Not got the boys Tan - couldn't sleep coz of said 'situation' - it's nothing that will be resolved quickly unfortunately. In fact may end up being something that has to be lived with. All I can do is be as supportive as I can. I almost wish we weren't going away now tbh but I'm hoping I get over that

Breakie - ww yog & blueberries
Lunch - Bowl of carrot & coriander soup in sainsbury's cafe - didn't have the bread. Small banana
Tea - chicken salad I think
Going to theatre tonight to see Neil Morrisey - I'm hoping he's really funny - I couldn't half do with a good laugh Wine will be imbibed I'm thinking xx

Ah thanks guys - you're all so great
I love my kids but sometimes I wish I wasn't so emotionally invested in them - what happens to them hurts just as much as if it was happening to me. I'm sure you know what I mean - all we want is for them to be happy and when they're not it's heartbreaking.
ANYHOO ... Neil Morrisey ... it was okay ... I thought it was stand up but in fact it was question & answer & while he was amusing it wasn't the good laugh I was expecting/hoping for. It hadn't sold very well either - we got a phone call the other day to say it had been moved from the main theatre into the conference centre and I reckon there were only about 100 people there. Not a particularly good start to his 33 date tour. Still it got us out

Aw shame the gig wasnt up to standard Jan but like you say, atleast it got you out for a few hours

Pity that the gig was a bit of a letdown. It can happen sometimes.
I hope things improve soon on the family front. All you can do is let them know you are there for them and help if asked.

Thanks Molly I try to be. I've spent the afternoon with the family in question and heartbreaking is the only word ... having said that it's probably no more that we've all been through at some time or another in our lives ... not that that makes it any easier!!
We're just going for 2 weeks Tigerlill - 16 nights away but two of those will be spent on a plane! Soooo can't believe it's only a week away!!!

Lunch - Half a tub of asda red pepper & wensleydale soup Half an asda chicken & bacon sarnie
little crust of a spelt loaf with butter.
Tea - Salmon with roasted veg & a small baked sweet potato, dessertspoon of helmanns.
