Hope the rest of the evening has been OK too for you. I have to confess to having 2 Thorntons chocs for my evening snack. Correct amount of calories but obviously not as healthy as the low Gi snack I was meant to have.

Good morning Dizzy, just catching up with your thread. Glad to hear you're sounding more positive and finding it a bit easier to stick to. Keep up the good work, you're doing really well (apart from those chocs - but I won't mention them!)

Take care, have a good day

Lunch: 12 am

Tin of Weight Watchers Clear Chicken Noodle Soup
2 Rice cakes
2 tbl low fat hummus
4 cherry tomatoes

1 medium banana

Didn't think much of the tinned soup!:(
Rest was good though.

Ate lunch early today as had breakfast really early too. The apple museli was already made in the fridge and I was up well before the gang so couldn't resist eating it early.

Legs are getting stiffer by the minute. Need to get to the gym soon or I won't want to go.

Did also have a few cashews which I shouldn't have. Need to to careful of these nuts as low Gi but high calorie. Ate lots of nuts last week when trying to stop my self going wild. it didn't work and probably large cause of the weight gain. For instance I ate a whole packet of brazils when out shopping on Saturday!

ooooo i know what you mean about nuts - so delish especially brazils and cashews!!! But as you say soooo high in calories and fat!!! I had a packed of honey roasted cashews from M&S last week - OMG amazing! don't ever try them!!!!

I really am salivating over your food intake though, well done on keeping it healthy!!!

I'll remember not to buy those M&S cashews Karen. The roasted and salted nuts are even harder to resist aren't they?:sigh:

Hip hip hooray!

I have my laptop back! I am soooooo happy! But I have soooooo much work to catch up on! Spreadsheets etc, yuck!

Didn't even realise you were still without it. So you are wireless again!:D

Hope you are having a good SS day and enjoying your time off.

Been to the gym this afternoon. My aches disappeared while there. Worked off 750 calories. Walking down the steps from the gym the aches came back and much worse. Sitting on the loo this evening is a bit sore on the legs. Aches are getting worse me thinks!!

Had an email reply from my ediets mentor re my weight gain. I asked her if my exercising may have affected my diet last week. The sudden lack of energy and feeling low.

She said that my activity level was set at inactive and so if I am exercising I should change my plan as this would very well make a difference. I have now changed my activity level to active and they have completely changed my plan to 1700 calories a day.

Seems surreal to be on a diet of 1700 calories a day. I won't force myself to eat them all especially on my less active days but I will give it a go and feel confident now to exercise as much as I like.:D

As my whole plan has now changed all the meals for the week I need to work out what I can have tonight with the ingredients I have in.

What a lovely dilemma to have Dizzy !

Sorry all you sole sourcers. :( I must admit though, I got used to all that extra time gained from not eating, planning and cooking while SSing. :) At the moment I'm finding it time consuming all the extra shopping, as well as weighing ingredients and preparing separate meals for me.

I'm quite enjoying the cooking though. Don't always!

It is a lovely dilemma though you are right!:)

Oooh 1700 calories - how wonderful, mind you you're putting in all that hard work with your exercising and so you do need enough cals to burn off & still feel well.

You're doing really well Dizzy - hat's off to you girl :)

It does seem a lot but if it's better than picking (or worse) on rubbish. If it keeps me feeling well and plenty of energy to keep up the exercise I do it. Hopefully the odd pound or 2 will drop off along the way too.;)

My legs are so sore this evening :( it's a killer to sit down and I'm dreading the stairs to check on the boys in a mo.

I did feel the calories I was having probably wasn't enough but wasn't expecting 400 more.;)

Dinner:

Sesame Chicken Stirfry with noodles

Cherries

This was what I had planned tonight on the 1300 plan. Luckily I had already written up the recipe. Not sure what I should have had for desert but have had cherries.

Tomorrow I'll start the 1700 plan. :D Will still keep on having the early nights too as I'm sure that helps too. Although when I was waking up exhausted last week after early nights:confused: I was beginning to wonder if I needed more calories.

Will be really careful not to add extras if I really must I will compensate for them.

I'd really like to use the gym everyday this week but I am suffering a bit this evening. If I'm bad in the morning I will just swim tomorrow. I have booked a class on Thursday morning so really want to be up for that.

Better go listen to Cello in the room next door and then tuck all those little faces in!;)

Oooooh - 1700 calories - woohoo:D

Doesnt surprise me though - buring 750  calories at the gym and eating 1300 only leaves you 550 for living on!!! Definately not high enough when you are exercising like that!!

Enjoy!!!:)
