Food looking brill again Jan :)
Those Belgian chocolate slices are just toooooooo nice! Saw some today in sains reduced but I resisted  even my little bro says for a diet option they are yummy!

Jan, is WW yogurt 2pp or is that including the meringue nest?

Food is looking really good chick. You WILL get those few lbs off for Oz.

I know they are aren't they Tan :) ... I was glad when the last box had gone but then couldn't resist getting more. I think it's amusing the way there is precisely 1 little chunk of choc in each one :D ... I have visions of someone sitting at a conveyor belt dropping 1 diddy piece on each cake ;) LOL!!

That 2pp was including the meringue nest Mary. I hope I CAN shift these lbs! I'm beginning to think maybe 1.5lbs a week is okay when you're eating this much because it IS sustainable long term - it's just with me having the time constraint of middle of March!! I know in the grand scheme of things 9lbs isn't that much but it feels like it is at the moment!! xxx

I think 1.5lbs is a great amount to lose each week, owing to the fact that you are not overweight Jan. Deadlines are killers though eh!

They certainly are!!

Not overweight??? Well maybe not on the charts, though I'm at the very top end of 'healthy weight', but believe me there's plenty of excess that could do with shifting!!! (But thanks :)) xx

Ah thanks :D .... I've decided to go and see if i can get a pair of jeans next week. I've never owned a pair, never been a good size or shape for them. I've lived my whole life in elastic - well being 12.5st at 12 there's not much else that fits and you sort of just grow up with it. Maybe one of my mistakes has been wearing clothes that grow and shrink with me ;). I have a couple of fitted things now but not many. Maybe they'll help keep me on the straight & narrow :) xx

Go you..........I will be honest, I love my jeans Jan. Jeans and a pair of boots, just feels so comfortable and looks good.

Elasticated waists can give you that comfort zone, where you dont feel any weight gain, but you would certainly feel any bloatedness in jeans. Give em a whirl Mrs D. My favourites are bootleg jeans.

I'd have to have bootleg or flared to balance out my hips (thanks Gok ;)) but the ones i've seen in Asda only have straight leg ones that go up to the waist - I couldn't bear having things sitting low, they'd have to be up to my waist so i guess i won't be getting them in Asda - and just hope that's not a general trend!

Anyway must pack up now - c u later :D xx

It took me ages to get used to the jeans that weren't up to the waist. I got some nice ones in New Look that are waist high and bootleg, might be worth a visit there chick.

Have a good sleep, catch you later or tomorrow. xx

I'm back wearing my Armani jeans that I bought in 1997! they were really expensive back then but fitted great, quite high cos I like things that are on my waist as it's the only bit that's really small......I don't even know what sort of jeans are fashionable these days tbh:eek: I figure that at my age it's more important to wear things that fit and I'm so terrified of looking like mutton dressed as lamb......I have never worn jeans that are bigger than a size 14 cos I refuse to buy them, I think that size 20 jeans look totally gross. I did buy some size 16 once but Paul actually said that he didn't think they were very flattering and he never usually comments at all so I figured that they must've looked awful and never wore them again:(

I'm with you on those last few lbs Jan, I'd like them gone in 2 weeks max!

Ps my sister lost another 1 1/2lbs this week that's 8 1/2 in 3 weeks so she's pretty chuffed....I would be too.

Good morning - about the Jean thing! You said you were bottom heavy. My legs are proportionately fatter due to no muscle tone in legs/poor mobility and I find Next the best for jeans. None other fit properly - if u go online and search on wide leg jeans, them it's safe to get what size you are waist/hips wise and ur guaranteed they'll still fit on the leg! Littlewoods catalogue are sometimes good swell for same reason .. But shops like Asda Tesci New Look etc are no good for me. Need a bigger size to compensate for legs which hang off in other parts... just a thought x

Oooh i have jeans from sains & tesco and the ones from sains are defo the better fit. Try there Jan ... not to expensive either :) x

Thanks girlies :) I can try both of those shops this week :).... I wouldn't order on line, I'd have to try them on.

Saturday 29th January

Mango, meringue nest 1pp, ww yog 1pp.

Did you just put the whole chicken in jan? Any water/stock? Xx

No nothing - I looked on line last night and there was all kinds of ideas ranging from don't do it at all it's dangerous to add stock to half way up the chicken. I decided to follow one which said to put a few wadges of tin foil in the bottom to keep the chicken away from the base and therefore stop it 'boiling' in the juices and put it in upside down to keep the breast nice and moist. That's all I did and it was on low for about 8.5 hours. I'd do it again no problem - it was lovely :D xx

Lol the delivery folk hate me! I order about five different styles in three different sizes, just to hopefully get one item! Then send rest back (if not all)...
Saying that, it's rare I manage to get to a shop, let alone cope with the dressing/undressing to try stuff on; so that's my justification! Lol
Got two weddings in May, that's gonna take some amount of delivery/returns! The boy's'll be resigning ... pmsl

Exact same as me! I reckon the both of us will certainly send em over the edge!! :giggle:

LOL! That just shows what a lazy *rse I am ... really couldn't be bothered parcelling stuff up and having to send it back - even if that only meant waiting for someone to pick them up! Besides which I have NEVER had a good experience when sending for stuff and always end up in a strop :giggle:

Sunday 30th January

Breakie - 2 slices ww bread toasted with ls jam 3pp

Lunch - Turkey thigh stew (turkey thigh, casserole veggies, passata, stock cubes) hard to point but I think about 20pp altogether. I'm going to count mine as 7pp but there's no way I had 1/3rd so I'm hoping that's on the generous side.

Tea - Some of yesterdays chicken and a slice of ham with salad in a tortilla 8pp

1pp for 0pp stuff

V&Cs @4pp x 3 in pub x 3 at home +1
snackajacks 2pp
ww belgian choc slice 2pp
s/t 51pp

DH just brought me a V&C I didn't ask for .. I could refuse it of course but i didn't :( ... so 2pp left .. the most lushies I've ever used ... wi tomorrow will tell .......

Only an eejit like me would decide to have 51pp the day before wi and be down to 6pp left for the 1st time too! Assuming I don't have another V&C in which case I'll be down to 2pp!!!! :( ... I think I'm a lost cause xx
