JanD's New Year, New Start, Maintenance Diary

Looking good today Mrs :) So when you get up you have lunch and eat breakkie before bed? you are topsy turvy woman! :giggle: x

:p ... I just have my meals at the same time of day. I have breakie in the morning, dinner in the evening and lunch either at lunchtime or in the middle of the night depending if I'm in bed or not. That actually makes more sense to me than changing round all the meal times. Besides - I don't think DH would be very happy if I put a bowl of weetabix in front of him when he gets in from work. ;) xx

:rotflmao: i can just see his face!!!

Similar to what I do Jan, I just move my meals forward approx 3 hours.

Jan, well done on the loss. It shows PP is working for you anyway. I watched Gok last night too to see the famous face(yours of course) in the crowd. It all looked like tremendous fun!

It WAS good, I'm glad I went but there was an awful lot of hanging around. I mean, for that 8-9 minute piece we were there for about 5 hours! xx

Yikes!!!

Wow, 5 hrs!! it looked a little cold there too, so you must have felt it!

Oh no it was all indoors, it was just the standing around - didn't half make the old back ache. I'm glad I didn't go to the catwalk bit on the Friday - now that WOULD have been freezing!! xx

Thursday 27th January

Tea - Pork casserole done in slow cooker - I can't find the pps for diced pork, don't know what cut, so I'm guessing at 15pp for the 500g - please correct me if anyone knows or thinks that's out. I'm counting that I will have 12 of those between my tea and a portion for work - I think that's an overestimation but that's okay.

In view of what Tan says (below) I am upping the pork estimate to 20pp for the whole thing & 15 for the 2 portions I'm having.

meringue nest & ww yog 1pp

work - casserole as above, tortilla to put some in 4pp, oaty bar 2pp, fruit.

Breakie in the morning - 2 weetabix, blueberries, splenda & skimmed milk 4pp

s/t 26pp (Damn - still enough for toast )
29 lushies left

I reckon the pork would be about right - i have a 120g pork loin as 5pp i hope i have that right otherwise ive been doing it wrong lol

Dont overestimate Jan ... extra points ;) hehe xx

Hmmm - that would mean 360g would be 15pp & this was 500g so maybe more like 20pp? Perhaps I should up the estimate - might stop me having toast or something in the morning too, just coz I've got points!! xx

Nah Jan ... depends on the cut of meat etc and how much fat on it. I dont think it would be 20pp though - i mean just normal beef mince is 28pp and thats not even extra lean xx

I did fry it off first to get rid of the fat but I've changed it anyway - I'd rather be on the safe side. May give pork a miss now though till I've lost what I want to get off (9lbs!) xx

I was intrigued so the one i found with nutrition info on comparesupermarket site was tesco organic diced pork which, per 150g works out at 4pp ... so i think you might be right with around 15pp Jan :) xx

Really? Ah thanks for looking for it :) .... I don''t think I'll change it back just in case and because if I've got those points free I'll only use them on something else!!! xx

Steak is so filling too.....I don't tend to have much with mine these days, not even chips! I just have a mixed salad and a nice thick fillet, served very rare, almost blue........simply wipe it's arse and bring it to the table! Mmmmmm

wipe its arse & bring it to the table!! :rotflmao: ..... Thats a bit too rare - i like mine a nice medium. Havnt had steak for aaaaaaaaages!!! :(

Good idea re the points then Jan, don't wana be picking for the sake of it xx
