What are we eating today?

Could some kind soul point me in the direction of a recipe for this cheeseburger pie please ?

B: 1/2 a MIM with Scrambled Egg & Smoked Salmon
L: Prawn salad
D: Homemade burger with cauli mash

B - soya decaf cappuccino - no time to prepare anything, running late for work
L - sausages and chicken with salad
D - tuna and egg salad

Hi Bren, thanks for the recipe, i'll try it out this weekend.

Kal - here's the cheeseburger pie recipe, courtesy of Steve, but it's also on the Just Recipes thread -

Cheeseburger Pie
Total carbs 9c. Serves 4
Ingredients:
500g minced beef
50g finely chopped onion
150g chopped mushrooms
100mls double cream
2 heaped tablespoons of mayo
150g strong cheddar grated
3 eggs
salt & pepper to taste


Fry mince, onion and mushrooms together until cooked season to taste, drain off fat, add Lee & Perrins sauce.
Place in a greased foil covered deep pie dish, flatten with spoon.
Beat eggs add mayo, cream and cheese.
Pour over the top of mince, drop olives around the dish and bake in oven Gas mark 5 for 20 to 25 mins until set and golden brown.
Leave to cool before taking out of pie dish, remove foil.
Cut in to portions and wrap in cling film
This freezes very well.
Lovely with salad, cauli mash, or stir fry (Great in lunchboxes)

Optional 1 Tablespoon Lea & Perrins 2c and 10 black olives

L - beef and veg soup (Knorr beef stock, yellow pepper, mushrooms, herbs and a green chilli - very nice for when you want something light and quick) and a Mim
D - roast port and cauli mash, maybe S/F jelly or Atkins bar

B - cheese omelette with watercress
L - babybel and some mascapone
D - roast pork, broccoli and lc coleslaw

E - 3/4 hour with dogbert
W - about 2 litres I think, will try for more
A - yes, started on the wine already and going to pub later :) well it is weekend
 
B-pickled egg & cheese (I know)
L-fillet steak. Green beans asparagus & broccoli spears with a garlic butter sauce
D-beef & mustard & lemon cheesecake, yum yum

E-21/2 miles with Steve & Smudge (bless him & his little legs..that's Smudge not DH!)
W-gallons, as always
No wine :D but rum & coke. Still getting into practise for my hols :D

E - just over half an hour but a big hill lol
A - 2 glasses white, now on voddy and coke zero oops

looking back on this I don't think I have eaten enough but thank goodness for hangover as that was the only reason I was hungry lol
 
B.. strawberry sf jellly moouse strange but had it left from yesterday

L.. 2 soft boiled eggs with 4 rashers of streaky bacon to dunk 3 fried mushrooms sliced

D.. 2 97% meat sausages a fried tomato, fried onions, lettuce leaves and cucumber, then some cheese cake topping

W.. 3l

E.. 15mins cardio

I honestly thought for a minute you had made a beef, mustard and lemon cheesecake!!! LOL!!! I think its bedtime for me! :eek:

B: MiM with 1/4 tub Philly & 2 decaff coffees with cream

S: 3 babybels (if I need 'em)

L: 150g chicken breast strips with salad and 2 tbsp real mayo

E: 40 mins P90 weights circuit (pm)
S: Low carb whey protein shake after weights

D: Piece of lamb breast joint with cabbage and cauli

W: 3-4L plus 2 more decaff coffees with cream

Is that enough with all that exercise? I'll see how hungry I feel...
 
Morning all, I've got my Mum's 84th birthday thrash at a Chinese Buffet on Saturday so I'm on induction to prepare for that.

B: Chicken, lettuce and spinach salad with lashings of Mayo.
L: I'm thinking of a ham salad.
D: I've got some bacon lardons out, so I'll probably make a big omelette for us with steamed green veggies

Scoffing lunch at my desk so I'm not starving through an urgently called work meeting to discuss "staff issues" (goodness knows what it means...will update later).

L - chicken salad (w cheese, lettuce. tomato, cucumber, mayo)
D - roast pork and cauli mash

Mon 13/9 - Maint

B - half a choccy mim with double cream (fave brekkie at the mo)
L - 2 oopsies with corned beef and brown sauce, lc coleslaw.
D - fish in butter sauce with spring greens
S - 2 babybel this afternoon, had 10 macadamia nuts mid morning.

E - not sure tonight as need to clean out fishtank and it takes a couple of hours.
W - usual 4 litres - need to rehydrate from weekend alcohol
A - will try not to succumb lol - I was good!

B..2 rashers of bacon and a fried (olive oil) egg

L..small pack of pastrami from coop, I did'nt have time to find anything else during my lunch break but very low carb whole pack was 0.2 carbs :)

D..2 homemade chilli/garlic turkey burgers with cheddar melted on top,lettuce leaves, little fried onion and a couple of mushrooms was lovely followed by cheese cake topping :D

W..3l plus
E.. working in a post office on a monday all day on your feet backwards and forwards to a mail bag was exercise enough lol
