JanD into the third year of maintenance :-D

Glad you're enjoying your time away Jan.

My mum and dad had a fish pedicure while we were away. They both enjoyed it, said it tickled a little to start and then was very relaxing.

Enjoy your last few days!

Thanks Bev :) Last full day today and wouldn't you know it? The sun has disappeared :( Keeps trying to rain but it's only managed a little drizzle up to now.. DH says it should clear up this afternoon so fingers crossed. We're sitting in the window in the ballroom area of the hotel. This is exactly why I wanted a hotel on the prom :D

Finished off the mis-shapes last night, there were only (ONLY!) 5 milk chocolate ones so I had them. One thing I have absolutely NO trouble resisting is plain chocolate ... YUCK!

Full english again this morning - even had extra piece of bacon that mum didn't want and an extra half piece of toast & butter to put it on :(

Not even thinking about what those scales are gonna say after all this  .... but whatever it is it'll be sortable before we go to Kefalonia :) xx

Nice to see you feeling relaxed about any weight gain while you are away, you do know you can do it now Jan, you have proved that since Oz chick.

Yup, great attitude Jan :)

Bag of mis-shapes .... i think I might have to scower thorntons for them, never seen em before! x

Mmmmmmm they were nice Tan :) - glad I don't like dark choccie though ;)

The weather didn't buck up till this evening so Mum didn't get out till a short stroll/push;) on the prom just now (really an excuse for her to have a fag!) I went out for an hour earlier to get mum's mags and something for tea. We had lunch in the hotel. She had fish & chips coz it was plaice & she loves that and I had a tuna mayo sarnie.
You're right Mary I AM relaxed about whatever happens weight wise. Mum's greatest pleasure is food and as a rule I don't have anything - when I do her face lights up like a kid's when you give them sweets. I can't deny her that pleasure for these few days. I know that sounds like an excuse but I want her to have the best time poss. You should have seen her face when I brought in the M&S millionnaire's shortbread desserts! They weighed a ton and I refuse to look at the calories but she wouldn't have enjoyed hers half as much if I hadn't had one as well. It shouldn't be that way - but it is and there we are.
I also got a brie, grape & cranberry sarnie and 2 of their cous cousy salady things, one with goat's cheese & one with aubergine - they were okay but nothing to write home about. I haven't had my bit of the sarnie yet.

Had a couple of wines in the room earlier & now I'm on the V&Cs ... I want last nights barmaid back - she didn't charge for the coke!!!

Oh God - the entertainment is a Michael Buble wannabe - god save us! xx

Jan where is it you are staying?
I like the idea of there being entertainment in the hotel - that's like abroad style! Lol

You are right Jan, it shouldn't be that way but you like you say, can't deny your mum those pleasures for this week :)

Xxx

Chatsworth House Hotel .... I'd recommend it for what I'm doing. Not sure anyone under the age of about 50 would enjoy it ;) xx

Aww I bet she is so happy to see you eating Jan. It sounds like your time away has been so happy and relaxed, really pleased for you both.

I love the sound of the Michael Buble night, dont you like him?..........I know its a pretend one haha.

I'm am glad you are just enjoy your time and not stressing about food! Glad the OH came and saw you- very cute! Hope the drive back is ok with you x

Back home now but for some reason absolutely knackered!! Really really sleepy! I think I've been on 'standby' while away and not relaxed completely. Also I'm not good at sleeping with the light on or jumping up as soon as I wake up .... I'm not complaining, I really enjoyed it and I know Mum did which was the main thing.

Eating all the cr@p I have won't have helped either

Full english again this morning, tuna mayo sarnie & slice of chocolate tiffin for lunch, 3 chocs at mum's.

Dunno what we're having for tea.

There will be booze ;) xx

Aw glad you both had a lovely time :)
Enjoy your rare friday night off!! x

Tea ended up being fish & chips again (sorry Mary ;)) AND I had a piece of bread & clover

Forgot to say earlier Mary - yes I DO like Michael Buble but can't stand poor imitations! ;) xx

Oh yum!! Chippie tea!! I can't wait for sunday now!!

Chippy chippy chippy................lol, hope you enjoyed chick. Glad to have you home safe and I am sure you will be much more relaxed now that you are back home. Enjoy your Friday off xx

Had a looooooong sleep and STILL had to drag myself out of it at about 10.30 this morning

DH & I went for a mooch round Liverpool this afternoon. Didn't want to waste a rare saturday not in bed :)

Didn't have any breakie but had tuna mayo sarnie with chunkie fries in L'pool and a couple of glasses of wine.
I've nibbled a couple of graze box snacks (last one delivered this morning) and may have some toast or something later ... as you can see not yet back in the land of 'goodness'

Wine ;) xx

OOPS forgot to mention DH & I shared 2 krispy kreme doughnuts in L'pool  x
