So, yesterday found out my little brother has to go back to Afghan on wednesday not thursday :( Sooooo ... he has gone today to visit my grandad in bristol before tomorrow :sigh:

Annnnnnnnnd someone has eaten a portion of my bean chilli for this week!!! :eek: I hope it burnt their mouth! :giggle: So will have to change the week plan, think i will put a piece of fish in there - thursday i think.

Did Couch to 5k Week4 day 1 today! I actually did it!! :party0049: although now my toe has stopped hurting from the brusing i now have a blood blister on the end of my toe :mad: Everything else is fine!

Tuesday 6th July

ct5k w4d1

B- banana. All bran & s.s milk

*1 boiled egg

L- baked chicken, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, sweetcorn & chickpeas. Mango & chilli sauce.

*ww yog & apple

D- Clemintine.

*1litre water
*2 black coffee & sweetener

Well done on doing the run today Tan, shame about the blister. Nothing in life comes easy - eh chick!

I know you really are doing brill Tan .... I can't help but still be a bit concerned though that you're only really having your breakie and one other meal a day ... hmmmmmm ... don't go too mad hon, you're exercising too don't forget. (Sorry to be a worrywart ;o) xx
 
Of course Jan, but im just not hungry.

I will have an apple & yog later on before work, again its just not wanting to ever get into the habit of eating in work again. That scares me! :giggle:

How are you getting on with your couch to 5k thing? I downloaded it the other day because I used to be a massive runner and these days I'm lucky if I can make 5 mins!
Have you found your fitness and stamina has improved?

Hey chick. Yes, fitness and stamina has definatly improved. As have my thighs! ;)

It really is great. I never thought that i'd be able to do each week (on week 4 now) but each week i surprise myself. Give it a go honey, if you dont like it or want to repeat a week then you can. Its your own little programme and thats what i like about it. Also the bloke on the podcasts tell you when to run, walk and the music isnt too bad! :giggle: Let me know how ya get on if you do decide to do it hun :)

Ok ladies, i promise if i get hungry i wont deprive myself, especially on the days of running.

Any suggestions then if i do need to up the food?

Now i have breakkie after my run, then lunch around 8/9pm then fruit and a yog around 11.30pm then im off to work an hour later. So don't want another meal as such ...

Got overtime tonight. So i'm starting at 10pm. Which means i will be having a 40minute lunch break so i will take a ww yog, apple & clemintine and my book :giggle:

Wednesday 7th July

B- all bran & s.s milk

*pot of melon and pineapple from the coop that I had in the cinema- had about 10 pieces in

L- bean chilli, lettuce, cucumber & tomato. LF greek yog.

*4 slices each of polony and wafer thin ham

D- apple, clemintine & ww yog.

*1litre water
*2 black coffee & sweetener

Ryvita spread with extra lite mayo and some ham/eggs/tuna.
Few oatcakes with a topping.

Cant think of any more at the mo, in work chick.
 
I can't Mary, if I had crackers and lf soft cheese I just eat it cuz it's there. Same with nuts :sigh:

Got to add I grabbed 4 slices each of polony and wafer thin ham before I left for work.

To be completely honest with you Tanya, I would much prefer to see you getting 3 tidy meals into your day, then just take some fruit to work for a snack.
 
I don't get up early enough to fit 3 meals in before work :rotflmao:

I do wish I had something more tonight as I'm feeling a little hungry :sigh: even after just munching my yog an apple! :giggle:
 
I think you should take something more substantial to work - I know it'a hard with your short breaks etc. Or have 2 meals before work and one when you get home. x
 
Oh god defo not after work jan I go home and jump straight into bed :giggle:

Have landed myself more overtime tomorrow so a change to the plan.. Guna have turkey and veg before work and bring a tuna salad to work.

Will have a think about my meals girls and might give the crackers another whirl next week but have them literally right before going to work.

:) my shift is almost over... Just 20 mins to go!!! :party0049:
 
You'll have gone home now then .. lucky you .. I'm really struggling to keep my eyes open.

I'm always really hungry for my breakie when I get home. I wish I COULD just jump into bed. I've never been able to do that, I always have to have a little 'chill' & watch sommat inane on TV. It's made worse time wise now with going to Mum's (not that I'm complaining - I'm not!) It's often 10.30 - 11 am before I'm getting to sleep. If I could get to bed earlier I'd have more time at the other end of the day & not be in bed till 5-6pm!

Ah well never mind eh? ;):) xx

Now...gonna tell you off here ;-)! In love, of course.....cause I dedect a wee bit of a fear of failure and overeating. You have to remind yourself of where you have come fro and how far you have travelled and you are a success! Depriving yourelf because you are worried you will eat it all means there is something you are not facing re your food demons! Well, this is what I am deducing from reading regarding eating, etc....remember the old thing about starvation mode - dont get into that realm!

Trying to get up 30mins earlier WILL make a big difference....take food into work, but not a pkt of something..try and make something up....pitta bread, low fat humous salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, take 3-4 oatcakes and enough low fat cheese/humous for the crackers.

I think now that you are running regularly you have to ensure you have enough fuel for your body or you will start getting so hungry that you grab whatever is to hand and that might not be a good choice.

Sorry if you think I am ranting !!!!

You are doing so well....I am really and honestly full of admiration on your weight loss and more importantly this running!

Oh, have a banana.......this is slow releasing energy and will sustain you for a good few hours!!!
 
Totally agree with what Iris has said to you, you have come so far chick.

I would be starving on what little you eat, it would definitely lead me to snacking on things I didnt want to snack on.

Ok, on days i run i will aim to have more to eat. Its not that i feel im depriving myself im just not feeling hungry - but who knows, maybe it is all in my head! :giggle:

Will defo buy myself some oatcakes next week and something to top them with and will have them for defo on days i run before i head off to work and see how i feel on the days i don't run.

I have decided after todays run thats it for this week - i want to give my toe a complete rest. So i will repeat week 4 next week and do the full 3 times.

Food today you girls will think its better and i'm happier with it knowing i wont be hungry in work during my 8hour shift :sigh:
