Wannabslim's Diary - decided not to go to WI

Howdy doody friendly WW folk!

Well, today has been, erm, interesting... and before you all start thinking it, NO I haven't been a naughty girl! Rather, the opposite...

Have really struggled to eat all my points today as work was chaotic, I didn't stop for 10 mins let alone to go out and grab lunch. I had my breakfast as usual and then a couple of harvesters at about 11. I had a plum and some skips at about 2 and that was it until dinner, as I had to go straight from work to aquafit!

Bought chinese on the way back from the pool- chicken and mushrooms and a bag of prawn crackers for me, chips and sweet and sour pork balls for Mike. Normally I would eat my chicken and mushrooms, and ALL the prawn crackers, and feel comfortably full. Today I could only manage half of each. Think my belly must be shrinking (on the inside mind, as the outside was measured today and is certainly NOT any smaller :(). I took some time out after dinner and went for a shower, and by the time I came out I felt I had a little room left. So to use up the points I had a Sainsburys Be Good To Yourself hot chocolate sponge pudding (3pts). It was deeeeeeelish!

Only problem is, I still have 3.5 to use, and thats excluding all the activity points I have banked up today (and other days this week). Hmmm. Part of me thinks maybe I should save them for the weekend, but I am trying to keep eating a balanced number of points as I'm sure that its better for me. Plus I have the activity points for the weekend IF I need them.

But I really don't think I can fit any more in today. OK I probably COULD but I wouldn't enjoy it and don't feel I need or want it, so what's the point? Argh, what to do!???

Alcohol, chocolate - anything which you normally wouldn't have because it's got too many points in ;)

I wish I had that problem....I'm 10 cals over my allowance and my tummy's grumbling.....

oops, i lied, i have 4.5 not 3.5!! silly me! well i have decided to try and finish off the prawn crackers as they are yummy and very moreish, then i can save the last 2 for tomorrow for a glass of vino!

Hey gang,

Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days, its been a bit crazy round here! Work has been manic and in the evenings I have been out at the gym/cleaning the flat/sleeping and just haven't had time to get online!

Am doing well on the diet, went to bed at about 9 last night and hadn't used all my points (only had 1.5 left tho) so have been under my points 2 days in a row and made up for the days I went over earlier in the week, but which I had planned to use my activity points for, but now I don't need to so all my activity points are still available (12.5).

Am hoping to take a look at honeymoons today, as was meant to do it yesterday lunchtime but didnt get time :(

Well, we are going to go to the Grand Rotana in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, for 10 nights :). Will go up to London straight after the wedding, stay up near Gatwick in a nice hotel for our wedding night, then fly early afternoon the next day to Egypt. Looks lovely and its within budget on full board which is great news as the food out there is very dear (in the hotel) unless you go to the touristy restaurant area.

Have hardly eaten anything yet today but am starting to get hungry. Thinking of heading to the shops to buy something nice... it is Saturday after all!

Heya Stace :) i know, I'm so looking forward to it! We are indeed having an evening do, we plan to get a taxi (will be expensive) up to Gatwick at about 9pmish so that we can have a nice lie-in the next day before the flight. We're not staying at the evening do right til the end as I'm sure we will want some time alone by that point!

Thanks Kitty! Yep am loving WW right now. Had the most junkiest of food days today... BBQ ribs with some healthy version garlic bread at lunch, nachos and flatbread for tea... I am just craving carbs today so as its Saturday am allowing myself the naughty foods! Yummmmy! xx
 
Oh how exciting! That hotel look perfect! Just imagine yourself in your bikini by that pool. You are going to look fantastic! You have just taken me back to the day we booked our honeymoon. I think it was one of the happiest days ever. We flew out to Florida and we LOVED it. 10 months and counting now hey? Not long....:)
 
:D yayyyyy Lea you have got me all excited at the thought of it! I WILL be slim for my honeymoon! And I WILL be in no bigger than a size 12 bikini!! (maybe even a 10... who knows...)

Size 10-12 sounds perfect to me :) I hope I am there with you! (in size not at the pool ;)) Well I wish I was at that pool but not on your honeymoon if that makes sense ;)

Uh oh.... just had some nachos... worked out the points... TWELVE frigging points :( i am a silly billy! Should have checked the points first :(. Now I only have a few left for the rest of the day :(

Oh dear. I did that once with some pork scratchings (for some reason I really want them when I know I can't have them!!!!). I just made myself feel better by having a very active day and ate low point stuff for the rest of the day. You must have some activity points knocking around somewhere? If not, don't panic. It's your first whoopsie in 5 weeks, which is fab! I'm sure it will not affect your WI. Chin up and just continue on....:)

well i'm doing aquafit tonight which will earn me 2.5 and I guess I could always save a few tomorrow to give me enough to eat later today!

am now watching the Great South Run on C5 as Mike is running it. Am a tad scared for him as he hasn't really done any training. Ok, so he is fit and healthy, but its TEN MILES and if you're not used to running at all, that's a lot!! hopefully i might get to see him on telly as his wave start the race at 11.10, although there will be approx 1500-2000 others in his wave so not holding out too much hope :(
