Typical Thursday

Thank you ladies, if my losses are like this, I'll be fine doing it from home :)
Ended up food shopping very late after running around after Chris finished work, we got in at 9, and were both starving!! Chris suggested a kebab but the local place only does donner, so not healthy, so we got Chinese.
I ordered a chicken chow mien, and had about 6 of Chris' chips.
The chow mien was yummy, not greasy at all.
Finished off the day with a freddo, yum!

So today's plan:
B- strawberries, raspberries, grapes, blackberries, blueberries, kiwi, yoghurt.
L- maybe salad and a petit pain (hex b)
D- homemade Chinese, thinking mayflower chicken curry, sw chips, mushroom fried rice, and maybe a vege chow mien.

Its my last dinner with Chris until Sunday because he's away this weekend, so thought I'd do something nice.
I was thinking of starting aquafit tonight but I tried on my cossie and I look and feel awful in it, so think ill try it again in a few weeks. It's a really decent speedo one that I've only worn a handful of times, and I really begrudge buying a new one when I'm trying to use it to get skinnier. I don't feel comfortable wearing my bikinis because I know I'll have a boob pop out. Lol.

Not to do housework but think I might leave until the weekend and do it while I'm on my own.
Hope you all have a lovely Thursday :) xxx

Well done for avoiding the kebab. Someone told me when I was young that the doner meat was actually an elephant's leg and I believed it for years, lol! If that's not enough to put you off them for good, I don't know what would!! Being veggie though, it never really bothered me, thankfully.

I went on the hunt for a new swimming costume last week for my spa day but I couldn't find one that I liked or that didn't cost a fortune so I didn't bother and when my sister went in the pool I went back to the gym! Didn't see the point in buying one that would hopefully be too big by the time I wear it again, which will probably be holidays in October.

eeeewwww an elephants leg how gross!! ha ha .
Why did u become vegetarian Bev? do u mind me asking?

Im watching I used to be Fat on MTV, and im really enjoying it. Its super motivating, Im feeling like i want to start trying to exercise again, I know i cant push myself too much yet, but Im hoping i can build it up slowly. Id love to be able to start jogging again, but i think ill start on the x trainer at the gym to start with, as its less impact.
I really need to start getting more creative with my cooking, I sort of stick to the same meals all the time. I did buy the asian foods sw book, so my goal for next week when Chris is back is to pick a recipe and do it next week one evening for us both.
Right, im off again, need to shower, then take mylo out for a walk.... poor puppy is pouting at me... lol.

Of course not. I haven't ever really eaten meat. I refused to eat fish from an early age (I think it was the smell) and I didn't really like the texture of meat so didn't eat much of it anyway. The last straw came when I was about 6 years old though and I saw the butcher getting a delivery. Horror of horrors as I finally realised what meat actually was, haha!! I'm not one of those stereotypical, preachy vegetarians though, if other people choose to eat it then that's up to them. In my group of friends, it's not even something we talk about. In fact a lot of my friends don't (or didn't until recently) even know I didn't eat meat!

My brother and his wife are vegetarian and have been for 15+ years, but since they've had their little girl, they decided to give her some meet, so they now do eat meat, but normally it will be organic, from the butchers directly and stuff. I could happily be a vegetarian, and I am useless with raw meat, it makes me feel sick. But Chris likes his meat too much.
Xx

So I did my mini homemade Chinese feast earlier we had:
Sw chips,
boiled rice with mushrooms,
chow mien ( noodles, onion, pepper, mangetout, babycorn, broccoli, sweet chilli and garlic sauce) (2syns)
mayflower chicken curry with onion and peas (4 syns)

then I've just had a mini magnum (7 syns)
so today I've had a total of 13 syns, a lot more than I've had for a few days, but was super yummy.
My mushroom rice wasn't great, that needs a bit of work.

Just catching up with the tv with the hubster.
Xx

Finally squeezing a red day in :)

Morning all,
feeling quite positive today, despite the appalling weather. Lol.
Going to try and have today and tomorrow as red days. I find it easier when Chris isn't around, because generally he likes to have carbs with his meal.

Plan for today:
Brunch- bacon, mushroom and tomato , with a bowl of berries
snack (if needed)- bread roll (hexb) with chicken in it. Maybe some carrot sticks.
Dinner - chicken with roasted balsamic vegetables

will still have a hex b and at least 1 a, so I was thinking choc crunch cereal with a banana and coconut choc milk, not sure the milk will be thick enough, might be like cereal rather than desert. :-/

Not really looking forward to this weekend, Chris is away, think it will be a lonely weekend. At least he's back Sunday.
So got to walk the dogs then be back to take Chris to the train station. I might go to the gym tonight, seems sad but will keep me busy and hopefully it will be nice and quiet in there tonight.

Whats everyone else's plans this weekend? Xx

Aw, you should enjoy the peace and quiet lol - make the most of having control of the tv etc.!

I'm catching up with a friend tonight, some errands and shopping tomorrow then cheering on a friend at the Edinburgh marathon on Sunday. Should be good fun x

Sun shining :)

So dinner last night was delicious and worth waiting for, and got a little bit left for a snack today :)
Went and met my uncle/Aunty/friends at the pub, but I stuck to my diet coke. Go me. When I got home, took mylo out to play ball then I had my hex a and hexb.
I had all bran choc crunch(hex b), with banana and fudge muller light desert (5 syns), with a glass of choc coconut milk (hex a).
was lovely, felt like such a treat when I came in.

Plan for today:
B- syn free pancakes, berries and sweetner
L- leftover chicken and veges
snack- pea and ham soup?
D- I've got mince to use, not 100% on what to do.
Thinking either bolognese maybe pasta? Or maybe something with mince and a butternut squash mash? Like shepards pie but different.

Taking mylo to my aunts later and were taking him and her dog out together, so hoping that will be a nice long walk. Then I might go try to go to they gym later, see how tired I am after walking. Lol. Not got anything planned tonight, so I'll take mylo out again to keep myself busy.

Ill check in with you all again in a bit. :))
