I'm glad you'll be choosing for me Iris - I love it when someone takes over for me ... it happens so rarely BTW - RC arrived today - isn't it HEAVY!! lol xx

Tues 1st June

Breakie - 2 weetabix, raspberries etc

Lunch - Concoction in Mum's - Small tin of red salmon, pickles, gherkins, tomatoes, lf mayo, shared with mum & had 3 tuc crackers with it.

Don't know if it's because the salmon was 18 months out of date but I've been feeling sick all afternoon. We don't really believe in dates on things - if it smells alright and tastes alright we eat it - and Mum's fine. Could have been the shock to my system of doing all her housework - a bit energetic for me . My sister's coming from Cyprus tonight & I always feel the place has to be especially clean in case she thinks I'm not looking after Mum properly ... Now I KNOW that's crazy but there we are. So I've changed beds and scrubbed out as well as doing all the shopping etc but that really shouldn't have made me feel ill!!! Lol!!

Didn't stop me having a mini icecream - bit like a tiny magnum.

Had some alkaseltzer about an hour ago - no change yet though

Maybe I'm nervous at meeting Iris tomorrow HaHa ... xxx

Just spoke to Mum and she's still fine - you'd think at 84 she'd succumb if it WAS the salmon's fault (and how guilty would I feel ) as the alkasetzer didn't seem to work I'm trying a v&c :8855: xx

Sadly ..... ?????? 3 v&cs seems to have worked ... what does that say?? ... I've also just had the crust off a danish loaf with anchor and phili light xx

Oh, I am pulling your leg. I do hope you are ok, although just read your other post and the V&C's have done the trick..mmmmmm.....I feel another "pulling of leg" coming again..:8855::8855:

Heavy, as in lots to take in? I found it easy, probably because I have done her plans before so it was much the same, apart from the fact the calories were reduced! You will get the hang of it, but as said on numerous occasions (feel I keep repeating this), I have kinda gone on my own recipes/menus as some of hers were a bit iffy to me!

HaHa - you credit me with too much subtlety!! Heavy meant heavy - I meant it was a flippin' heavy book!!! IE weighs a lot LOL!!! Haven't had the chance to have a good look at it yet. xx

Oh, hope you dont get lost.....sure you will be fine..if you arrive earlier, it is fine..remember, I work on my own, and the boss' on holiday anyway, so no one will be around! So, if you are early, it is perfectly ok and we will just have more time together....so, are you working tomorrow night then?????? I am sure you said somewhere you were working tomorrow, Thur and Fri...but maybe I have got it wrong.

Yeh, you can give me a call to say you have arrived and depending on what time it is, I will come downstairs and we can go straight to eat, or if you get there earlier, we can have a drink...play it by ear!
I am getting in early tomorrow to try and do everything so that I am free,,,but it wont matter anyway, I can play catch up the next day ;-)
