Been up since six...

Lunch all prepared (me and my bloomin mustard...)

Got my boiled eggs cooling in a pan too!
So tired today. OH has done a different shift which meant that he woke me up when he got up! At least I'm prepared though.

Need to have a bit of a sort out tonight and get round everyone's diaries as I've been lacking a bit! (Apologies)

Hope everyone is ok!

This is also my dinner from yesterday, if I had used correct sausages the syn value wouldn't have been much and it was very nice indeed!
It is down as a Cauliflower, Sausage and Potato Gratin and there was flour and butter in the original recipe. My OH tried making the sauce about three different ways before I put some milk in instead and drained the rest! No need for unnecessary syns!

The heck sausages are nice aren't they. They do square sausages too!! You'll get the right ones next time.

Yellow Mustard your fave? I fancied some mustard yesterday. It's a nice tasty seedy type mustard but it's been in the fridge a few months and I think it's probably for the bin.

I absolutely love the Heck sausages- particularly as they're so yummy, low fat and GF too, everything I want all in one! Oooo square sausages how yummy! Yes I feel a bit of a narna for getting the wrong ones!

I certainly do love my English mustard :) we have about 8 different types in the house as I believe that we are mad (we cook with it quite a bit- or used to!) but I have 1 tsp or a half with most meals as it seems to give me enough flavour to keep me going! I always ignore the 3 months thing! Oops!

How are you doing??

I bought a few dresses when I was due to be made redundant in March and I couldn't fit into 2 of them. Both M&S (courtesy of Ebay...)
Managed to get into one of them this morning, comfortably!

Chicken, soy sauce and rice based food for tea (I think as its OHs turn!)

Dinner (which was v yum)

Lemon Chicken with Coriander, Shallot, Spring Onion and Pepper Rice- Serves 2
2x Chicken Breasts
1x Olive Oil (tbsp) (6)
Frylight Sprays
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Garlic Cloves
1/2 Lemon
S&P
1 tbsp Honey (2)
2 Eggs
2 Spring Onions
2 Shallots
1 Pepper- Diced
150g Long Grain Rice
Coriander

1. Butterfly the chicken breasts
2. Place the chicken breasts in a bowl containing the oil, soy sauce, lemon, garlic. Season with the S&P. Whilst this is happening. Cook the rice through and set aside.
3. Heat a griddle pan and cook the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side. Then brush with 1 tbsp of honey. When it's done the chicken should be chargrilled on the outside and cooked in the inside. Rest for 2 minutes
4. For the rice, heat a wok, and spray frylight. Add the eggs and continually stir for 1-2 minutes as they scramble.
5. Push the eggs to the side of the pan, add the soy sauce, Spring onions, shallots and pepper pieces. Add the rice and season. Stir through for 3-4 minutes.
6. Serve!

So nice!

As soon as I get home I get my pyjamas on and have a good old veg out! My tablets automatically tire me out and I suffer terribly with the '3 o'clock drop' as it were!
Oooo looking forward to pictures!!!!

Haha you are more than welcome to come round for dinner :) I usually make myself veg sticks whilst cooking so I don't eat the ingredients hee hee!

Hope you're alright!

Sorry I have been AWOL! Between work and life I've been busy lol. Desperate to move house so been trying to view some and sort somewhere closer to mums and wee ones nursery. Also OH had few days holiday to take so we both are off for long weekend. Went shopping today and treated myself. I normally never buy myself clothes unless really needed but today I bought myself new jeans (smaller size but yet to try on, all mine are getting too big though! Also got new tops and a casual joggers and top set from new look for lounging around house. So comfy!)

Eating wise I've been good except last night we had some Indian food. I didn't eat a lot though but I'd say about 25 syns. Tonight I had chips cheese and curry sauce. So yummy and felt naughty but only 4 syns for curry sauce!

How's new job going? Xx

Oooo how lovely to have a long weekend I am terribly envious of you! I haven't had any proper time off since the start of November 2015 (my old job required a 6 month up front no holiday policy) I have Friday 12th August (my 26th Birthday) and Monday 15th August off as a long weekend which I am terrifically excited about- off to Edinburgh in October too :D the house move etc sounds good but stressful!
The clothes shopping also sounds really fab :) love comfy clothes and the jeans sound great- love that your clothes are getting too big!

The Indian food sounds very nice :) 25 Syns isn't bad at all and the chips, cheese and curry sauce sounds totally heavenly! I hope that you enjoyed it!

I am absolutely loving my new job- I can't get over how nice everyone is. EVERYONE says hello and couldn't be more welcoming. They are such a good company, all of my engineers are great and I can't wait to get my feet under the table properly! Totally exhausted but completely worth it :)

Dress looks great! It's ace when things fit that never used to fit! Fist pump!!!

Food is looking great!

I'm okay. A million days late for my period and it's annoying me so much. Not because of the pregnancy thing, I know I'm not preggers, it's just because I like things to be normal and on time. Still doing well and sticking to plan. All is good.

I had forgotten I was off so was nice surprise when I realised yesterday lol. We don't get a lot of time off together so will be nice :) your weekend in Edinburgh sounds great. Plenty to do.

Makes such a difference when work place is friendly. I went through similar move in November. My old ward was hell. So unsafe due to staff shortage etc and everyone was so stressed that it was an awful miserable atmosphere (place is actually worse now glad I'm gone). My new place is smaller but everyone is friendly and works as a team. Makes going to work less painful (except a Monday. Monday's are just a painful day anywhere lol!) big bit of my weight gain was old place too, we didn't get our breaks most days and we weren't allowed to eat or drink on ward floor so I used to binge at night on all wrong food. Plus I would eat my feelings. Not worth it.

Have good evening, Natalie xx

Still here!
Just in Leeds at the opening of my OHs stepbrothers new bar in Garforth!

There's a cheesy selfie!
Will report back tomorrow- yawn!

Still here in Leeds :)

I had to rush straight from work to Leeds to managed to still eat my eggs and salad for my lunch. Totally didn't think about dinner... Thank goodness my mother in law let me loose with her fridge!
I ended up with 3 slices of bacon (fat removed) and an egg (had to use vegetable oil though as no olive oil boo). Then we went to the bar in Garforth and had (shock horror) 3 vodka and diet cokes.
Came back and then bed :)

This morning, 3x slices of bacon and 2 eggs as well as a black coffee and some orange juice. Majorly craving some Superfree food now!!! Damn!

Thank you! I am loving being able to fit into everything in my wardrobe!!

My period was out by about 2.5 weeks this time I think it's just a lot of changes in your body! I'm glad that all is good with you and I agree with the regime and routine thing. Hope you get sorted soon!

I love it when you wake up and think you're working but you arent! Such a lovely feeling! Hope that you had a really nice time off :) definitely looking forward to us going to Edinbugh!

I can relate to the no breaks malarkey, that's how I used to be when I worked in hotels, so I was starving and would binge eat and would get myself into the most vicious circle and it was awful. I used to eat that fast and that much that I got palpitations :/ not good! I'm glad that you feel much happier on your ward now, it all sounds a lot better!

I hope that you're having a lovely weekend :D
