I'm sorry they are no longer allowed as part of you plan. I can appreciate how disappointing this must be. Our Pittas haven't changed recently and hold the same nutritional values as always. I'd suggest that the change has come at Slimming World.

L: x5 scan bran (HEB) with sliced banana and sliced tomatoes (not together!haha) grapes, orange and packet of Quavers (4 syns)

B: 35g porridge oats (HEB), part 400ml Smart Price unsweetened soya milk (HEA), Blueberries, banana, Alpen Light (3 syns)
L: x5 scan bran (HEB), 30g cheddar (HEA) mixed with Kraft Light French Dressing, sliced banana, Mullerlight, Strawberries, Pineapple
D: Chicken drumsticks (skin removed) marinated (for 24 hours) in curry powder, tumeric, salt and pepper, lemon juice mixed with fat free natural yoghurt (2 syns for curry powder), salad (peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce), roasted red peppers cooked in balsamic vinegar and BNS chips.

Just noticed you syned the curry powder? Does curry powder have syns in? I use the morrisons medium curry powder in my mushy pea curry but thought it was free, oops

The brand I use has syns in it regular curry powder doesn't, just happens to be the one I like is synned (typical!!) so you thought right. I know I'm feeling like I've lost quite looking forward to WI!
 
Tuesday 23/04/2013 - RED DAY:

D: Homemade Shepherd's Pie - extra lean mince, mushrooms, onions, gravy granules & SP Mix (5 syns total), topped with carrot and swede mash and 30g cheddar (HEA) with sugar snap peas.

Been eating a lot more porridge lately as I find it so filling!
 
Wednesday 24/04/2013 - RED DAY:

Can i just ask what Porridge do you use as your hex b? Also, how do you make the BNS crisps??

Hi Lisa, no problem the porridge I use at the minute is the Oat so Simple I bought a load of the sachets when they used to be a HEB so I just weigh them up to 35g now, but any plain porridge oats are fine so long as there are 35g of them they are a HEB.

Did you mean BNS Chips? I slice the Butternut squash into chips (no need to peel it - thank god!!ha) spray my baking tin with frylight throw the BNS on spray them with frylight, sprinkle with paprika and bake for about 45 mins.

The BNS chips are lovely and they are so handy for red days I'm really into them and sugar snap peas at the minute! The sachets used to be a HEB but I'm sure there is only about 27/28g in them and the weight for plain porridge oats is 35g to make a HEB, are they plain oats? (the fruit/maple syrup ones etc have a syn value...) so like I say I just use them and measure them up to 35g.

D: BNS Chips, homemade bolognese (extra lean minced beef, onions, garlic and mushrooms - homemade sauce chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, oregano, salt and pepper and small jar of low fat Dolmio bolognese sauce - 5 syns for whole jar %3 portions = 2 syns) and sugar snap peas, mullerlight
Hi Lights Hot Choc (2 syns), 400ml Smart Price Unsweetened Soya Milk (HEA)

Saturday 17/04/2013 - FLEXI SYN DAY

Went out for dinner to the tapas, didn't eat much but what I did have was bad - fried squid, belly pork, chicken and chirizo paella, garlic prawns then plus the sangria, cocktails, wine, lager and vodkas - best write today off!

(can you tell I had the hangover munchies....haha)
