Thanks Mary x

At the risk of sounding like a real old granny (even though I am) I have to take my hat off to those of you with small children these days. I don't see how any of you can survive without working but the pressure and stress that puts you under is enormous. I guess mine was the last generation lucky enough to be able to not work when the kids were little - I DID do a few hours here and there but that was more for me and to provide extras than because I HAD to.

I really feel for my DIL for example, who HAS to work 7/10ths of full time (she's a special needs teacher) despite my son having a good(ish) job as a police officer. It's not so much for the kids even - it's for her missing out on the kids!!
At the same time I love the way that parents these days have discovered how to enjoy their children. I regret that I didn't spend more time on fun and enjoyment rather than discipline etc. Although I have to say I'm really proud of the way all three of mine have turned out.

I guess I'm saying I admire you Emma :)

Okay! I'll shut up now ;) xx

Awww thank you Jan, that was so lovely :cry:It is hard but my 2 days off a week with my boys I try really hard to make sure we play and do fun things but I'm only human sometimes I end up spending the day cleaning or such stuff and then spend the rest of the week kickin myself :( I'm lucky I have a good job unfortunatly it has such long hours, my OH is in the final stages of launching his own business so we are incredibly stretched and stressed at the moment....I'm just rambling now.....bottom line is no way do I get to spend enough time with my son, the time I do have I try to make special and just pray when he grows up he sees everything that we did was for him :) he's the reason for everything.

Fab result Emma and well deserved as you have been very good. It shows that WW does work.

Thanks everyone :) I really still am quite shocked!! Didnt have a great day food wise- have updated menu. I was running late for work so made my porridge really quickly and stupidly put it in a plastic bowl so the whole thing bl**dy melted all over the place!!! Didnt have time to clean up so the OH made me some toast and cleaned it up for me :) I ate the toast on the bus!!

I can imagine the rush you must have been in, but having a wee giggle here at the thought of you eating your toast on the bus!

Oh yes also forgot to tell you all I bought two size 10 bikinis yesterday and they fit, not just fit but fit as in no muffintop fit :D for the first time ever I actually thought a bikini looked ok on me  So happy I am, definitely the motivation I need to STS until my holidays in June!!!

RESULT!! Well done :D!!

Now that's another item of clothing I've never possessed - a bikini, however this time I won't be putting that right unlike the jeans. What's definitely right is me NOT wearing one! ;) xx

Well done on the nice fit of the bikini, nice to feel so good about yourself. You will blow them away on the beach in June.
