♥ ~*~ Tanya's Diary No 3 ~*~ ♥

Just wanted to say glad you're bro's OK (again)! How any of you relax with relatives out there I really don't know. My daughter's boyfriend has just been posted to Germany but reckons he'll be out there in a year or two at the latest, she'll be a wreck with him over there, I know that!

Good luck for the TFRing you two, you may as well use up the products you have left if that's what you need.

How has today been??? x

:rotflmao: hahaha!!!

Today has been good - felt hungry after my run which isnt unusual so i had half of my soup. Will have the other half in a bit.

I think work might do me in as i can't have a shake at work as i don't have a shaker so im guna have it at half 12 right before i leave! :giggle:

Ah yeah I can see how that'd prove a bit difficult. I stole the fella's maximuscle shaker - did the job!!
Well done on today tho, plus going for a run too! Good woman. Most exercise I got was a stroll thru town :giggle:

You know what, I was thinking exactly the same thing, about tfr. I've got enough for a week. Why is is so easy to do tfr? I mean compared to maintenance? TFR takes a lot of willpower but I liked the boundaries that it had. It meant you couldn't stray, under any circumstances because you knew the consequences. Thought we'd have broken our bad habits by now eh? You'll get there, maybe just some TFR to get you back on track. xx

Hi ladies, I've just been catching up on all your posts and I'm glad to hear that it's not just me who's finding it a bit tough at the moment, been pretty good on maintenance but I put on 7lbs when I was on holidays and now I feel awful, my jeans are tight and I cannot seem to shift it BUT I have 20 shakes left over from before and I have been contemplating for the last few days whether to get back on TFR again to use them up, and I'm glad I picked up your posts cos it's given me a boost and I'm gonna start tomorrow! Also I've downloaded Robert Ullrey's podcast and gonna start C25K pretty soon, I haven't run in 2 years. Well done Tanya on completing your C25K, how did you find it?

I think sometimes a TFR boost could be what we need for morale. Only really when it applies to losing a few pounds. I wouldn't like to yo-yo with stones and I doubt that is healthy. Join us for the few days TFR cos we'll be here for support. Good luck with the runnin! You 2 are so good, I cba!!! xx

Yes, join the club sweetie :) hehe
I found c25k really good actually. At first it was a bit daunting but now im so glad that i have done it. I'm still carrying on with running 3 times a week so it defo spurs you on. The podcasts are very very good too as they tell you when to walk and when to run. Don't worry either if you have to repeat a week do it at your own pace and only when you feel comfy with that week move onto the next :)

I have just been called into work early :D :party0049: As much as i dislike my job i'm a sucker for it! :giggle: ANNNNNNNNND!!!!! I'm not going to miss out on my shake as i have dug out my brothers shaker that he uses for his protein shakes!! brucey bonus! :giggle: :D

xxx

You girls are so bold!!!! Off on TFR to drop a few pounds!!! tut tut. What happened to healthy eating etc etc!! You have gone to pot without Jan and Mary keeping you in check. Best get your sachets used up before they get back online!!

:giggle: I wanna know more about your GL diet!! Pre tell?

Personally, I think GL rocks!! I never feel hungry or deprived. Hop on to the GL forum here on minimins and read some of the threads.
I have loosely followed the plans of Patrick Holford and Nigel Denby whilst keeping an eye to overall calorie intake. It is now second nature to me.

ooooh I will I will!! ta! x

Molly, sometimes I find your replys really really patronising.
If I want to dabble with TFT for a few days to try and regain some control then I will. I don't need jan or mary's approval or disapproval (no offence ladies xxx).

This eating right malarky is the hardest thing I've ever had to do and if I need the shakes or something similar for a few days I'll have it and I don't want to feel patronised or wrong for doing so.

How's it back on the shakes then Tanya? I know you always feel so in control when back on them and it really has spurred you on with the maintaining after too. Hope it's going OK. Well done with keeping up the running too, sounds as though you're doing really well with that. With the bad weather hitting us soon are you still going to join the gym? Great idea if you ask me. You seem to really enjoy your running so if you can keep it up I think that's great.

I agree, don't give us a hard time about doing TFR for a week as I don't see it as just a 'quick fix', I use it as a detox to get rid of all the rubbish I ate on holiday, chips, icecream, chocolate etc.. I feel much better in myself then.

Thanks Tan for your advice on C25K.

Apols Ladies if you took offence. None was intended. It was meant as a joke as you had already alluded to the mice playing while the cats away etc.
I know as well as anyone how hard maintaining our TFR losses is. I've been at it since the end of March.
I never ever mean to patronise anyone and I have been fullsome in my praise to you since I joined the forum.
I'll keep my humour or lack of it to myself in future.

I misunderstood your humour, apologies
Irish Molly, I got out of bed the wrong side. but all ok now. Well done on your terrific weight loss by the way!

Its great Bev. I feel much more at ease with myself. I know im going to eat saturday as im off to my friends for a baking & xfactor evening and if im honest with myself i will probably go 2 shakes 1 no carb meal from sunday. I just feel like 4 days will be enough to get me focused again. Its the pesky snacking that i have to nip in the bud. Im hoping going back to refeed principles will sort that out.

Yes still joining the gym - i went with my friends a couple of times last week. Its the royal mail gym and its only £8 a month! :D Bargain! Im waiting on my manager to get me the new number to call so i can join. I must admit though, i do prefer running outside to the treadmill! But i know when it starts getting darker in the evenings i wont wana run when its dark so its the best option.

How is badminton going? xxx

Thanks Tan for your advice on C25K.

No problem sweet :) When are you starting it?

Molly, I too didnt understand your humour. Sorry if i was a little harsh but i saw it as i had already made a joke of whilst the cats away etc and then saw you saying that. No hard feelings :)

Wednesday 15th September

B- strawberry shake
L- mushroom soup
D- strawberry shake

*2.5 litre water

Managed to bag myself overtime for the rest of this week. So am starting at 22:15 instead of 01:00 :D So I have a 40min meal relief so now that i found my brothers trusty shaker i can take it to work :)

I was going to start my C25K last week but I've been having physio on my shoulder for an old injury but that's much better so my intentions was to start today but as I've started TRF today I didn't want to do the both, so gonna start when I refeed. I used to go for a run before my youngest was born and I managed about 25 mins reaching around 3km but even though I had my ipod I found it difficult to pace myself and how fast to run/walk etc.. so I'm hoping the podcast will help me, I've heard so many people say how helpful they found it.

I prefer to run at night as nobody can see my blood red face!
