Help needed for 1st day......

It is salty lol but not too bad thankfully. I'm looking forward to trying a normal one though lol. Ill try and make one at the weekend.

I think she is just inflexible as she is not only pregnant but gets in from Work at 7 and can't be bothered to cook. Which is fine but I did tell her about SW so a bit mean in my opinion. I would at least try to do something else. But I shall turn up armed with my pitta pizza and she can have more normal pizza :)

Jelly babies are one syn each (not great value lol) but I had 2 yesterday, made up 2 bags of 5 and then have the rest to my bf so I think that was good. I wouldn't be able to take 5 out of a big pack and stop so portioning them out is perfect for me.

What treats you having tonight?!
 
that's a good idea....if there's no more in the bag....(you're wee bag) then you can't have any more ;)

aahhh..the things we do to try and be good eh! lol.

treats tonight were a freddo and a packet of beef hoops and crosses. managed to get some today in home bargains for 99p so lifted 2 bags. wanted to get more but the date was june and although i have crisps every day, i have others to get used up so didn't want to get any that then end up being out of date! they're so good! x
 
I have to do silly things to exercise control but it was nice having a few jellies anyway - usually I would go for crisps or chocolate over sweets. :)

I think today will be hard saving my hex's for dinner time. Breakfast is the killer because even if I don't have cereal I usually have a cereal bar. I did bring one with me and ill syn it if I have it. Got an orange to have first though and I might pick up some Mango at the shop en route to work.

I'm trying to stop spending so want to wait until I get back home tonight to top up my fruit bowl as morrisons is cheaper. The shops in London are really expensive for fruit and there isn't as much choice. I'm trying to limit myself to £20 this week on foody bits to top up and other things. Luckily I'm working all weekend so will have little chance to spend anything :) I've also planned my meals until Sunday so hopefully that will be ok. Ill start thinking ahead to next week in the next few days.
 
oh that's good then...to have things planned out. and i know what you mean about spending...i'm always in somewhere getting fresh bits and bobs but if i open things and there's something left over, i try to plan that i'll use it for part of another meal.
i'm forever trapsing around different shops but only go to specific ones for specific things and always look to see where the deals are. i'm probably a supermarket's worst nightmare only buying their deals lol..but you have to. and i suppose i probably waste more petrol driving to all the different stores but i just won't pay over the odds for something if i know i can get it cheaper lol x
 
I'm going to try and limit myself to £20 per week and see how I go :)
£1 down on kiwi fruit and I'm off to morrissons later for salad and veg!
 
they have a few things on offer....its always a bonus ;)

busy day for me again today, got left over mac and cheese for lunch but added bacon too...i'm looking forward to it already! lol x
 
How was the mac n cheese?! :) I've got risotto for lunch today for a change from salty quiche lol.

EE for me as I'm doing the smash chicken tonight with SW coleslaw ad maybe some salad. I did suggest SW chips with it but my bf said that's rather a lot of food so maybe I shouldn't?!

I was really hungry most of the day yesterday which is unusual for SW. I think it's because I had saved all my hex's to have with dinner so don't think ill do that very often. Not a nice feeling when you are hungry but have no supplies lol.

Bf went to the shops last night (this is a trigger for me) and I'm proud to say I told him not to get me anything. I even let him have my last mini bag of Jelly babies :) I'm doing well so far this week with 14 syns Monday and Tuesday and 15 yesterday. Lets hope I can do the same again today.

i get what you mean about being hungry...it's never nice. but you kinda knew it was gonna be awkward seeing as you were hanging on to the HE's.
the mac and cheese was nice actually. i just had it cold and had added some bacon to it. made a nice change.
today's green for me so have done alternative days this week again.
i sooo can't be ar$ed today but needs must eh....plus it's almost the weekend...YAY! lol x
 
yeah it was fine - I ended up eating before I went because she was getting stressed with me and the other girl both not wanting pizza lol. So I still had the pitta pizza but it was as crispy as usual as i forgot to crisp up one side first! Ah well....it wasn't too bad with a bit of ketchup.

i cant wait for the weekend either (although I am working saturday AND sunday booo!!) but at least Monday is a bank holiday so I can hopefully enjoy a day in the sun!its meant to be quite warm as far as I can tell.

I'm quite looking forward to my dinner tonight (already lol) as its good old fashioned summer food for me - but not as fatty as usual (as we would get a kfc or similar instead of home cooked). I'm going to experiment with some smash seasoned with salt, pepper and some fajita seasoning I have to coat the chicken. i think that will be really tasty! Plus it will be nice to have some coleslaw - feel naughty but isnt too bad now that I have some light mayo in hurrah!!

think it'll be meat free bolognesse and pasta for me tonight which isn't a patch on your tea tonight! hehe

going to head for my sandwich now i think...been a bit more hungry today - not sure why but get days like that don't we x
 
I know exactly what you mean - the last two days or felt really hungry (but it is star week so that could be why?!?!)

I've had my lunch and still hungry so I'm gonna have a cup of green tea and see if that sorts me out. If not I have some Special K biscuit moments I can have but that will mean not much scope for anything after dinner!!

Ill see how I go :)
 
does the green tea take your hunger away?
i can't drink tea or coffee...think that's why i take my soup - it gives me a heat when i need it and lines my stomach when i feel the hunger coming on and there's still a while til break time or whatever!

not long back home so just getting sorted for with dinners and things...all seperate meals in this house tonight (grrrr) but prepared now and trying to think what i can make tomorrow for dinner.

Still an hour til ill get home and be able to make a start on it (had to work a bit late which is annoying) and I'm hungry again! I did have the Special K thing in the end as well

The last couple of day I haven't taken carrot sticks as well as salad so I'm going to do that tomorrow and make sure I have plenty of syn free snack as well as a treat. I'm going to make the syn free hummus from the magazine so ill have that as well!

It's all in the preparation lol
 
you're so right...if i didn't plan, i honestly don't know what i'd eat...i kinda need to have a plan in place for everything and work to a routine cos i hate doing things at the last minute. when i get in from work, i do everything that needs to be done so that after dinner and once my little one's in bed, i can do nothing!

i've taken chicken out for tomorrow but still have no idea what to do with it. should really look through some recipes and make something i've not tried...but i don't want to have to go out tomorrow and get half the ingredients...buying a few things always leads to "ooh that's a good price, i'll just get that too!" x
 
Tell me a few things you have in and ill try and come up with some inspiration :)

This is the jar of seasoning I used. It's just a basic fajita mixture but if you haven't got that (or don't want to shop for it) then I would do salt, pepper, chill powder and maybe a little bit of ground cumin - but pls don't blame me if you don't like it hahahaha!

I've got 3.5 syns left for today but I don't really want to have them for some reason. Maybe I'm feeling guilty for having a few big dinners the last few days and worried that I'm not gonna lose anything on Monday :(

But I also felt a binge urge again after dinner and seriously thought about grabbing a couple of cereal bars - i resisted it by having some diet coke but this is the second time this had happened in four days!! Feel a bit baffled about it tbh. (Although maybe its because before I would have had it and just thought 'sod it ill start fresh tomorrow'?!)
 
thanks for that...i've gone to buy it a few times actually to see what it's like with just chicken, peppers etc and thought about making that to have with rice so i might pick it up.

hmmm.....wonder what's giving you the urge...do you think it's cos you've really been sticking to plan...and a wee devil voice is playing havoc??
its hard cos although it's good that you've stayed on plan...by not giving in it'll end up consuming a lot of your thoughts?

i get what you mean about feeling a bit funny at having bigger dinners...but if you've been genuinely hungry for it, and not eaten waaaay too much - to the point where you're super full...then why not?

you don't sound like you eat for the sake of it...from anything i've read anyway and i do honestly think you have a really mixed diet of good foods!

i hope you see the result you're looking for on monday...maybe a week of eating good, filling dinners will do you the world of good....but i'm taking no blame if you don't after my words of encouragement ;) hehe x
 
Lol I won't have anyone to blame if I stick 100% and nothing happens on Monday!! But I shall use your shining example and stick with it even if it shows the worst :)

I think it is a little bit of the devil on the shoulder telling me that it won't matter if I just have a little slip up as there is tons of time to make it up before WI. And I don't want to lose a lot of weight anyway - maybe 10 or 11lb - so maybe that's why I think it doesn't matter as much?! Deep down I know this is how I start slipping off plan so I need to just keep going. After a few more days I prob won't get the cravings anymore

Anyways I know the plan works and I know my limit is 15 syns a day. I had an alpen light with a nice cuppa as a 'pudding' in the end. I shouldn't feel guilty at Having those syns....obsessing about not losing them will be a recipe for disaster and cause more stress than its worth!

I still have some of the mixture left that I used for the chicken so I was wondering about maybe trying to make some sort of fake courgette fritters?! Would they work in an oven do you think?! Maybe the courgette will be too moist?!
