How did it happen?

Strangely enough, when I was out having a fag earlier I was thinking that you hadnt been posting. Uncanny eh!

Thanks. All we know is she fainted and fell into a doorway - incredibly unlucky as to the angle she must've fell at.

Unfortunately a fair bit if medical info is lost in translation! Her boyfriend (who is absolutely lovely) doesn't know much English tho he has had lessons in past purely to be able to communicate with us (that proves how lovely he is, dint you think!). However he and his son are doing their best to explain as best they can .. It's just awful - can't really comprehend it all. Docs saying it's unlikely she'll walk again but we're praying her arms improve! It's still to early to be sure.

I will keep her in my prayers Vanessa, and lets hope for a good outccome. Like you say, at least she is in the best place with being Swiss.

How terrible that this has happened just with falling over in a faint - poor thing.

Vanessa, what horrible news. My God, the poor woman. Here we all are stressing over xmas gains. It is indeed a sobering thought and puts life into perspective. Take great care of yourself and each other in the family through this awful awful time. xxxx

She has had some movement in her upper arm!! Gonna take that as mega positive and not just involuntary muscle spasm xx
