Lost 1lb this week - would have liked more obviously but couldn't expect it after Saturday.

Well if it would have been rude not to have that drink yesterday it would have been even ruder not to have somehting to eat on his secret shopper restaurant visit today! He had to have 2 courses so I had the starter and he had the main. Trouble is, because they were coming out together they 'beefed' up the starter and it was really quite a lot! Okay I hear you - I didn't have to eat it all - but it was gorgeous!! I think the dressing would have been quite calorific as it was very sweet but anyway ..... :eek:

Monday 19th April

Breakie - 1 weetabix, raspberies, blueberries, splenda & skimmed milk.

Lunch (see above) - 2 cod and pancetta fishcakes on a rocket salad with dressing

Tea - chicken & ham salad with vlf salad cream

Wine ;)

Thanks guys ;) ... I AM supposed to be concentrating on losing a few lbs .... looks like it's going to be REALLY gradual ;) Still if you can't indulge a little when you're at/around target when can you? xx
 
Well done on the loss Jan, thats excellent. Better off than on chick, and to boost it all, a great weekend was had.

Tuesday 20th April

Breakie - 1 weetabix, raspberries etc

Lunch - Pouch of Lloyd Grossman chicken & veg soup & slice of 50/50 bread

3.30pm Alpen light bar

5.15pm 6 almonds

Tea (7ish) - Turkey mince 'stew' including onion, leek, passata, stock cube, carrot & sweet potato with morroccan spices.

Prob have a coupla V&Cs later :eek: xx

Mmmm, Vodka.........I could just drink one of those in a tall glass, with a dash of lime cordial, topped with ice and diet lemonade.

Mary the soups are nice. I prefer the carrot & coriander to the chicken & veg but that's nice too. I haven't seen any others. xx

Thats a must for Friday afternoon. My Son called today, he wont be home from work until 7pm, and his Girlfriend works from 3-6pm, so if we get there before 3, we can dump our cases and make our way to the local pub, which is about a mile walk, and then my Son can pick us up on the way home :D

Yes, I love the carrot and coriander one. The first time I tasted it was years ago, (cutting a long story short) our local hospital was being closed, and I was an in-patient at the time, we all got sent in ambulances to a brand new hospital, and the Health Minister was making a visit that day. It was all Lloyd Grossman recipes, and the meals were delicious.

2 years later, I had to go into hospital again for a couple of weeks, needless to say, the Lloyd Grossman recipes had gone, and it was back to normal hospital food :sigh:
 
Well -hospitals aren't exactly known for their cuisine are they Mary ;) Lol!

Wednesday 21st April (Happy Birthday Your Majesty ;))

No breakie - long lie in coz of starting work tonight.

Lunch - Butternut squash soup & slice of bread

Pear
Plum
Slice of ham ..... these are because i'm doing some painting - every time I need to wait for something to dry I make a drink and want something to eat! I also don't think the soup was filling enough.

Tea - Jumbo prawn stirfry, there wasn't very much :eek:
Eat Natural kids lunchie

I've brought to work, 8 almonds which I've already eaten, some of yesterday's turkey 'stew', a pear, a plum and a small bunch of grapes. xx

Edit - also had a large handful of mixed nuts
Edit2 - 1 square of cadbury's choc
