30 Day Squat Challenge - who's in?

Ok, gonna give this a go. Starting today.

Brilliant! Loving that there's a whole bunch of us doing this now...how are we all feeling today? :)
 
Not updated on here for a few days because I got to day 5 and went over on my ankle while I was out running so have had to rest it for a few days. It's starting to feel better so I'm going to start up again tomorrow but going back to day 1 and starting all over again lol.

The ankle is much better now thanks :) I already have tendonitis in my right foot but then went over on the left one so thought it best to have a bit of a rest lol. Day 1 re-done this morning woop woop :)

Today's been a lovely rest day. 120 to do tomorrow - will get one done first thing and thr other in the evening. Hope your all doing ok!!! Has anyone noticed a difference? My butt is so big I don't think I will but hopefully this will pay me back when my bum weight finally shifts :)
 
I was meant to do 100 yesterday, then went out to a gig and dances for hours so by the time I got in, doing squats was the last thing on my mind. So I took 2 cheeky rest days and I'll start back today.

I took my before pictures last night (horrible experience) but at least I have them now and I can not worry about ever being this size again! Fingers crossed anyway :D

I feel a bit fitter, just don't know if I can see a difference yet :)
 
I will start this tomorrow, my bum is massive and I hate those mirrors that make it look even bigger than it is. Sorry, wee bit of a rant there.

My plan will be:-

Day 2 - 35 squats
Day 3 - 40 squats

Well done Dolly - you're doing great! I took a couple of extra rest days (oops) so back on it with Day 9 tonight! :D

Days 1-3 done. Rest day today :) did 90 minutes of aerobics plus the squats yesterday and definitely feel like I need a rest today lol.
 
I'd love to join - I will do them in 2 sections in the day, morning and evening so I can still walk afterwards. :)

I will start tomorrow morning.

I've not been very well the last few days so have slacked off. I did notice its 30 days until Xmas though so I'm going to start again tonight now I'm feeling a little better :) that will take me up to the day I fly away on holidays so will hopefully maintain 250 squats a day on hols :)
 
@courneysmum - I found I didn't ache much, am pretty sure I am doing it right have checked against YouTube videos. I think it depends on how much you use those muscles also don't go down further than your knee height as it puts extra strain with no benefits :)

I did notice it in my legs but nothing in my bum. What does everyone else feel from it ??
 
This sounds like a brilliant challenge! I might jump on board! Is there a set number per day? Or do you set your own targets?

Great thank you. I will have a look at the videos on YouTube to make sure I'm doing it ok, think I have been. I'm not too sore today but will see after today's lot of squats.
