JanD's New Year, New Start, Maintenance Diary

Max and Lola are gorgeous - love em.

Food looking great Jan. You are looking really motivated with being back in the 140's, well done hunni.

I DO feel motivated and have no cravings at the mo :D ... I think the best thing I did was to stop 'counting' ... I should have known not to start - I DID resist but ended up doing it again! Having said that I'm still recording on mfp but more to make sure I'm up on the protein, getting some fat and low on carbs than stressing about the cals (which incidentally have been around 11-1200 on average)- I don't know whether I'll have lost this week but tbh after that massive meal on monday and the worry about having been dehydrated for this weeks wi I'll be satisfied with a sts ... we shall see!

Friday 18th Feb

Bed

Tea - omelette/frittata (sp?) type thingy whatsit ... spring onions, mushrooms, 2 turkey rashers, chives & cherry tomatoes done in fryng pan with tsp olive oil then bunged under the grill. Tsp helmanns.

2 slices of cooked chicken & slice ham (mum's)

work - 70g ham, 70g chicken, tblsp helmann's, 1 boiled egg, 2 easy peelers.

Breakie - not sure yet - getting a bit sick of eggs! xx

Fab you are feeling much more happier and motivated now :D

Food looking fab again. Its hard to think of stuff to have besides egg & meat when were trying to low carb it isnt it! xx

Jan, you are well back in the zone of queen of maintaining. Well done!!!! I agree on not stressing over counting though it is a good idea to keep an overall eye on totals to see we are getting the mix near enough right!!
You are on a roll at the minute so keep doin what your doin cos it sure is working well for you.
The doggies are such dotes. I just love them both!!

Thanks guys ... long may it continue. I've actually been over on mfp totting things up & if I have 2 eggs & mayo again in the morning I'll only have had 989 cals! Have to think about that one.

I'm living on chicken & eggs with a bit of ham thrown in. I've had quorn once (but it makes me feel bloated) a little bit of fruit but not much veg at all. Think I'll get some turkey in the morning when I'm shopping ... slight change ;o)) x

Oooooh Turkey! The excitement!!! :giggle:

I think protein's the Kay to curbing the cravings.....for me if I start eating toast for instance, I will always want another slice!

I think you'll be back at target by the time you go on holiday Jan....then you can enjoy all those lovely Aussie barbies:D
