Zest for Life

Still can't change this diary name!
Anyway, another good day, not sure here to count from as had a day off, didn't really want to but it's over now.
Work tomorrow, 15 hr shift, need to remember my shakes and water and a thick cardigan to wear when I get cold, which is all the time these days!
My sleep seems really disturbed in this diet, leaves me tired during the day, but I'm sure that'll change at some point.
Can't wait to buy some new clothes for my hols, :) x

You should still count from the start. This is about your whole journey. Feeling you with the cold :( I get it too. And the sleep lol. Always the rubbish bits never the euphoria! You're doing great when are you planning on going clothes shopping? X
 
Whoop whoop, got the diary name changed. Now then, I just got to get me zest back! Lost it when I got fat, used to be out and about all the time. Now I think, what the hell am I going to wear?! Instead of being up for everything like I used to be, I kind of lost myself. So now I'm on a journey to get me back!
:) does that sound weird? I know what I mean by it, so that's what matters x

Not weird at all - hubby once said he didn't know what happened to the woman he married - I got fat & lost my va va boom is what happened - so I can totally relate. We'll be back soon enough though!!

Glad you got it sorted. I know exactly what you mean and have been trying on different things when shopping to try and discover a new / the old me lol x

I'm fed up going and buying frumpy bad fitting old fashion clothes, that look like tents when I hold them up, but when I put the on are skin tight! Ever had that?!

Yep! More than once lol. Every time I've been out for the last few years it's been leggings and a floaty top to hide all my sins lol. Not no more tho ;) x
 
Long day over! Gym tomorrow? Maybe, or might just chill in the spa :) x
I just find the gym so boring, but I'm going to have to change my attitude to exercise or I'll never shape up and stay slim.

I need to change the way I see it too. I find it such hard work to fit it in. Have decided in losing the weight first then will work on understanding and following low gi then how to make exercise part of daily life. Little at a time for me this time round i thinks.

Whatever you do tomorrow enjoy it. What time are you WI? X

I'm weighing Monday now. was supposed to be Tuesday, but my rota got changed and had to work, so tried change to today but couldn't as CDC at hospital. I'm always off Monday's, so changing so I can stick to same day each week x
I bought extra so am ok for shakes :)

Yes when I wash or iron them they look ENORMOUS but as you say put them on and they barely do up - conversely I held up a friends size 10 and they looked like dolls clothes!!!

I'm the same - I used to be a bit obsessive about gym etc but find I used it as an excuse to eat more "as I deserve it & have worked hard" so I've turned it on its head and am doing long walks and have just started Nordic walking which doesn't seem to send my brain the same I've earnt it messages!! (but i also worry about being flabby so we shall see!!!

Same, I used to do gym, swimming, step ( do they still do that?) yoga, loads of stuff. Now I do barley anything, I've got to change. Last time I lost weight I was slim and soft and flabby! Looked ok in clothes but naked...eeeek! Still better than now though, fat and flabby!

Yes it's with poles - I am quite enjoying it - like being outside rather in a gym. Not sure how much of a workout it is - but that may be cos like you I used to do all the intensive stuff so it feels quite lightweight - but if that doesn't switch on the hunger then that is probably good!!

Oh my God how true is that I look and think surely they will be tooooo big and suck everything I nearly stopping myself breathing hahahahah xxx

I do body pump class and swimming I don't do the gym god so bored but CDC says I not allowed to do cardio in case it stops my weight loss or slows it eight down xxxx

I used to love body pump & body combat ..... Maybe once I get smaller I will take them up again...........we'll see.

That would be demoralising to slow or stop the loss because of exercise - there that's my excuse sorted!!!!

Bodypump, is that with weights, ?
I wish I could like the gym, my gym has a tv in every piece if equipment just plug your headphones in, I still get bored. Not the same as sitting on my butt watching, funny how I never get bored of that! Lol ;)

So do you walk alone or in a group? Does it feel strange ? I can't imagine it, sort of like ski poles? Good though, I've read about it and supposed to be very good exercise! Good you found something you like that you can do anytime x
