miss doctor's appointment or something :).

Shame about the show, you made me laugh re the X Factor comments :D :D.

The show was good....and I'm glad I went but also glad I didn't pay for it or spent ages looking forward to it. It did show me that we should do more of that.

Well I was "almost good" yesterday especially considering it was a bank holiday here. I spent all morning sorting out and washing/drying/ironing all my clothes. I will have two weeks of full on training and need very respectable corporate type clothes for it. I also sorted out all my make-up and made it easy accessible rather than in lots of bags and organised "control my hair" products.

Had a good breakfast and late lunch and went for a walk. I set my app at 4km but took a different route, it was vey sunny and I was going downhill so went for 2.5km before I turned back, of course that meant uphill all the way back but well you have to get back don't you. Legs and bum felt the workout so hopefully will have some effect and even if I don't lose inches that I will be a bit more able for days on my feet and random walking.
When I got home son decided to go to local pub at the lake for dinner and asked if I wanted to go, I declined (husband went) and had four fishfingers and a teeny bit of pasta for dinner. I had made some fresh pasta as we had an egg glut then rolled it as lasagne and then made vegetarian baked lasagne with tomoto, cauliflower, carrot and peppers...no cheese. I cut and froze these but had a teeny bit left that wouldn't fit in the container so heated this to go with the fishfingers. Then as it was a bank holiday and I had control of the TV I put on Project Runway and had two glasses of wine. However I also had 4 digestive biscuits and 6 chocolate buttons.

I've had porridge and about to have a buckwheat pancake and two vegan sausages. I've to go to town and wont be back till after 1pm, I don't want to get hungry there and be tempted to buy something to eat. Then back home and spend the afternoon trying to sort out my security clearance for new job. Ive to give a detailed breakdown of my work in the past 5 years and as most of it is contract work it isn't easy. I need to find old records and receipts and then get each employer to write a letter to say I worked and also (the most difficult) find a reference for the time I wasn't working and this needs to be from very specific public figures.

This week I also need to get shocks changed o my car and take it for NCT retest, get my bike to Limerick for a service, find money to renew my leisure centre subscription and get to Dublin. My Aunt is home from Australia for a funeral and I would like to see her.

Off to make breakfast, have a great day everyone, it is really sunny here today and you can really see the stretch in the day now.

Phew, that was a busy day. I have officially accepted the job. I got confirmation from all my old employers today that they will confirm I worked for them and got all other letters needed.
Called into leisure centre to see about renewing my mbership, its up on Friday. They have a special offer available and I can pay in two bits...perfect.
Going to Dublin to see aunt on Thursday and out for dinner on Friday for husbands birthday.

Anyway, reality time again. I have just weighed in and am a massive 76.7kg BMI 33.64 with a waist of 104cm
Want to lose 2kg in 2 weeks.

Just weighed in and am 75.7kg BMI 33.20
That's a loss of 1kg so far, so happy with that.
However its exercise I really need, walking helps but cycling and swimming really help.with the stubborn inches stuck ony thighs, upper abdomen and arms. My pool membership is up this week but they have a special offer on and I can pay in two instalments so will try to.get in.
Stuck at home today though as car at garage and in Dublin all day tomorrow.
Planning on making cauliflower and brocolli soup and I have an ALDI Slimwell sweet potato curry out for lunch ( was meant for yesterday) I think its the ALDI version of SW.

Just in from a cycle, a short 7km but definitely a start. Happy with the weight loss 1kg in 4 days but its inches I need to lose. I'd love to be 74kg and a comfortable size 12 trousers for when we get our uniforms. Skin now tingling from cold air and I need to let it adjust to room temp before I pur on more moisturizer.

Wowser it has been all go for you Tipp!

Well done on formally accepting the job, that's great - and some money coming in, which is always good :).

And well done on all the exercise - and pretty good control over your food (most of the time anyway lol). Are you a boredom eater? me too - and I have to really stop myself from just inhaling HiFi bars "because I have the syns" every night!

Boredom eater yes, and also treat time which is usually when I'm on my own an plan a blanket, wine, food and Netflix....when I don't have to look after anyone else

Just in from a 4km walk, I had to collect the car from the garage so me and the dog walked to get it.

Just had, or tried to have the Aldi Slimwell sweet potato curry. The sauce was lovely, spicy and sweet, the spinach and peppers were lovely in it but the sweet potato was a big let down. I was expecting it to be fluffy bit it was more like tasteless carrot or turnip. It was watery and crunchy at the same time. I think I remember having the exact same comment about the cottage pie
So instead I got a wrap and grilled 4 quorn cocktail sausages and added a slice of vegan cheese.... I ate about 2/3rds of it.
Having herbal tea and a digestive biscuit now.

Up and weighed in, another 200g gone so that's 1.2kg so far. But will stall today and tomorrow now as I'm in Dublin today so who knows what I will get to eat and tomorrow evening going out for dinner with darling husband for his birthday. Im hoping to get out now for a short walk or even a cycle but need to be quick need to shower and get dressed and be gone before 10am.
Have a good day everyone and eat well and healthy

I need to smile but would you give me a job?
I really feel it doesn't look like me but it does look professional.
