I'm from Wales & I can cook but they obviously do things on the cheap to make bigger profits!!

But looking at the bigger picture, with all the cuts to the NHS what's more important, a good doctor/surgeon or a decent meal????
 
Fair point Gav. I'd rather have a decent surgeon and cut waiting times as opposed to a good meal.

I'm hardly going to waste away lol x
 
It's a fair point but killing people through shocking "food" also apparently saves money and cuts waiting times ;)

In France they charge you for food in hospital - 7€ when my brother was in (per day) But the food was brilliant. I'd happily pay if it meant I was getting a decent meal for it!

Happily swap you some vodka for some morphine - pop over ;)

It may come to paying for your meals the way this countries going!!!

I'm over the limit to drive otherwise I'd pop a bottle up ;-)!!!
 
Probably for the best, not sure the nurses would be too happy if you turned up with a bottle of vodka, plus I'm not sure it would do me much good at the moment! Having a good night?

Glastonbury on the TV & 70cl bottle almost done!!

Not sure how I'm going to feel tomorrow but feeling good at the moment....

3 hard weeks of training ahead before a weekend away....

Then the best part of 3 months before the Great South Run!!

Biggest Loser Australia & Vodka don't mix, in bits!!
I've come a long way but still have a long way to go!!

Oh dear!

Trying to book my daughter a birthday. Proving rather stressful from a hospital bed. Not made any easier with no one answering the phone. But hey there is no one else to do it and I am running out of time, so just have to crack on and try and find a solution!

She will be 6. Have booked monkey bizness over in Gosport. Rang a lot of places and no one was answering or getting back to me!

We use Fuzzy Eds in Sovereigns on Kingston Crescent which is good!!

We went to monkey bizness last Saturday & my girls really enjoyed it....

If she was older & wanted a Disco Party then I could have helped as I am a mobile DJ amongst other things!!
 
Obviously! Lol. My niece had party at monkey bizness a few months ago and was excellent.

Vegetable moussaka supposedly. Unfortunately it looked too much like vomit for me to consider eating it. Dad bringing me in some salad later. Funny, 6 months hard core dieting, suddenly find myself craving decent healthy nutritious food that hasn't been overly processed! Sadly the nhs only offers over processed rubbish.

Clean eating is definitely the way forward. Think I will have a crack at making my own sushi when I escape, it can be very healthy after all.

Moussaka is supposed to be veg in a tomato based sauce with sliced Aubergine....

Ask your dad to bring 3 meals a day in coz you need to eat!!
 
My dad has been such a star, looking after my daughter while I am stuck in here and feeding me too! And he goes to Costa on the way up every day :)

Just bidding on an ipod touch for my daughters birthday. She has really started to discover music. Bad music, but music none the less.
 
My dad bought salad and a doughnut tonight :) as it is first thing I've eaten since my cornflakes this morning I don't feel too bad about the doughnut ;)

All my scars are itching tonight. Having had two ops so close together that's one big scar on my elbow and 4 small ones on my tummy. Grr!

If I was in your situation my diet would be the 1st thing to go....

Just concentrate on getting better then start afresh with diet....

Hope wounds are not itching to much today!!
