Extra Easy Days Trefoil's Trip To Target!

Dinner is just going in!
It is labelled as Chicken Parmigiana with Parsley Butter Tagliatelle- however we have omitted the butter, we have no Mozzarella/Parmesan and it's Penne instead ;)
We have tried this before, but Dan (I'm sick of calling him OH) wasn't happy and wanted to try it again....

So in the casserole dish we have:
2 chicken breasts, butterflied
1 egg
Parsley 1.5 tsp
Frylight
Tin of chopped tomatoes
Tomato purée
Basil (2 tbsp)
2 crushed cloves of garlic)
1 tbsp Coconut Oil
1 tbsp Plain Flour
S&P

Method
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Grease a casserole or large ovenproof dish with Frylight.
Butterfly the chicken breasts, season and set aside. In a separate bowl, break the egg and wash the chicken breasts in the egg before coating them in the flour. Place in a hot pan with 1 tbsp of Coconut oil and seal, turning occasionally.
Cook the chopped tomatoes in a saucepan with 1 tbsp tomato purée, the garlic and the basil To reduce the liquid and set aside.
Place the chicken breasts in the dish, followed by pouring the tomato mixture, then the cheese and place in the oven for 15 minutes.
Whilst this is cooking, heat some pasta according to packet instructions.
Remove the dish from the oven and leave to cool. When cooked take the pasta off of the hob (this bit is optional) drain and then add parsley (2 tsp) 2 crushed cloves of garlic and 2 sprays of Frylight. Serve on a plate with the chicken, tomatoes and cheese on top.

4.5 Syns per serving- I always count it as half... However my OH eats 2/3 and I eat 1/3 of our meals. Oh well, gives me a bit of leeway ;)

Your chicken dinner looks so yummy, almost pizza like!
I'm having such a sweet tooth lately, I want pudding all the time. Eeek.
Today I plan to be really good but someone made carrot cake last night and it looks amazing... I'm avoiding staff room haha!

Peri Peri Chicken with Rice Noodles and Veg (courtesy of a Mr J Oliver's 30 minute meals) is heading my way. Starving too, and very tired... Been a long but good day at work! Looking forward to the weekend and having a bit of a veg out! Although I'm still full of cold! :/
Also got my ultrasound hospital appointment through for my elbow, so that's on the 10th at 11:30. Bit of a weight off, but also a slight amount of panic beginning to set in again... I'm sure it will be ok though.
We were due to go to Roundhay Park in Leeds for a charity event on Saturday but it's been cancelled so we aren't. Definitely mowing the lawn with the brand new lawn mower I bought with my wages this week (how exciting.....)

Hello!! How are you doing??
That's what I was thinking regarding the body magic! Dan says he is going to sit on the decking and watch me sort it... We have quite a large garden so I will need to redo it this weekend. He isn't getting away with it!

Then I had some of Deans chips... I'm gonna say whole 15 syns and that's me done lol. Your dinner looks yum. I never really eat fish, but it always look lovely.

To be honest if I had worked a four hour shift, then viewed a house and had a busy day I would have been tired and probably gone to the chippy! Food sounds lovely and you did well to choose a better option! I only ever eat fish when Dan is out as he isn't a big fan except in a pie or battered to the nines... I've never been a fan of battered fish or a proper chippy tea (I like the sausages though!) so I always reserve it for when he is out as all of our meals are in twos!

Hope that you have a good one and that the nice weather continues, we got about 2 hours of sun this afternoon and then it left us again!

Yummy food pics as always.

Do you avoid bred completely or just an ingredient that's in bread?

Thank you- must admit that dinner was yum!

I don't eat any bread, with the possible exception of the end piece off a garlic bread baguette if my OH has some. I think that I've only had 1 wholemeal wrap and 2 pieces of garlic bread since I started and regretted it a couple of hours later so it's avoidance at all costs although my mum is supposed to be bringing me her bread maker to have a go at some alternatives that I can slice and freeze!
I also don't eat any cereals at all as none agree with me and eat oats very occasionally- which seem to be fine although I only use them to cook with as an alternative to breadcrumbs.
I tried the Alpen light bars for a while but they gave me pretty bad indigestion so they've all gone and I absolutely love Bernard Matthews Mini Kievs (yum) that are 1.5 Syns each but I don't eat them too often as they make me feel icky too...
However I eat a lot of the tinned Asda Teriyaki Mackerel (free) for lunch and that has traces of gluten in so I haven't a clue what it's about :/

Haven't eaten my HEXB for a while actually come to think about it... The fruit was good but I maintained the week that I ate it so I'm stuck!

So plodding along without! How you doing?

You know your body best. So it's great your figuring out what your body does and doesn't need.

I'm fine. Had Pms for 3 weeks which is annoying but staying on plan, losing weight and getting there.

Have a great weekend.
