JanD into the third year of maintenance :-D

Blimey what a marathon THAT was this morning. Well I say this morning - I finally lay down to go to sleep at 2.45 this afternoon!! :(

Long drawn out hospital visit for Mum seeing various people and having various tests culminating in the first of 3 injections she's gotta have right into her eyeball (BLEURGH!!!! :(:( )
There's going to be a lot more visits a couple of weeks apart and then once a month for the rest of her life! A real pain - but if she does end up seeing better (not guaranteed but fingers crossed) it'll be well worth it.

Thursday 4th August

Banana at Mum's

About 2.15pm - LT maintenance choc whip.

Tea - Chunks of chicken & salad with balsamic

Work - Asda meal bar.

K-nackered in work tonight - but I'm sure I'll survive xx

Yikes Jan that was indeed a long one!!
And look you didn't even have any extra food :) x

I KNOW!! ***polishes halo*** ;) I was REALLY hungry too at the hosp & Mum really wanted me to have something but I had enough of that last week! She had something but I just had a coffee. I considered not having the choc whip tbh ... but only for a second or two ;) xx

I feel we may have mrs D back :D x

Oh I do hope so! :)

I don't understand how I missed your posts from in the night last night. I was online & checked for new posts every now and again. Mind you my 'puter was playing up a bit. I had to restart it a few times and when i was trying to watch the iplayer all I was doing was listening to the sound and watching a series of stills ... most irritating. I'm afraid I'm going to have to think about getting a new one. This has had all the memory added it's possible to add. It IS nearly 7 years old so I suppose I've had my money's worth - but they're so expensive! I'd rather have another holiday ;)!

Anyhoo - Friday 5th August

Mum's - 2 slices of ham before I took her to the dentist

Breakie - vanilla mousse

Bed

Tea - Baked chicken breast stuffed with haloumi & wrapped in bacon with salad & el salad cream

small banana

Work - Asda meal bar xx

Ya sure it wasn't mini's as the site has been playing up on me today!

Don't blame you for wanting a holiday instead ;)

Menu looking fab again today :D xx

Oh well I suppose it could have been. It just kept saying there were no new posts in my UserCP .... probably my 'puter tho'. If I moan enough for the next few months maybe I can con one out of DH for Christmas :giggle: xx

Haha sounds like a plan to me! ;) x

Ooooops!

1 thornton's continental choc, 2 squares of choc & a chunk of ham to take the taste away :( xx

'chunk of ham to take the taste away' :giggle: sooo know what you mean! The taste is worse with dark chocolate, good job you don't like that lol x

Aww RIP poor Tyson, your friend must be totally devastated. How old was Tyson Jan?

Well you seem to have gone back on track after your stew days hon, and to be honest, I know where you are coming from. I am like that too after stew, and strangely enough, I ALWAYS weigh heavier the next morning after stew too!

I think Tyson was 11 Mary. He's always had an enlarged heart though. He was on tablets for years and they just stopped working :(. They had 4 days where he couldn't walk, they even had to carry him out for a wee. He couldn't go on like that so they had to let him go. Vicki is in bits but it seems not many people understand and are mostly saying 'it was only a dog' :( so I feel really sorry for her... well for them as her husband ... great big bear of a bloke but soft as anything ... is just as devastated. :(

***sigh***

Anyhoo ....

Saturday 6th August

slice ham and a teensy bit of cheese at mum's

Breakie - vanilla mousse

bed

Tea - pan fried pork loin steak (in frylight) with pak choi, green beans & baby sweetcorn

Wine - DH opened me a bottle of Oster Bay SV as I was drinking SV in Llandudno okay and we have a few bottles that people have brought/bought us. It was DISGUSTING!!! Not 'off' just horrible BLEURGHHHH!!!!!
It's just totally different sitting in the sun on Llandudno pier obviously! Anyway I'm now on Soave .... my next favourite to my usual Pinot ... compared to the SV it's GORGEOUS!!!! xx

Lol no wonder that soave is so nice .. just been out to fill my glass and it's Pinot he's opened not soave! :D xx

Well please pass on my condolences and sympathies to Tyson's Mum and Dad, I can totally understand how they must be feeling. To lose a pet is just like losing a family member - poor things, really feel for them.

Wahey, look at Mrs D, such a connoisseur, I wouldnt have a clue, I just buy the 3 bottles for £12 when its on offer haha............now Voddie on the other hand

Pardon me but these Pinot's are 3 for £10 in Asda!!! ;) ... I'm no connoseur (sp?) - I just know what I like ;)

I'll pass on your condolensces to Vicki & Harry - thanks a lot xx

Had some chunks of chicken & 4 McCoys crisps x

Awww its horrible when people say 'its just a dog'. Really, its not!! Whats the saying "mans best friend" :( shame on them.

hahahahaha what are we like, i'm another 3 for £10/£12 girl! ;)

Afraid I also had 2 large amarettos - in bed too - decadent or what? ;)

I don't know whether I'll get weighed tomorrow (or even tuesday which is the proper day really) - I'm really bloated and I'm constipated (sorry if tmi ;)) I took 2 senna tablets last night but they haven't worked. I didn't even get up for a wee in the night which generally only happens when I've been eating LOADS or too many carbs. I don't know what's going on but deffo not quite right at the mo.... I FEEL alright though so I'm not worried about my health - just my weight .. lol!!

Sunday 7th August (4 weeks today to hols :))

Breakie - vanilla mousse

Lunch - tesco meal bar

Tea - I think will be the last of the pork loin steaks with salad

V&C's ;) xx

I can understand where you are coming from - but if I dont weigh, I tend to over-eat, but even if I know I am probably over, I will weigh and it seems to reign me in a little bit.

Funny how we all act differently in situations regarding our weight :)
