LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Indeed, what are we like! Suckers for heartburn! ha

When i went to salou last year it was just 1 week after finishing TFR i had the most severe heartburn ever. I put it down to the vodka! Still didnt stop me drinking it like it was going out of fashion every night!!!!

Chocolate, pastry and oranges all give me heartburn. But....pastry is definitely the worst culprit.

thanks jan and mary, I dont liked smoked I am afraid, takes me back to when I was in care, and made to eat it, I used to go to the toilet with it wrapped in a hanky and try and flush it down the toilet, you can imagine, it just used to float on the top, it took ages to get rid of. :8855: Will look for the recipe for slimming world chips as I think hubby would like it like that. It doesn't say smoked on the packet so hopefully it will be ok.

Just peel your chips and place them on a tray, either squirt with frylite or just use a spoonful of olive oil in a bag and shake them about. Sprinkle with cracked black pepper, sea salt, paprika, or anything of your choice and bake in a hot oven for about half an hour, turning occassionally. My favourite.

I have to peel a cucumber...EVEN organic because it is the one thing that gives me heartburn (when I am being good)......choc, and everything else when I am being very naughty!!!

Love SW chips..oh, I had some sweet potatoes last night. Cut them up into small squares, cooked them in water in micro for a few mins...then got the spray lite, some paprika and black/red pepper and cooked them in the oven...LUVLY JUBLY!!

I only tried the sweet potato once, but just made it like a normal jacket potato, I haven't tried it again since.

Jury is still out as to whether I like it or not.

I love sweet potatoes, I like them baked too.

The river cobbler will be yellow if it's smoked Joy - white if not. Hope you enjoy it xx

Right!! Back on track now :)

Friday 28th May

Breakie - 2 weetabix, blueberries, splenda & skimmed milk

Lunch - I'm going to make a salad now and one to take to work. I'll have fish with this one - pilchards or sardines whatever's in cupboard and I have a hankering for chicken so I'm going to Asda to get one that I'll cook & have over my 3 nights with salad.

Tea - Pasta bolognese. I've got a small jar of the light dolmio sauce (usually make my own but I'll use this up) which I'll add to mince & mushrooms.

I think I might get some of the packs of prepared fruit to take to work too pineapple, mango etc & maybe some ff from frais (not sure if asda have that) or plain yoghurt ... hmmm mouth's watering! :) xx

whew!!!!:8855: the river cobbler is white, I steer away from yellow fish must be instinct. I think its was finny haddock I used to flush down the loo. I am still traumatised

Welcome back aboard mrs D!! Well, i say welcome i aint even there meself!!! :giggle:

Adding 2 pears to today's consumption ;) x

Up to now I've spent 2 hours installing software and trying to get it to work. I've managed some of it but I still need to reduce the size of the photos to upload them - DH will have to help me with that. xx

menu looking good Jan! You will get back into the swing of things in no time at all!

I must try this river cobbler that you all talk about..never seen it at all! It is frozen?

what does it taste like??? apart from the obvious.FISH :8855:
Is it salt water fish? Must have a look..dont tend to shop there, but will make a special effort as the fish variety in UK is pretty naff and get fed up eating the same old same old !!

I find it just a bit of a milder taste to cod. I love the white one and the smoked one. Fraction of the price of cod though.

Deffo worth a try - they have it in our Asda as well - but not Sainsbury's. We had the lightly dusted one tonight. It's a nice mild fish - I don't lke anything too 'fishy'. Pollock is nice too.

Breakie - 2 weetabix etc

Bed

Tea - Lighty dusted river cobbler & stir fry. A pear

Work - Chicken salad with balsamic, piece bread with low fat spread & tiny bit of coleslaw, small fruit salad with total 0% yog.

NB ... Nothing extra in work last night or in Mum's this morning (pat's self on back! ;)) xx
