finally taking control of my body

Wow, its been a while since I've been here. Last year I. Started November 13th I think, and I gained the weight back plus more. Same story, different person. Silly how its hard to maintain the weight loss.

So today is November 5th, Saturday and its 9 51 in the morning. I weigh at 289. Pretty pathetic, I know.

I'm not sure if I'll weigh in every week like I use to or do it differently but I'm not back to dieting, I'm back to trying to eat more better.

Of course, like last time, I'll come and randomly update. I miss the people who always use to come on here and we'd have long conversations. Plus, I love the fact that most people here don't live in America like I do.

I looked back and reread what I posted here. And then I saw my picture on how much different I looked after 1 month - the before and afters. I have to get rid of this fat off me. I have to.

Welcome Back Elm. Pleased you are back. You can do it hun!!!!! Just look at how well our Katierose has done. Now thats thinsperation for you hehe.

Just realised, you started pretty much the same time last year as me. I started on the 15th. Spooky. Lets start again and do this as I have been crap since I come back off holiday and it really getting me down and I hate being down!!!!

Its Tuesday, day 4 now and its 1 27pm

Wow, already day 4? That's crazy!

Thought of the day: why is it so hard to stop eating so much? I get it, sometimes the food is really good so you keep going. Then there is the cravings. Then there is the just eating because you're bored. Etc, reasons.

This economy is driving me crazy. I was a travel agent about a month ago, I worked there for 3 months and I was working 60-70 hours a week, I loved it. I've been applying everywhere. It'd be nice to get a call.

I ramble too much.
 
Hey Elm, make sure you come have a proper bit natter with us on my thread. Good bunch of us on there now. How are you doing with your diet then?

I have just got back on the Wagon today and am struggeling. CRAVING nice food haha. Hope I can get proper stuck in again xxxx
 
This app changed a lot and takes forever to load, so I usually have to get on the laptop to look at other threads.

Its sunday, day 8 and its 11 52am

As for the diet, I really need to focus on it more. Its winter, so its always cold which makes me not want to work out.

The best friend has training till next Sunday and he's not allowed to have his phone, so going 8 days without talking to him is a bit strange. Its only been 1 day since he's been gone, and I miss him. He's a Marine, so the military training pisses me off sometimes.

On Friday I got a call for a job interview, the phone interview lasted about 16 minutes and now I have to wait till Monday since they have to do a back ground check on me, which I'll pass. Then I have to do 8 tests. And then hopefully get hired on.

This day is just blah. I'm staying away from the kitchen.
 
Still day 8...

Since i haven't been on here for a while, i went and looked for people that use to be here and saw so many reach their goals, or are close and still around. Its crazy, i'm proud of the people here. Its a struggle, but everyday you get stronger. I read a few threads and it made me want to cry for how happy they are now.

I wasn't planning on weighing myself yet since i haven't been eating better, but i did lose 2lbs. You know what? When i changed the stats on here that i lost 2lbs, that made me feel better. I forgot how good that feeling really is, even though its only 2lbs, its better than gaining 2lbs.

Pretty much have been listening to... Kanal von boyceavenue - YouTube ....all day, i'm kinda addicted to this song right now.

I'm going to probably spend the rest of the night lurking this website and see all the new faces, i'll be here for a while. I realized that every time i want to eat junk food, i should just come on this website and see how others have reached their goal and it helps me.

I'm rambling again.

Hows you? 2lb loss is fab. You are going in he right direction and you will get there.

I agree, other peoples success stories keep you going and give you hope. I used to red peoples ad think if they can do it then so can I!

Ooooooo. who is this marine? Is that he ex boyfriend? He now your best mate? Thats nice if it is.

Have you had a nice weekend?

I got back on my diet on Wednsday and have lost 5lb since then by sticking to a 1200 calorie diet and drinking lots of water. No exercise as yet but plan to step that up next week :)

Monday, day 9, 5 42pm

I've been pretty busy today. I had to take a 6 hour long test for this job. The lady called me and asked if I knew I had crazy fingers since I type so fast, she made me laugh.

I have a job interview tomorrow morning at 730am. Its kinda far from where I live, but it pays $10 an hour and its 40 hours a week. I'm still going to look for a part time job. I love working, and I love, LOVE money!

I have been so busy that I only had a bowl of special K and then 11 hours later I had some tuna salad. I've been drinking loads of water. I'm am so damn determined to get rid of this fat.

I am all over the place on this post lol.

I'm actually pretty nervous about tomorrows interview. I really hope I get the job. Even though its early, I should go to be bed and be well rested for tomorrow.

I did have that job interview, but it starts in december, I did get it but I'm trying to find something faster that starts right away.

My best friend got back in last night instead but they couldn't leave until they got an all clear and I fell asleep waiting for him lol, he called and texted while I was asleep. I woke up around 6am and called him, he got drunk with the guys and was falling asleep. Its nice to know he missed me a lot. :) can't wait to see him during christmas break.

So far this morning, I had mcdonalds breakfast...fail lol oh well, I have all week to improve this. I did the math, if I lose 2lbs a week, I'll get to my goal within 15 months or so. I'm in no rush.

I like to ramble.

Tuesday Nov 29th 10 52am

Today I went to the doctors asking for help and to control my weight. After doing tests and taking my blood, I have high blood pressure and I'm only 22. In a few years, I will be worse if I don't change.

So starting tomorrow, they will have me drinking only veggies and fruits so I have to go buy a juicer. I cannot eat anything, I will only be able to drink 4 cups of that juice a day and loads of water. I will do this for 10 days and then go back for test results and see how I'm doing.

Later today I will go buy a juicer and loads of veggies and fruits and make my drink everyday. Its going to cost around $450 USD a month. The three days, I will not feel that good and will just want to lay around in bed. On the 4th days, my body should be use to it and I'll feel full of energy.

I like this doctor, they listened to me and my needs.
 
Friday december 2nd, 8 33pm

So I've been on this diet for 2 1/2 days now and I did peek at the scale, said -4lbs which is not too bad.

I've been craving everything but staying very strong. Oh and I also quit smoking so I haven't had one in 2 1/2 days and I'm not even craving one lol, its nice to quit cold turkey with smoking, now only if I could do that with food hahaha.

I cannot wait to eat a burger.

I lost 11lbs in 4 weeks.:D

This fresh juice is really good too, but makes me go to the bathroom a lot and makes me struggle lol.

Last night i was about to cave in and just eat solid food but instead i drank 2 cups of water and went to sleep. No one said this was going to be easy.
 
Monday December 5th 10 24am

So its day 5 and yesterday I got my period but I'm not suppose to for another 9 days because my birth control keeps it in control, but I guess this new diet is stressing out my body a lot that I got my period.

So far so good, I'm not craving any food and I'm not really hungery at all. I'm sure my body is use to not having food anymore. I think on day 7 I will start working out.

Oh, and I still haven't smoked. :)

Tuesday 8 38am day 6

Woke up and my period was very heavy and I haven't had it like that in over 3 years so I called the Dr and was told to go back to eating solid food. So I ate an orange, my taste buds have changed. I crave juice, not food. Everything tastes bitter now.

So I am back to counting calories. Me and food are not good friends and we still have to be around each other hahaha.
